Abstract: An electronic device for use with a network device, includes: a memory, having stored therein, a first and second set of threshold weighted metric values and a remediation suggestion; and a processor configured to execute instructions stored on the memory to cause the electronic device to: obtain a first of metric values associated with a first set of metrics, respectively, within a first metric category of the network device; provide a first set of weighting factors for the first set of metric values, respectively; determine a first set of weighted metric values associated with the first set of metric values, respectively, and being based on the first set of metric values and the first set of weighting factors; and perform a remediation operation associated with the remediation suggestion when the first metric category score is lower than a first metric category score threshold.

Abstract: A method comprises acquiring anomaly data including a plurality of anomalies detected from streaming data, wherein each of the anomalies relates to an entity on or associated with a computer network. The method determines a risk score of each of the anomalies, and adjusts the risk score of an anomaly according to a set of factors. The method further determines, for each of a plurality of sliding time windows of different lengths, an entity score of the entity in relation to the sliding time window, based on an aggregation of risk scores of all anomalies related to the entity that were detected within the sliding time window, where the entity score corresponds to a risk level associated with the entity. An action to prevent the entity from performing an operation can be determined and caused to occur based on the entity score.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media that may be used to provide an adaptive user interface with a reduced data transmission payload are provided. One method includes identifying a plurality of data files available for transmission to a client device, each of the plurality of data files transmitted as a set of data packets having a payload comprising an amount of data, each of the plurality of data files having different payloads and causing the client device to display a respective user interface component within a user interface on the client device. The method further includes determining a property of the client device and/or a user associated with the client device and selecting a data file from among the plurality of data files in response to the property. The method further includes causing the selected data file to be transmitted to the client device.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for autonomous firewall rule management, for use with cloud computing environments or other types of network environments. A firewall rule management automation framework provides rule management for firewalls deployed across availability domains. The system is adapted to automatically determine firewalls that can receive network traffic from a given source subnet or destination subnet; configure the firewalls with required firewall rules; monitor the firewall rules through collection of metrics snapshots and rule hit counts; and purge underused or potentially obsolete firewall rules, for example those having zero hits over a particular period of time or number of snapshots. The system provide generic support for different types of firewall devices, and autonomous management of firewall rules within large heterogeneous computer networks that may include several types of firewalls.

Abstract: A firewall intelligence system, includes a data storage storing a set of firewall rules for a network; a recommendation engine that receives, from a log service, traffic logs detailing traffic for the network and firewall logs detailing the usage of firewall rules in response to the traffic for the network, accesses, from the data storage, the set of firewall rules for the network; processes the set of firewall rules to evaluate the firewall rules against a set of quantitative evaluation rules to determine one or more firewall rule recommendations, wherein each firewall rule recommendation is a recommendation to change at least one of the firewall rules in the set of firewall rules; and a front end API that provides data describing the one or more firewall rule recommendations to a user device.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for a content display located in the chat messaging system. It facilitates communication between at least a first and a second user and further enables content sending in a more efficient and faster way. This disclosure enables users to work with complimentary and different real-time communication systems and enables the display of interactive elements presenting objects in an application. Such display may be personalized and lead to external sources like a web page or other catalog of data with further explanation necessary to purchase or order. Furthermore, the disclosure improves the storage of content that will be displayed upon a frequency of usage and distribute such storage upon two types of memory that communicate over the network.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computing system for use in a clustered storage system are provided. Embodiments may include providing, using a management network, one or more of external access to the clustered storage system, management of intra-cluster traffic, management of hypervisor traffic, and access to infrastructure services. Embodiments may further include allowing, using a storage network, access to the clustered storage system from within the clustered storage system and one or more external hosts. Embodiments may also include providing a migration network to allow for mobility of one or more virtual machines within clustered storage system. Embodiments may further include splitting the management network into a public management network and an internal intra-cluster management network.

Abstract: A network device is provisioned with a first data model of a first type and that models first properties for the network device, a second data model of a second type and that models second properties for the network device, and mappings that indicate mapped first properties among the first properties that are mapped to mapped second properties of the second properties. Upon receiving a request from a network for data for the first data model, the network device retrieves first data for the first properties of the first data model. The network device determines, based on the mappings, unmapped second properties of the second properties that are not mapped to any of the first properties. The network device retrieves, as dynamically augmented data, data for the unmapped second properties. The network device sends a request response including the first data and the dynamically augmented data.

Abstract: A spreadsheet template control of data flow and process for moving and retrieving between at least one source node/device and at least one target node/device in a network environment, is disclosed herein. At least one metadata definition an at least one processing rule can be retrieved from an import process spreadsheet file in order to thereby pull/receive a data element from at least one source node/device in an enterprise network environment. Further, at least one metadata and at least one rule can be retrieved from a transform process spreadsheet file in order to thereby covert, cleanse and collate the data element into a data store of transformed data. Finally, at least one metadata and at least one rule is retrieved from an export process spreadsheet file for pushing the transformed data into at least one target node/device in the network environment.

Abstract: A TOE component obtains a first storage address, where the first storage address is an address of a first storage block in a memory, the first storage block stores a target TCP packet, and the target TCP packet includes a packet header and a TCP payload. The TOE component obtains the packet header from the first storage block based on the first storage address. The TOE component performs TCP-related protocol processing based on the packet header, where the TCP payload is not read out of the first storage block by the TOE component when the TOE component performs TCP-related protocol processing based on the packet header.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of sharing a screen amongst at least two users participating in a real-time communication and collaboration session via a communication network can be configured so that a screen displaying a first content can be shared by a user of a first client so as to be displayed at at least a second client used by a second user. Embodiments of the method can include receiving, at a control unit for controlling the communication and collaboration session, coordinates specifying the position of an intended item of the first content of the shared screen and receiving, at the control unit, a screenshot of the intended item and a predetermined surrounding area as a sample picture or as sample pixels.

Abstract: A system for maintaining a state of a session of a network application across different client device is disclosed. A first client application establishes sessions of a user to a network application. Each of the sessions is accessed via a first embedded browser of a first client application. The first client application stores a state of the sessions to a workspace service in association with the user, and a context of the user to a workspace hub. A second client application establishes the sessions to the network application based on the state of the sessions obtained via the workspace service that are each accessed via a second embedded browser of the second client application. The second client application updates the state of the sessions to a second state based on detection of a state change and a context of the user obtained from the workspace hub.

Each of the multiple discrete memory spaces is governed by a scope policy defining a lifetime for data stored within the memory space. Abstract: A computer implemented cache management system and method is provided for use with a service provider configured to communicate with one or more client devices and with a content provider. The system includes a cache hierarchy comprising multiple cache levels that maintain at least some resources for the content provider, and one or more request managers for processing client requests for resources and retrieving the resources from the cache hierarchy. In response to a resource request, the request manager selects a cache level from the cache hierarchy based on a popularity associated with the requested resource, and attempts to retrieve the resource from the selected cache level while bypassing cache level(s) inferior to the selected level.
