    Abstract: A multi-part, partially pre-printed form useful as an airbill has address information printed thereon by a non-impact printer. The form includes top and bottom transparent plastic sheets affixed together by an adhesive having three panels defined by perforation cuts through the top sheet and die cuts through the bottom sheet. The adhesive facing side of one of the sheets is preprinted with information appearing on each panel. In addition, a background opaque color is printed over the information on two outer panels, leaving the center panel transparent. The information pre-printed on the opaque panels having is in a mirror image format relative to the information pre-printed on the transparent panel. The address is printed on the outward side of the bottom sheet such that the address printed on the transparent panel is a mirror image relative to the information on outer panels. A four part form is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A slot opening key having a body member provided with a first, planar abutment surface and a second surface recessed with respect to the first surface and co-directional therewith. The body member is provided with a pair of spaced-apart prongs which are substantially parallel to one another. The first prong protrudes from the first surface, and the second prong is positioned such that it is spaced apart from the first prong by at least a portion of the second surface. A prong rotating lever is provided to eccentrically rotate one prong relative to the other to adjust the spacing therebetween. The slot opening key is used to facilitate removal and insertion of a cutting insert retained between a resilient clamping jaw and a rigid base jaw, by inserting the prongs into corresponding apertures in each jaw, and actuating the rotating lever. The second surface between the first and second prongs provides clearance so that the key body remains clear of the insert during insertion and removal.

Each page will have two header items (words) indexing range of the items (words) located in the page. The pages in the sub-section is sited so that the header items of each page is just above the header items of the previous page. Locating a word in done through two or three steps. First locating the section, then locating the sub-section (whenever applicable), and finally locating the page. This is done by browsing the header items (words) on each page.

In use, the preventer means and components of the pocket prevent the inserted supplemental material from unintentionally sliding out of the pocket. The external periphery of the pipe generally consisting of a hard zone which is being cut by a slower cutting speed and said cutting speed is increased once said hard zone has been fully traversed by the cutting tools mounted on the cutting head.

A spring is mounted on the slidable block for engaging and adjustably press the spiral binding element on the mandrel so that the upper portion of the binding element is spaced from the top of the mandrel.

    Abstract: Short parts are detected on machines where bar stock is fed through one or more work spindles and held in a burring spindle during cut off. The burring spindle contains a sensing rod biased towards the front of the burring spindle and adapted to contact a finished part on the end of the bar stock as the burring spindle moves on to the stock if the part has the proper length. This moves the sensing rod back, with respect to the burring spindle, and a target on the end of the sensing rod enters the sensing field of a proximity sensor. If the burring spindle moves onto a short part, the sensing rod is not moved by the design amount and the target disc does not enter the sensing field of the proximity sensor. The sensor then initiates a short part signal.

    Abstract: A card has a printed face, a back, and a fold line which divides the card into a main portion and a flap which is foldable over the fold line so that the back of the flap is flush with the back of the main portion and the face of the card has the shape and appearance of a conventional business card. An adhesive layer is disposed on the back of the card so that with the flap open the adhesive may be exposed and the card removably adhered to a smooth vertical surface, juxtaposing the face of the flap and an auxiliary message printed upon the same with the face of the main portion. Removal of the card from the surface and either folding of the flap or separation of the same from the main portion converts the card back to one which has a face that has the shape and appearance of a conventional business card.
