Abstract: A transport pocket for transporting an article in an overhead conveyor includes a suspension element by which the transport pocket can be suspended from the overhead conveyor, a pocket body having a front wall, a rear wall and a base therebetween, where the front wall has an opening, and a lever element by which the pocket body can be switched between at least two positions in which the front wall and the rear wall assume different relative vertical positions. In a first of the at least two positions, the opening is at a suitable distance from a deepest point of the pocket body for securely housing the article in the pocket body and, in a second of the at least two positions, the opening reaches the deepest point of the pocket body so that the article is able to slide out of the pocket body through the opening.

Abstract: A shaft holding device comprises a body that has a top and a bottom and a central axis extending between the top and the bottom. A length of the body measured along the central axis is larger than a largest dimension measured perpendicular to the central axis. A plurality of slots is formed by the body and each is configured to releasably secure a shaft therein. Each of the plurality of slots has an axis spaced from and generally parallel with the central axis. Each of the plurality of slots is open along a side of the body and, for each cross section along the length of the body taken about a plane perpendicular to the central axis, each inner circumferential width of an opening of each of the plurality of slots is smaller than a diameter of each of the plurality of slots.

Abstract: A storage and transport container, in an unassembled state, is composed of a single-piece container blank having a bottom, foldable side and end walls and four corner flaps foldable inwardly at the side walls or the end walls. Respective turnover rims are integrally formed on the side walls and the end walls so that when the turnover rims are folded over, a stacking profile having a hook rim can be attached over the same. Four corner pieces are provided, wherein each corner piece has a base body having an upper stacking rim. Two insertion profiles are integrally formed on the base body, each having an angled profile section at the front end. The angled profile section positively fits in a respective profile recess of the side walls and the end walls. The stacking profiles extend over the insertion profiles flush against the stacking rim.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a baby bottle apparatus, comprising: a nipple (11); a liquid container (12); a flexible tube (17) connecting the nipple to the container; a normally-closed valve, for controlling the flow of fluid from the container (12) to the nipple (11); at least one lever (13), for opening the valve for fluid passage from the container to the nipple; thereby allowing a user to control fluid flow from the baby bottle apparatus. Preferably, the mechanism for limiting the distance between the parallel bars comprising a rotatable ring (15) having a different outer diameter therealong, such that a movement of each of the levers (13) is limited by the ring (15).

Abstract: A free-standing liner unit (1) is formed by integrating a planar outer tank liner plate (2), a planar secondary barrier plate (3), and a cold insulator layer (4) that is interposed between the outer tank liner plate (2) and the secondary barrier plate (3) into a single unit. According to this free-standing liner unit (1), when building a tank, it is possible to shorten the construction period by performing the formation of the outer tank shell plates and the formation of the tank internal structure concurrently with each other, and to achieve an improvement in the handleability of the free-standing liner unit (1).

Abstract: A tray system includes a first tray having a plurality of stacking units. In one embodiment, each stacking unit forms a lower receptacle for receiving a neck portion of a first bottle, and an upper receptacle for receiving a base portion of a second bottle to be stacked above the first bottle. The lower receptacle has a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a sidewall connecting the first end with the second end. The first end forms an opening for receiving a neck of a first bottle into the lower receptacle. The sidewall has a taper that prevents racking. The tray system may also include a second tray and a pallet.

Abstract: A shock-proof mineral container and mounting structure thereof, which provides a heat insulation container with a liner formed using mineral material. The liner is provided with shock-proof protection and a mounted assembly structure. During the process of assembling the single ended suspended configuration, a blocking member having an elastic effect is inter-connected between an annular neck configured on the mineral liner and an upper link opening joined to an outer cylinder, and the elastic strain of the blocking member is used to absorb shock waves occasionally produced by an external force when carrying the container, thereby safeguarding the structural safety of the hard and brittle mineral liner. In addition, the structure is supplemented with a cylinder liner, which adds to the heat insulation capacity of the container and maintains the stability of the mineral liner.

