Abstract: A novel order processing in a shop side computer that carries out online sales of goods and the like is realized by this invention. In the shop side computer, upon receiving an order request from a customer terminal, content information of the customer order is registered, and an identification number of the customer order and a shop code are transmitted to a settlement system. Next, upon receiving the identification number of the customer order and an operation key from the settlement system, the content information of the customer order is read out according to the identification number of the customer order, and the content information of the customer order, the operation key, and the shop authentication information are transmitted to the settlement system. After that, upon receiving information indicating that the acceptance of the customer order is possible from the settlement system, information indicating the acceptance of the order is stored for the customer order.
Abstract: A point-of-sale interface receives point-of-sale quantities for a number of individual items, as well as point-of-sale quantity for a miscellaneous group item that includes undifferentiated sales of one or more of the individual items. An item indexer calculates an item index for each individual item comprising a fraction of the miscellaneous group item sales attributable to the individual item. A sales disambiguator computes a revised point-of-sale quantity for each individual item using the item index and the point-of-sale quantities for the miscellaneous group item and the individual item.

Abstract: A method, software and apparatus are provided which enable promotion of products and services in a deterministic manner free of conflicting actions modifying raw ranking data based on merchants interests. For this purpose, an information consolidator is provided to obtain search results for a plurality of sources including directly from merchants. When a shopper enters a set of key words in an entry field in an on-screen form for a web server to obtain a list of items (products and/or services) of interest to the shopper, the documents describing the items can be prioritized by the information provided by the information source based on the web sites owner's priorities. The information consolidator receives ranking information taking the highest ranked products and obtains the product information for the most highly ranked products. The information consolidator then reranks the products using a preferred ranking algorithm to remove information sources biases in this ranking of the products.

Abstract: A structure for mounting a hydraulic damper to a vehicle body is provided. The damper has a first end and a second end. The vehicle includes a vehicle frame that has a first bracket connected to the first end and an axle that has a second bracket connected to the second end. The axle is arranged to be pivotal with respect to the frame. The damper changes its length based on a swinging action of the axle. The first bracket has a first support hole. The second bracket has a second support hole. The first end has a first through hole and the second end has a second through hole. The first end and the second end of the damper are rotatably connected with the first bracket and the second bracket, respectively, by a shaft extending through at least one of the support holes and the associated through hole in a rotatable manner about its axis.
Abstract: A portable storage container includes a top-open container body equipped with wheels and a retractable handle, and a container cover hinged to the container body and equipped with a carrying handle, the container cover having a bottom packing frame holding a heat insulative member adapted to close the opened top side of the container body, enabling the container body to be maintained in an air tight condition, and a plurality of top open chambers covered with a respective lift cover for keeping small items.
Abstract: A fork blade for a bicycle front fork includes a lower cylindrical casing, an upper cylindrical casing having a reduced bottom end inserted into the lower cylindrical casing, a forked tip member welded to the lower cylindrical casing at the bottom, a double end screw rod having a top end screwed up with locknuts to hold a buffer spring above a hollow screw member being fastened to the bottom end of the upper cylindrical casing and a bottom end connected to the forked tip member, a shock spring retained between the hollow screw member and the forked tip member, wherein the forked tip member has a circular upright wall welded to the inside wall of the lower cylindrical casing at the bottom and welding holes through the circular upright wall into which the melted metal for joining the forked tip member and the lower cylindrical casing fills.
Abstract: A pair of wheel assemblies adapted to attach to the rear legs of a folding lawn chair so that the chair can be used to transport heavy or bulky items from a car to a picnic site. The cargo is carried on the seat of the chair. The chair can be used for conventional seating purposes with the wheels in position ready for operation. The wheels are brought into contact with the ground by tipping the chair rearward. Each wheel assembly can be rotated about the axis of its associated leg and locked into a plurality of positions, including the position in which, for stacking and storage purposes, the wheel lays flat against the plane of the chairs rear leg assembly.
Abstract: A wheeled tire truck is provided for installing, removing and transporting rim-mounted tires for vehicles. The truck comprises an elongated body section and extended fork section supported by a transverse axle having wheels at either end bracketing the body. The body includes a handle section extending opposite the fork section to terminate in a grip, and the fork section extends opposite the handle for straddling the tire on either side of its center of gravity and beneath its tread. The tire rests against the handle portion and separate tire rests over each wheel, and the tire may be transported by balancing the weight of the tire on the wheels while pushing on the grip.
Abstract: A footrest holder for a motorcycle comprising two mounting plates for attachment to a vehicle frame, of the motorcycle, an arm extending therefrom for supporting a gearshift or brake lever on its free end, the arm being pivotable about an axis at right angles to the swivel axis of the arm, the arm being formed by a continuous rod which carries the plates, and at least one of the plates is movably mountable on the rod.
Abstract: The invention suggests an unmanned radio-control automotive working machine for safely mowing grass and lawns on dangerous slopes, which includes a carriage on which a power source such as a gasoline engine, a traveling apparatus and a working apparatus of a grass cutter, a lawn mowing blade or the like and, more particularly, the structure of a traveling transmission mechanism of a traveling control apparatus in which a traveling brake functions without fail when a traveling clutch is neutral, and a differential-gear lock and the brake function to effect the braking operation quickly even if the working machine is on a steep slope, and the structure of a brake apparatus installed in a gear case of the traveling transmission. Thus, the invention achieves safety in radio-control operation, and size and weight reduction of the working machine.
