  • Patent number: 11647415
Abstract: A radio network node receives a data block to be transmitted by the radio network node towards a destination node. The data block is received over an upstream wireless backhaul from an upstream radio network node and/or is to be transmitted towards the destination node over a downstream wireless backhaul to a downstream radio network node. The radio network node determines a remaining delay budget that indicates a remaining portion of a delay budget for the data block to reach the destination node. The radio network node makes a decision about how or whether to transmit the data block, based on the remaining delay budget.

  • Patent number: 11632775
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support managing allocation of configured grant (CG) resources for uplink transmissions using a polynomial over Galois field in a wireless communication system. In particular, a user equipment (UE) may be configured (e.g., by a base station) to determine a resource to access, from a resource pool configured for each CG occasion of a CG configuration, based on a polynomial over Galois field configured for the UE. The polynomial over Galois field may include a parameter p, and the UE may be configured with a mapping that maps the absolute time (e.g., a slot index or a symbol index) of a GC occasion to an index between 0 and p?1 that is used as input to the polynomial The result of the polynomial is used to determine the resource to access by the UE at the CG occasion.

  • Patent number: 11610142
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing a safety monitor framework for a safety-critical inference application are disclosed. A system includes a safety-critical inference application, a safety monitor, and an inference accelerator engine. The safety monitor receives an input image, test data, and a neural network specification from the safety-critical inference application. The safety monitor generates a modified image by adding additional objects outside of the input image. The safety monitor provides the modified image and neural network specification to the inference accelerator engine which processes the modified image and provides outputs to the safety monitor. The safety monitor determines the likelihood of erroneous processing of the original input image by comparing the outputs for the additional objects with a known good result. The safety monitor complements the overall fault coverage of the inference accelerator engine and covers faults only observable at the network level.

  • Patent number: 11611974
Abstract: Techniques for uplink scheduling in a wireless network are disclosed. A wireless access point (AP) receives, from a wireless station (STA), a buffer status report (BSR) reflecting data accumulated at the STA for uplink to the AP. • Patent number: 11540186
Abstract: When frequency range 1 (FR1) (e.g., Sub6 Ghz radio coverage), and FR2 (e.g., mmW coverage) are present in a given area, there can be a broader coverage from FR1 broadcasting in addition to targeted coverage from FR2 broadcasting. Consequently, FR1 can overlap FR2. To generate system efficiencies, the FR1 and FR2 spectrums can be combined by carrier aggregation (CA) and/or dual connectivity (DC). Thus, a hybrid approach can combine use of both CA and DC, based on radio access network instructions and radio frequency conditions experienced by a user equipment device as it transitions between CA and DC coverage areas.