Abstract: An extendable luggage comprises a first shell having a first opening edge, a second shell having a second opening edge, an inner zipper, an outer zipper and an inner strap. The inner zipper has outer teeth located at a first and second distance away from the first and second opening edge, respectively. The outer zipper has two outer tapes and outer teeth. Each outer tape has a straight section, a head section and a tail section. The outer teeth located at distal ends of the two head sections and two tail sections are closed and unable to be opened. The outer teeth located at the two straight sections are located at a third distance away from the first opening edge and a fourth distance away from the second opening edge. The inner strap is connected with two ends of the inner zipper. The luggage looks simple and is extendable.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of an object-securable article-carrier clip apparatus comprise a grip subassembly, and an object securement subassembly for robustly securing the grip subassembly to an object such as a piece of luggage. The grip subassembly has a mouth portion configured to grippingly retain an article, such as a garment, and may include an auxiliary support portion to supportingly receive a supportive component of the article, such as a coat hanger or bag strap. The auxiliary support portion may feature an article support groove with an opening opposite of the mouth portion. A luggage item with extendable handle may have a clip apparatus permanently affixed to the handle, and the grip subassembly may be at least partially received by a recess in the handle. An article-carrier kit may include a clip apparatus, and an article strap subsystem to further secure the article to the object during transport of the object.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a more efficient chafing dish basin or Bain Marie for the hotel/catering and hospitality industry, that has a first exterior basin with a heating element, a second basin comprising an insulating base, one or more heat conductive layers and a third food basin. The first exterior basin has a heating element that extends through the insulation base, and heat conductive layer(s) to contact the bottom of the food basin. The heating element can be heated by naked flames or electrically. Sufficient heat is transferred to the food basin to obviate the need for water or allows for significantly less water to be used, increasing the safety profile of these chafing dishes.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to an article of luggage having a coupling interface with a plurality of support points to engage a dynamic volume receptacle (DVR). In an illustrative example, the DVR having a predetermined capacity may releasably couple to the plurality of the support points when inserted through an auxiliary aperture to form a barrier between contents inserted into a primary chamber of the luggage and contents inserted into an auxiliary chamber of the DVR. The DVR may include a capacity adjuster to permit a user to modify the predetermined capacity of the DVR. Advantageously, a user may modify the predetermined capacity prior to insertion of the DVR into the primary chamber. In some implementations, the DVR may protect the contents in the primary chamber against moisture from wet contents in the DVR, for example.

Abstract: A fuel tank in a vehicle. The fuel tank includes a protective outer shell, an inner shell and a crush sleeve. The protective outer shell defines an outer tank. The inner shell defines an inner tank which holds fuel. The inner shell is housed in the outer shell and is isolated from the outer shell by a space. The crush sleeve is provided in the space between the outer shell and the inner shell. The crush sleeve supports the inner shell and maintains the inner shell in position relative to the outer shell. Wherein during an impact to the vehicle, the force of the impact causes the outer shell and the crush sleeve to deform and the inner shell to move relative to the outer shell.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating hygienic storage and disposal of waste packages such as used disposable diapers include a housing, a lid, and a bag unit having a bag frame and an attached single use flexible bag. The flexible bag is pleated and larger in cross-section at a lower portion than it is at the connection to the bag frame. The bag frame is releasably mounted to the housing so that it will not rotate. The lower portion of the flexible bag is positioned in a storage chamber of the housing that is shaped so as to align and center the bag. A rotatable member having radially extending flexible fingers is engaged with an intermediate portion of the bag. When the lid is closed, the rotatable member will twist the intermediate portion of the bag, sealing odors in the lower portion of the bag. A parent or caregiver will push the waste package through the resistance of the twisted intermediate portion into the lower portion of the bag, and close the lid to re-seal the twisted portion.

At least one wheel can be positioned on the shape defining framework such that when the article of luggage is moved from a standing position to a towing position, the wheel(s) enables the article of luggage to roll along the ground in the direction it is being towed.
