  • Patent number: 11961018
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include identifying and notifying requestors that may be candidates for a particular autonomous vehicle in order to find those candidates that may be willing or able to relax their travel constraints to match the autonomous vehicle. A request flow may involve surfacing the potential option of matching to an autonomous vehicle before setting a specific destination. For example, the request flow may involve determining that an autonomous vehicle is sufficiently near an in-session potential requestor. Before the potential requestor enters a specific destination, the request flow may present the possibility of the potential requestor being matched with the autonomous vehicle. In some examples, the request flow may then provide available drop-off locations that are compatible with the autonomous vehicle for selection by the potential requestor. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11954637
Abstract: A method for inferring a status asset information from data of a first type gathered by a first asset tracking device is provided. The method includes determining that a first asset tracking device coupled to a first asset and a second asset tracking device coupled to a second asset are travelling together, that the first asset tracking device has a first operating mode, and that the second asset tracking device has a second operating mode, which is different from the first operating mode of the first asset tracking device. In response, the second asset tracking device enters into a low-power mode in which it either does not gather data of the first type or does so at a reduced rate. Status information related to the second asset may be inferred from data of the first type gathered by the first asset tracking device.

  • Patent number: 11948124
Abstract: A variety of factors may affect a shipment as it travels from a sender to a recipient. However, reliably gathering and storing information relating to such factors may be difficult because of the wide variation in the means for generating and/or collecting such information. Accordingly, examples of the present disclosure describe shipment record systems and methods. In an example, an image capture device is used to generate image data relating to a shipment. The image data may be associated with the shipment to generate a shipment record, such that the shipment record may be later updated and/or retrieved. In examples, the shipment record comprises other shipment information relating to the shipment. As a result, it is possible to generate statistics, identify trends, and provide reports relating to one or more shipments, which increases accountability and enables shipping agents to dynamically adjust resource allocation, among other benefits.

  • Patent number: 11853927
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system includes receiving a request to participate in an electronic seating optimization algorithm and retrieving data about an existing electronic ticket, the data including a location of a seat within a venue. A first list of one or more requests to participate in the electronic seating optimization algorithm may be generated where the first list is ranked in accordance with at least a location of each seat associated with an electronic ticket. Subsequently, a seating optimization algorithm is executed to identify optimal and available seats corresponding to one or more seats from each request to participate. A second list of the one or more requests to participate is generated where the second list is ranked in accordance with the results of the electronic seating optimization algorithm. The location of a seat is then transmitted over a communications network in response to at least one request.
