Abstract: An enclosure for housing a personal computer includes a U-shaped base casing consisting of a bottom panel, a front panel, and a rear panel. The front and rear panels extend upward from front and rear edges of the bottom panel. Two side panels are assembled to the base casing from a top portion thereof and the top cover is attached to the base casing from a rear portion thereof.

Abstract: A computer desk consisting of an oblongated base; a chair having a seat, and a forward edge; a chair attaching column interconnecting the chair and the oblongated base so that the chair overlies the rearward end of the oblongated base; a support column having a hollow interior space fitted for receiving and retaining a personal computer central processing unit having a tower configuration; slide ridges and slide channels slidably attaching the support column to the oblongated base so that the support column extends upwardly from the upper surface of the oblongated base, and so that the support column may be slidably positioned along the longitudinal axis of the oblongated base; and a cantilevered desk top fixedly attached to or homogeneously fused with the upper end of the support column.

Abstract: A refrigerator having a door for loading/unloading goods to be stored into/from a chamber is comprised of a handle 20 provided at a front surface of the door 112 with a first end 24 of the handle 20 connected with the door 112 by a hinge 21, an air passage 30 formed at a predetermined area of the door 112 which corresponds opposite to a second end 26 of the handle 20 for receiving outside air at the onset of opening the door 20, a sealable member 40 which is connected to the second end 26 of the handle 20 and is inserted in the air passage 30, and the sealable member 40 blocks the air passage 30 when the door 112 is closed and opens the air passage 30 at the onset when the door 112 is opened, and a net shape support member 50 connected with a second end 26 of the sealable member 40 for enabling the sealable member 40 to be elongated when the door 112 is being opened.

Abstract: A drawer slide mounting bracket with a mounting tab and horizontal flanges extending from vertical arms. The mounting tab is inserted into an aperture in a vertical web of a drawer slide member and the horizontal flanges engage the slide member to securely attach the mounting bracket to the drawer slide member. The mounting tab is provided with a gusset to increase the strength of the mounting tab and to decrease the range of movement of the mounting tab in the aperture.

Abstract: A secure stowage system having first and second support members. The second support member is releasably attached to a support system such that the second support member can only be removed from the support system by first moving the second support member according to a predetermined adjustment. The first and second support members have receiving means. A lockable item is configured to fit between the first and second support members. The lockable item has a lock and first and second mating means. The first mating means are adapted to engage the receiving means of one of the first and second support members. The second mating means are likewise adapted to engage the receiving means of the other of the first and second support members. The first mating means are selectively retractable toward the lockable item, but only when the lock is in an unlocked position. The first mating means are unretractable when the lock is in a locked position.

Abstract: A pallet separator sheet is disclosure for placement between tiers of palletized cargo. The sheet inhibits movement of the cargo of a upper tier. The sheet protects the cargo of a lower tier and has a surface which grips the cargo of the lower tier. The separator sheet can include a first upper sheet of a stiff yet pliable first material having protrusions extending upwardly. A second lower sheet, preferable having cavities, is joined to a lower surface of the upper sheet so that the sheets are congruent. The second lower sheet having a greater coefficient of friction than the upper sheet. Separator sheet is generally rectangular and can have a lip extending at an angle to the main body of the separator sheet.

Abstract: A foot for stabilizing a case includes a circular mounting plate to be secured to the bottom of the case, and an elongate foot plate which has a longitudinal channel to receive the mounting plate. The foot plate is rotatable about the axis of the mounting plate, and the mounting plate is slidable along the foot plate. Therefore, the angle and position of the foot plate are adjustable relative to the mounting plate for accommodation on the space where the case is located.

Abstract: A collapsible table includes a tabletop having a center leaf, intermediate first and second end leaves. First and second pairs of support arms and support legs are pivotally mounted about an axle depending from the center leaf. The arms and legs of each pair are pivotal about the axle in opposed directions between a first collapsed position and a second functional position. The support arms at the second position position the leaves attached thereto in a coplanar relationship with the center leaf. At their functional position the support legs provide underlying support to the center leaf. Slots in the arms and legs engage a key depending from the center leaf so as to maintain the arms and legs at their functional positions. A spring bias on the axle further urges the slots against the key with the weight of the center leaf urging the key into the slots. Upon lifting the center leaf the keys disengage the slots which allows the arms and legs to pivot to their collapsed positions.

Abstract: A tray assembly for a refrigerator which is inserted into and withdrawn from a refrigerating compartment. The tray assembly has a tray which is slidably installed on a pair of guide members which are formed at both side walls of a refrigerating compartment, a vertical roller which is mounted on both end portions of the tray and makes contact with the guide members, a horizontal roller which is mounted at both sides of the tray and makes contact with a side wall of the refrigerator compartment. The tray assembly allows the tray to be more conveniently inserted into and withdrawn from the refrigerating compartment, thereby preventing a shakiness of the tray in the left and right directions while the tray is being inserted into or withdrawn from the refrigerating compartment.

