  • Patent number: 11107662
Abstract: A microwave energy source that generates a microwave energy is disclosed. The microwave energy source has an on-state and an off-state. A control circuit is coupled to the microwave energy source and includes an output to generate a control signal that adjusts a pulse frequency of the microwave energy. • Patent number: 11102877
Abstract: An array of non-thermal plasma emitters is controlled to emit plasma based on application of an electric current at desired frequencies and a controlled power level. A power supply for an array controller includes a transformer that operates at the resonant frequency of the combined capacitance of the array and the cable connecting the array to the power supply. The power into the array is monitored by the controller and can be adjusted by the user. The controller monitors reflected power characteristics, such as harmonics of the alternating current, to determine initiation voltage of the plasma and/or resonant frequency plasma emitters. The array of non-thermal plasma emitters may be used in therapeutic, diagnostic, and/or medical sanitization applications, such as to prevent, limit, and/or treat the development of diseases caused in humans by infectious agents.

  • Patent number: 11095288
Abstract: Switchboxes are especially used in integrated circuits with programmable logic (e.g. FPGAs). They are used to establish configurable signal paths between logic blocks. The present invention is based on the task to present a switchbox with a small number of multiplexers and configuration bits, which can both forward a signal in signal direction and can implement a change of direction. The task is solved by using switchboxes consisting of direction multiplexers and at least one direction change multiplexer. Thus the signal direction can be changed arbitrarily without increasing the size of the direction change multiplexers.

  • Patent number: 11063350
Abstract: An edge enabled void antenna (EEVA) apparatus is provided. The EEVA apparatus includes a conductive plane and a void is created on a geometric perimeter of the conductive plane to form an EEVA. A radio frequency (RF) port is coupled to the void to receive an RF signal. The RF signal excites the conductive plane to induce an electrical current along the geometric perimeter of the conductive plane. The void can cause the electrical current to increase and decrease on the geometric perimeter of the conductive plane, thus causing an electromagnetic wave corresponding to the RF signal being radiated from the EEVA. By forming the EEVA on the geometric perimeter of the conductive plane, it may be possible to enable a well-functioning antenna apparatus with a small effective footprint, thus allowing multiple EEVAs to be provided in a space confined wireless device with sufficient isolation for improved RF performance.
