Abstract: Methods and systems for improving data back-up, recovery, and search across different cloud-based applications, services, and platforms are described. A data management and storage system may direct compute and storage resources within a customer's cloud-based data storage account to back-up and restore data while the customer retains full control of their data. The data management and storage system may direct the compute and storage resources within the customer's cloud-based data storage account to generate and store secondary layers that are used for generating search indexes, to generate and store shared space layers and user specific layers to facilitate the deduplication of email attachments and text blocks, to perform a controlled restoration of email snapshots such that sensitive information (e.g., restricted keywords) located within stored snapshots remains protected, and to detect and preserve emails that were received or transmitted and then deleted between two consecutive snapshots.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods to use modeling techniques to identify gradual changes in various metrics identified as a result of analyzing an aggregated transaction dataset. In one method, a computer model dynamically slice the data using an attribute, calculates an entropy value for using a rolling time window, and uses the entropy value to identify anomalous behavior. The model may use information gain to determine whether to further segmented the data slice into smaller data slices. The model may iteratively slice and analyze the data until a data slice corresponding to the root cause is determined. The model may then traverse the hierarchy of data slices and combine the data slices until an optimized combined data slice. The model may train a machine learning component, such as a booted tree algorithm, to optimize its traversal of the hierarchy of data slices.

Abstract: Case fragment management includes obtaining a case model definition for a case, and generating a case model from the case model definition. Generating the case model includes obtaining a case fragment expression, executing the case fragment expression using data gathered from a data source to obtain a case fragment identifier, selecting, from multiple case fragments, a case fragment corresponding to the case fragment identifier, and populating the case model with the case fragment. Case fragment management also includes storing the case model.

Abstract: Methods for enhancing compatibility of a document of an entity with an organization's database on a computer server to facilitate detection of a fraudulent submission. Methods may include receiving a populated document in a first format from the entity, using a processor to digitize the document into a digital format, such as bytes, and further into a second format, where the first format may not be compatible with the database and the second format may be compatible with the database. Methods may include using the processor, optionally running a statistical model, to determine an entity identifier, a predicted value of a data field in the document, and whether there is a difference between the value in the predicted data field and a corresponding value in the populated document. Methods may include implementing a corrective action, such as raising a fraud alert at the organization, when there is a difference.

Abstract: A method for identifying a process includes storing formatted data, generating aggregated traces by preprocessing the formatted data, encoding each of the aggregated traces using a respective atomic word, generating a subset of aggregated traces by compressing the aggregated traces, clustering the subset of aggregated traces, and labeling the clusters. A system includes a processor and a memory including instructions that when executed cause the system to store formatted data, generate traces, encode the traces to an atomic word, generate a subset traces, cluster the subset traces, and label the clusters. Abstract: A system for indexing, updating, and search haplotypes for genetic genealogical discovery in genotype databases. The system includes a pool of genetic indexes, a haplotype ingestion engine, and a haplotype query engine. The haplotypes of a number of individuals in a genotype database are indexed by a pool of multiple panels, and each panel pool can be dynamically updated by the insertion or deletion of individual haplotypes. A genetic genealogical search of a query haplotype against the database is achieved by first projecting the query onto a subset of panels in the pool, then conducting long match queries over each panel, and finally aggregating the identified long matches into Identical-by-Descent segments, i.e., DNA matches, between the query and the haplotypes in the database.

Abstract: Methods, systems and applications for updating, enhancing, organizing, and utilizing geographic maps, for locating points of interest and places of businesses, or POI's. Embodiments provide a method for collecting geo-coordinate data on POIs by eliciting participation of the business owners or designated employees to identify the specific locations of POI's on a map; a map program which synchronizes to a centralized database where POI and other more frequently changing and time-dependent map information is downloaded to individual users; a map program, where in addition to the standard contact information, “qualitative” information and website links are included in an POI information box to aid in pre-qualifying a POI before selection and in booking a reservation; a method for locating markers on an Internet-based search engine map; and an improved contact management system that allows locations of contacts to be viewed on a map while minimizing address geocoding.

Relevant profiles can be determined based on the export mechanism, destination or type of content. The system can display metadata for user modification. The content can include photos, videos or other content. The user can selectively modify metadata of selected content.

A data connector component may be instantiated as a container for processing management requests associated with backup data stored within an object store as an object according to an object format. A management request associated with the backup data may be received by the data connector component. A structure associated with the object having the object format may be traversed by the data connector component to identify the backup data. The data connector component may be implemented upon the backup data stored within the object.

Abstract: Systems and methods for query processing are described. Embodiments of the present disclosure identify an original query; generate a plurality of expanded queries by generating a plurality of additional phrases based on the original query using a causal language model (CLM) and augmenting the original query with each of the plurality of additional phrases, respectively; and provide a plurality of images in response to the original query, wherein the plurality of images are associated with the plurality of expanded queries, respectively.

Abstract: Techniques describes herein updating pipeline flows in within data systems to maintain data integrity and consistency without manual curation. In certain embodiments, data integration system may detect and/or receive indications of a schema change within a source system of the data integration system. One or more data objects affected by the schema change may be identified, and a set of pipeline rules may be invoked for each of the affected schema changes. The pipeline rules may define a single transformation or a multi-step transformation process by which the data in the source system is provided to one or more target systems. After applying the pipeline rules to the updated source schema, the data received from the source system may be processed using the updated pipeline rules, transformed, and transmitted to the target system(s) to maintain the data integrity of the system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to methods and systems for the automated processing of database records on a system of record based on results of a dynamic query session. More specifically, one or more templates can be defined. Each template can relate to a pre-defined condition of one or more records of the plurality of records and can define a dynamic query session related to the one or more records and one or more actions directed to the one or more records. The records can be monitored for an occurrence of the pre-defined condition on at least one record. In response to detecting the occurrence of the pre-defined condition on the at least one record, the dynamic query session related to the at least one record can be launched and the one or more actions can be initiated based on results of the dynamic query session.

Abstract: A personal data distribution management system includes source data management devices, a data distribution management device, and a relay processing device that are separate devices and are connected on a network. The source data management device includes a database that stores personal data on an individual subjected to a measurement with a measuring instrument, and attribute information related to the individual and the measurement, the database storing the personal data and the attribute information as original data associated with real name information on the individual. The data distribution management device fetches original data except for personal data, and creates a data catalog. The relay processing device outputs the data, which is the data except for real name information on individuals and from the database of each source data management device based on the data usage request received from the outside, to a data user terminal.

Abstract: A web crawling solution is presented for automatically prioritizing web crawling according to crawling policies. Web page wrappers are automatically created and updated using XPath expressions and web page analysis algorithms. Crawling is implemented using parallel queues converging into a single prioritized queue taking into account web site reputation and influence and also exploiting content, comments and metadata from social media, blogs and other sources. The crawled news content is clustered according to similarity and thematic summaries are created before serving the results.