Abstract: A cover for an article of furniture such as an umbrella table assembly or a chaise lounge, provides improved drainage. A portion of the cover associated with an umbrella pole is releasably secured to the pole and maintained in elevated position by the pole to provide a tent-like structure, which includes an annular peripheral skirt depending below the table top. Releasable fasteners for securing a cover to an article secure the cover on the article after the cover has been positioned on the article. The cover extends from the elevated portion at a first angle towards the table top. The cover is manufactured to provide surfaces that are inclined at an angle greater than the first angle when the cover is installed, so that the cover better sheds water and other debris.

Abstract: A lock-box for safely storing a handgun. The lock-box includes a receptacle having an opening at one end thereof and a locking door with a flange for closing the opening. A pair of mounting brackets are secured to each of the opposed sides of the receptacle. The mounting brackets are adapted for sliding engagement with a mounting plate which may be attached by threaded fasteners to a supporting surface. When a pair of mounting brackets are slid fully over the mounting plate, a portion of the mounting plate will remain adjacent the opening for positioning between the flange and the receptacle to prevent the removal of the receptacle from the mounting plate while the door is locked. Because the mounting bracket pairs are on the opposite sides of the receptacle, the lock-box can be flip-flopped to suit the needs of a user.

Abstract: In order to equip a dishwasher (1) with a machine base (10), on which a washing container (20) is arranged so as to be capable of being put down in position, in a simple way with a fastening for the washing container (20), said fastening being less complicated and therefore more cost-effective and having better stability, according to the invention the washing container (20) rests, on the rear side, on the upper edge (11) of the machine base (10).

Abstract: A portable prayer altar including an enclosure having an open rear wall facing the user. A padded kneeling mechanism is pivotally attached to the interior bottom wall and is movable between a lowered position for use, and a raised position for storage. A rotary air driven motor, in communication with an air compressor and air storage tank, is operably attached to the kneeling mechanism. An activation switch coupled to the motor is carried on the side wall of the enclosure and is readily accessible to the user.

Abstract: An inner liner is installed in an outer shell. A breaker panel assembly has four panels and four corners that form a rectangle. The assembly closes an insulation space around the front door opening between the liner and shell. Retainers on the panels engage the liner and shell. Retainers on the corners engage the panels an permit slight movements of the panels. Foam insulation is injected in the insulation space. The breaker assembly complements the inner door contour to minimize the air gap and exposed surface of the door gasket.

Abstract: A duplex pallet for the transport or storage of articles of the present invention has a deck surface easily switchable between a configuration matching with, e.g., the ISO (International Standards Organization) standards and a configuration matching with, e.g., JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards). While the deck surface is held in the configuration matching with the ISO standards, a hook and a contact guide are respectively released from a clamp post and a pallet body so as to release one longer edge of a movable deck from one shorter edge of the pallet body. Subsequently, the movable deck is rotated away from the pallet body by 90 degrees, then shifted inward, and then further rotated in the same direction by 180 degrees until the hook mates with another clamp post. At the same time, another contact guide is inserted into a space between an upper deck and a lower deck.

Abstract: A lightweight, high-strength support platform for use in furniture construction, which has superior structural integrity and can be used, by way of example, in portable folding tables, in work tables and in modular furniture of the character typically used in modern office complexes. The support platform which may be rectangular or non-rectangular embodies a novel structural reinforcement core of a unique configuration which is both lightweight and exhibits superior strength and durability characteristics. In one form of the invention, the support platform also includes a reinforcement beam which circumscribes the central portion of the reinforcement core and which is generally "I" shaped in cross section.

Abstract: A knock-down table comprises a top frame and attachable legs. The top frame comprises a horizontal surface with a lip about its perimeter, and walls depending downward from the underside of the top frame. An interchangeable table top is placed on the top frame within the confines of the lip. Each downward depending walls has a cutout at each top end corner to form a channel at each underside corner of the top frame. Extending downward from the top frame and in close proximity to each channel is a bolt assembly and a locator pin.A plurality of tapered, flanged legs that are roughly L-shaped in cross section are secured to each corner of the top frame by the bolt assemblies. The flanged legs are tapered so that the wider portions of the tapered legs each are proximate to the top frame and extend partially over the downward depending walls when assembled. Located at the top end of the flanged legs are plates, each having a slot and a guide hole therethrough.

Abstract: A folding leg mechanism for use in foldably interconnecting a foldable leg assembly with a support platform such as a table top. The mechanism includes platform engaging links; a platform engaging plate pivotally connected to the first and second links proximate the ends thereof; and first and second spaced-apart, leg-engaging links pivotally connected to the platform engaging links and to the leg assembly. Each of the leg engaging links has a rod receiving slot formed therein which includes a channel portion, a ramp portion located proximate one end of the channel portion and a locking opening disposed proximate the ramp portion. A locking rod extends between the platform engaging links with the end portion of the rod being slidably received within the channel portion of the slot formed in the leg engaging links. When the rod resides within the locking opening, the platform engaging links and the leg engaging links are locked against relative pivotal movement.

Abstract: A storage system for compact disks including a holder and a loose rail which is secured to the edge of a compact disk cassette. The rail is provided on the top side or at the end with a moulding which together with the moulding of the holder form a fixed and pivotal, respectively, connection. One or several engaging devices are provided on the bottom side of the rail, the engaging devices fitting in mating openings in the edge of the compact disk cassette. In this manner the existing openings in the compact disk cassette are utilized and accordingly the compact disk cassette need not be particularly formed.
