  • Patent number: 9565303
Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium for abbreviated dialing in a femtocell network is provided. A user having authorized access to the femtocell network may dial another authorized user using an abbreviated code. On receipt of the call request, a femtocell system may evaluate the destination number to determine if it is an abbreviated code. If the dialed number is not an abbreviated code, the femtocell system may direct the call request to the telecommunication core network for processing thereby. If the dialed number is evaluated by the femtocell system as an abbreviated code, the femtocell system may direct the call request to an on-site PBX for call handling. If the abbreviated code is a valid code and the dialed user equipment is currently in the femtocell network service area, the PBX may then complete the call setup within the femtocell network.

  • Patent number: 9456338
Abstract: A smart phone carried by a user being aboard a vehicle transmits an automatic Virtual Network Computing (VNC) request that is a request of a remote manipulation based on a trigger event that arises when a short range wireless communication is established with an in-vehicle apparatus in the vehicle. Further, the smart phone transmits a manual VNC request at the time when a manipulation for a VNC request is performed by a user. In contrast, the in-vehicle apparatus uses, as a start condition of starting a VNC connection, a reception of the automatic VNC request from a smart phone that is registered as a target of remote manipulation. In particular, when a plurality of smart phones are registered, the in-vehicle apparatus adds a reception of the manual VNC request from a smart phone into the start condition.

  • Patent number: 9398521
Abstract: When MME receives Handover required from source eNB/HeNB which contains CSG ID, it verifies whether the CSG subscription data it stores is fresh or expired. If it is expired, or if MME does not have any association data for UE, MME retrieves the latest CSG subscription data from HSS. MME rewrites its stored CSG subscription data with the one retrieved from HSS, if they are different. MME performs access control for the UE according to the CSG ID received from Handover required message and its CSG subscription data. When the access control is failed, a new message List Update Indication is proposed to be sent from source eNB/HeNB to UE. In order to indicate what caused the failure, an appropriate cause in the message is proposed. Upon receiving the message, UE updates its stored CSG whitelist, such that the CSG subscription data in UE and MME are synchronized.

  • Patent number: 9357449
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method between a terminal and a network during an inter PLMN (public land mobile network) handover in a mobile communication network that shares an E-UTRAN (evolved universal terrestrial radio access network), and a mobile communication system thereof. According to the present invention, the terminal performs E-UTRAN registration through a base station (eNB) and an MME (MME), updates a routing area, activates ISR (idle state signaling reduction), receives a handover command to the previous PLMN or another PLMN and transmits a location update request message to the MME while the handover is being executed. As such, a communication disconnect or any authentication or security failure during the inter PLMN handover of the terminal can be avoided.
