  • Patent number: 11648405
Abstract: Practitioners who use sacral neuromodulation on a regular basis have sought ways to simplify the procedure and performing percutaneous nerve evaluations in the office setting have become increasingly more popular. However, many practitioners are limited by the lack of availability of fluoroscopy in the office setting and do not feel comfortable executing the procedure without it, for a variety of reasons. The disclosed system and method demonstrate an avenue to circumvent the lack of fluoroscopic guidance in the office setting enabling execution of percutaneous nerve evaluations successfully and efficiently.

  • Patent number: 11602637
Abstract: The capsule comprises a tubular body and a front-end unit with an helical screw for anchoring the capsule to a wall of a patient's organ. The front-end unit is mobile in relative axial rotation with respect to the tubular body. A disengageable frictional coupling member allows this relative rotation when, for implantation, the tubular body receives an external rotational stress, and that until a predetermined limit torque triggering the disengagement. At explantation, this disengagement is prevented to allow a joint rotation of the tubular body and of the front-end unit and the unscrewing of the helical screw. It is provided for that purpose two conjugated plates facing each other, with flat surfaces such as circular sectors offset in opposite directions with respect to a radial reference plane, in such a way as to form steps providing an anti-disengagement abutment function.

  • Patent number: 11564611
Abstract: An animated electrophysiology map is generated from a plurality of data points, each including measured electrophysiology information, location information, and timing information. The electrophysiology and location information can be used to generate the electrophysiology map, such as a local activation time, peak-to-peak voltage, or fractionation map. Animated timing markers can be superimposed upon the electrophysiology map using the electrophysiology, location, and timing information. For example a series of frames can be displayed sequentially, each including a static image of the electrophysiology map at a point in time and timing markers corresponding to the state or position of an activation wavefront at the point in time superimposed thereon. The visibility or opacity of the timing markers can be adjusted from frame to frame, dependent upon a distance between the timing marker and the activation wavefront, to give the illusion that the timing markers are moving along the electrophysiology map.
