Abstract: An access point is identified based on a plurality of pilot signatures. Here, in addition to transmitting a pilot signal that is encoded (e.g., spread/scrambled) using a particular pilot signature, an access point transmits a message that includes at least one indication of at least one other pilot signature. For example, an access point may use one PN offset to generate a pilot signal and transmit a message that identifies at least one other PN offset. An access terminal that receives the pilot signal and the message may then generate a pilot report that identifies all of these pilot signatures. Upon receiving a handover message including this pilot-related information, a target network entity with knowledge of the pilot signatures assigned to that access point may then accurately identify the access point as a target for handover of the access terminal.

In some embodiments, methods for logging phone calls are provided, the methods comprise: causing a phone call to a client to be made; creating at least one note based on received user input; transmitting information about the phone call and the created note to the first server; causing the information and the note to be stored in association with the client by the first server; causing the information about the phone call and the note to be transmitted from the first server to a second server, wherein the information and the note are stored in an electronic medical record on the second server that is associated with the client; receiving an analysis of phone calls associated with the client over a period of time; and causing the analytical information to be presented based on the received analysis.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for transmitting media data using social intimacy. The apparatus and method can calculate a social intimacy level for a plurality of previously stored terminal information, request at least one terminal of transmitting terminal information according to a media transmission request, and when receiving the requested terminal information from at least one terminal, transmit the media data to a terminal where the terminal information equals the received terminal information among terminal information having higher social intimacy, thereby sharing the media data with people forming a higher social intimacy with a user.
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and user equipment for reporting a handover scenario judgment parameter and a base station for a handover scenario judgment; the method includes: an uplink message transmitted by the User Equipment (UE) includes an Evolved Cell Global Identifier (ECGI) so that a network side performs a handover scenario judgment based on the ECGI, wherein the uplink message is a message that includes Radio Link Failure (RLF)-related measurement information, or the uplink message is a message that includes an indication of RLF-related measurement information. Therefore, the disclosure enables an accurate handover scenario judgment, thus avoiding the problem in the related art that the error rate of a handover scenario judgment is high.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices that classify mobile messages and associated mobile message senders are presented. A communication network can comprise a message abuse detector component (MADC) that evaluates a mobile message, for example, labeled as abusive in an abuse report. The MADC can evaluate information relating to the abuse report, wherein the evaluations can include an abuse-report-hash-ratio, an abuse-report-sender-ratio, correlation of mobile message content to known spam content or non-spam content, and/or evaluation of reputation of the mobile message sender or abuse report sender, etc. Based at least in part on the evaluation, the MADC can classify mobile message as spam, subscription related, or as another type of mobile message, and can identify, select, and execute (e.g., automatically) a desired abuse management action(s) based at least in part on the evaluation and predefined message abuse criteria.
Abstract: A system for effecting special treatment of emergency calls originating from a temporarily designated region; emergency calls originating from the region ordinarily being routed to a first emergency answering position. The system includes: (a) a geographic mapper; (b) a polygon manager coupled with the geographic mapper; at least one of the geographic mapper and the polygon manager unit being coupled with an emergency network handling the emergency calls; the polygon manager and the geographic mapper cooperating to effect designation of the region; and (c) a call routing unit coupled with the emergency network and coupled with at least one of the geographic mapper and the polygon manager. The call routing unit provides alternate call routing of the emergency calls originating in the region substantially while the region is designated to at least one other emergency answering position than the first emergency answering position.

Abstract: A communication system, femto cell, and clustering and handover method of the same are provided. The method includes storing identity information and customer information for a plurality of femto base stations, generating, when location information of the corresponding femto base stations are received, at least one cluster including at least one of the femto base stations according to the customer information and location information, sharing the identity information of the corresponding femto base station in the cluster. The method is capable of supporting handover between femto base stations so as to secure reliable communication service connectivity for the terminal on the move.
Abstract: A system includes a first base station of a first vendor configuration and a second base station of a second vendor configuration. A link is between the first and second base stations. The first base station is configured to receive at least one interference indicator message from the second base station, and schedule transmission of data based on the at least one interference indicator message. Scheduling the transmission of data includes determining whether to transmit the data using a current resource or to delay transmission of the data.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices that identify abusive mobile messages and associated abusive mobile communication device users are presented. A core network can comprise a message abuse detector component (MADC) that can selectively or randomly monitor or sample mobile messages communicated in the core network. The MADC can evaluate origination and destination address information and can identify abusive mobile messages and associated abusive mobile message senders based at least in part on the respective address information and predefined message abuse criteria. The MADC also can distinguish between spam mobile messages, subscription mobile messages, harassing mobile messages, and other mobile messages, and can identify and implement a desired response (e.g., automated response) to the abusive mobile message.
Abstract: A control method for H(e)NB access and a H(e)NB gateway are provided in the present invention. The method includes the following steps: a H(e)NB gateway interacting with a Broadband Policy Control Framework (BPCF) through a H(e)NB policy function, and requesting for the admission control of a fixed broadband access network; the BPCF returning the result of the admission control to the H(e)NB gateway through the H(e)NB policy function. Abstract: A system and method for viewing a target in a background from a user's perspective. In one form, the views are selectable by the user on, for example, a GPS equipped cell phone, to include a view from the participant's position, zoom, pan, and tilt views, or views from another geographic location, giving increased situational awareness and identification of the target. Other information can be conveyed, such as messages or advertisements, on a billboard, which may be a geo-referenced area on or near the target. Preferably, an orientation mechanism shows when the device is correctly pointed to a target.
Abstract: A microphone (130) is fitted with a mounting portion (130a) of a front case (12) in a state being set to a microphone folder (134). A metallic mesh-wise sheet (132) is attached to a front face of the microphone. When an EL sheet (110) on a rear face of the front case emits light by supplying power to it, electrical noise is radiated from the EL sheet. The mesh-wise sheet of the front face of the microphone blocks the electrical noise from the EL sheet, which may enter through a sound hole (131) to the inside of the microphone.
Abstract: In systems and methods of providing a notification message in a wireless communication system, a message notifier is received at a processing node in wireless communication system based on a first message from a sender. The message notifier comprises sender information. The sender information is matched to a contact entry of the recipient to generate a matching criteria. Based on the matching criteria a paging channel power is determined for a notification message to be sent to the recipient wireless device.
Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus for processing a service message with multiple terminals are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a request message from a terminal, where the request message carries request information of the terminal; and sending a service message to the terminal according to the request information. When a user has multiple terminals, the PPG selects a specific terminal for receiving an incoming service according to the SUBSCRIBE request of the terminal and the terminal request information carried in the SUBSCRIBE request. When a service arrives, the service message is sent to the selected terminal, thus avoiding sending of the service message to all terminals of the user.
Abstract: A method of transmitting and receiving data between a mobile terminal and a display device is provided. The method establishes network connection for communication with the mobile terminal, detects a touch location of the mobile terminal when the mobile terminal touches the display device, transmits and receives data to and from the mobile terminal over the connected network, and processes the transmitted and received data according to the detected touch location of the mobile terminal.
