  • Patent number: 5944397
Abstract: A multi-door enclosure for housing electrical equipment has a mechanical interlock device that interacts with a main primary door of the enclosure and the existing latch mechanisms of each of the remaining secondary doors to prevent such secondary doors from being opened unless the primary door is first opened. The interlock includes a lever arm that engages and is displaced by the primary door when closed. Such movement of the lever arm is transmitted via a mechanical linkage system to move one or more latch disabling members into disabling relation with the latch mechanisms of each of the secondary doors in order to retain the latch mechanisms in their latched positions and thereby lock the secondary doors in the closed position. Opening the secondary door allows the lever arm to return to its initial position which in turn retracts the latching members and allows unlatching and opening of the secondary doors.

  • Patent number: 5943965
Abstract: An improved collapsible folding massage table with four folding leg assemblies having improved folding and stabilizing features which eliminates a second cross brace wherein the leg assemblies include a folding leg brace and an elongated strut with a slot that slidingly receives a pivot pin on the folding leg brace. The table also includes a pair of cables interconnecting pivot pins of the leg braces on the opposing side of the table thereby facilitating unfolding of the table while preventing the table legs from folding when the table is in use. The collapsible foldable table also includes stabilized leg blocks to which the elongated struts are pivotally attached and horizontally offset from the pivot pin of the corresponding table leg also attached to the leg block. Furthermore, the collapsible foldable table also includes integral hinges that hingedly attaches two table top sections and also include provisions for attaching members of the folding leg braces.

  • Patent number: 5941620
Abstract: In a corner furnishing element, a displaceably held inner built-in part is displaceable from an inner position into a position accessible from outside through an opening of the corner furnishing element. For this purpose a lever is provided which has two arms. This lever is pivotable, the one arm being in operative connection to a track, which is pivotable together therewith about a vertical pivot axis after an outer built-in part has been pulled out of the corner furnishing element. The other arm is connected to the inner built-in part by means of a connecting rod. The lever is formed by a solid or hollow profile, which is bent in the middle area. This lever can thus be inexpensively produced. Moreover the one arm can be provided with bends by means of which the character of the displacement movement of the inner built-in part can be changed.

  • Patent number: 5934775
Abstract: A terminal holder mounting arrangement includes a terminal holder supported on an open frame at the upright rear side wall of the casing of a computer and detachably secured in place by hooks and retaining elements inside the casing, the terminal holder having a top flange forced into engagement with the hooks at the casing, and an oblique bottom flange moved over the retaining elements at the casing and retained in place by the retaining elements. The terminal holder is disengaged from the constraint of the hooks and the retainer elements when a rigid pin is inserted into a bottom hole in the casing to push the bottom flange of the terminal holder away from the retainer elements.

  • Patent number: 5934203
Abstract: A table construction which can be quickly and easily dissembled for highly compact storage and one which is extremely versatile in use and highly attractive in appearance. A key aspect of the table construction is a novel, attractively sculptured leg assembly that can be used to support one or more table tops of varying configuration. The leg assembly is specially designed and configured so that it can be quickly attached to and removed from the table tops for easy storage and transport of both the legs and the tabletops. Because of the novel design of the leg assemblies, which include a broad, generally fan-shaped upper surface, a single leg assembly can be used to effectively support two adjacent table tops of either a conventional rectangular configuration or of non-rectangular design as, for example, tabletops having angularly extending sides.

  • Patent number: 5931548
Abstract: A non-interlock blocking element adapted for use with a furniture unit having a plurality of drawers, a vertical guide for receiving a vertical stack of blocking elements which are slidably mountable in the guide for vertical translation therein, and a wedge element associated with each of the drawers which is reciprocable into the stack of blocking elements to effect interlocking relationships among the drawers is provided. The non-interlock blocking element allows such furniture units which are adapted for use with interlocking mechanisms, to be configured as non-interlocking furniture units, or as partially interlocking furniture units. The non-interlock blocking elements are generally similar to standard interlock blocking elements, but include a recess which allows unobstructed reciprocation of a wedge element associated with a drawer when the recess is in horizontal alignment with the wedge element, whereby the drawer can be opened irrespective of whether another drawer is already opened.
