The method includes providing an image view of the face of the vehicle occupant; determining levels of light at plural parts of the face of the vehicle occupant; determining a direction to a light source causing the levels of light at plural parts of the face of the vehicle occupant; determining an area where to activate a glare protector; and activating the glare protector in the determined area to protect the vehicle occupant from glare caused by a light source.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a truck that includes a first wheel well and a second wheel well. A bed is positioned between the first wheel well and the second wheel well. In addition, the truck includes a two-piece cab back panel that is formed of a lower cab back panel and an upper cab back panel. The lower cab back panel is arranged adjacent to the bed and between the first wheel well and the second wheel well while the upper back panel is separated from the bed by the lower cab back panel.

Abstract: The partition wall for commercial vehicles comprises at least one fixed plate (20) and a sliding door (10) able to slide with respect to said fixed wall (20), predisposed to separate the cockpit of the vehicle from the loading compartment. The sliding door (10) is provided, along the upper edge and along the bottom edge, with a plurality of sliding wheels (11, 12) predisposed to slide respectively on an upper guide (13) and on a lower guide (14) associated with the structure of the vehicle. The sliding wheels (11, 12) have a grooved profile predisposed to be coupled with a corresponding rail (19) of said guides (13, 14) having conjugated profile.

Abstract: A hardened portion in a vehicle structure has an almost hemispherical shape around a lower surface side of a bottom wall rear portion in a vehicle upper-lower direction, the lower surface side serving as a center of a curvature. As the hardened portion is formed, a direction of tensile stress generated in the hardened portion is a radial direction in which the center of the curvature serves as a center side. Thus, occurrence of tensile stress in directions opposite to each other by which a specific part within the hardened portion is pulled apart in a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction of the bottom wall rear portion is inhibited.

Abstract: A connecting structure for exterior members includes: a first exterior member provided on a vehicle body; a second exterior member disposed adjacent to the first exterior member; an engaging portion provided on one of the first and second exterior members; and an engaged portion provided on the other one of the first and second exterior members. The connecting structure has a parting line formed between the first exterior member and the second exterior member by disposing the second exterior member on the vehicle body adjacent to the first exterior member. Sliding one of the first and second exterior members relative to the other one of the first and second exterior members along, the parting line causes the engaging portion and the engaged portion to be brought into engagement with each other in a direction intersecting a sliding direction of the one of the first and second exterior members.

Abstract: A bumper cross member for a motor vehicle is produced from an extruded hollow profile and has a front side forming an impact side, a rear side in opposition to the front side, end zones configured for connection to the motor vehicle, a central zone extending between the end zones and bent toward the impact side, and top and bottom sides connecting the rear side with the front side. Each of the top and bottom sides has a projecting flange which is separated from the rear side by a separation cut configured to end shy of the end zones so that the flanges are connected with the bumper cross member in the end zones.

The first seat attachment projection has a first bearing surface that is configured to bear against a first portion of the vehicle seat base. The second seat attachment projection has a second bearing surface that is configured to bear against a second portion of the vehicle seat base. The first seat attachment projection and the second seat attachment projection are adjustable with respect to the accessory fastener.

Abstract: A vehicle door, in particular a passenger door for a public transport vehicle, includes a window frame for receiving a window, which has at least one frame element for receiving a respective window edge of the window. The vehicle further includes a door frame for receiving the window frame. The door frame includes a door profile and the at least one frame element includes a window profile respectively, wherein the at least one window profile with reference to a movement in a release direction perpendicular to the window edge received by the respective frame element is engaged with a respective door profile in a form-fitting manner.

Abstract: A handle assembly for a vehicle includes a rail. The rail includes retention flanges that each define a channel. A handle is disposed within the channel and is operably coupled to the rail. The handle includes a body that defines a grasping portion and at least one attachment end. A latch feature is operably coupled to the at least one attachment end of the handle. The latch feature includes a retention member that is coupled to a pivot feature. The latch feature also includes a lever. A cable is operably coupled to the lever of the latch feature and is configured to translate the latch feature between an engaged position and a retracted position.

Abstract: A mounting system for a vehicle with one or more cross members. The mounting system includes a mounting rail including a mounting platform and at least one mounting slot being formed in the mounting platform. The mounting system includes a panel bracket coupled to the mounting rail that is configured to receive at least one guard panel. The mounting system includes at least one clamping body removably coupled to the mounting platform of the mounting rail. The at least one clamping body is configured to engage a cross member and the mounting platform is configured to engage the cross member so as to clamp the cross member between the at least one clamping body and the mounting platform.

The first section includes at least one connector and is adapted to overlie the first compartment. In a first position the cover defines a first effective surface area, and the first section is in a first position, the second section is in a first position, and the intermediate section is not parallel to the first section and second section. Abstract: A detachable hinge assembly configured to rotatably couple a window assembly to a vehicle body includes a support hinge member configured to couple to the vehicle body and including a hinge pin, and a window hinge member having a main body configured to couple to the window assembly, and one or more knuckles configured to removably receive the hinge pin. A cover is rotatably coupled to the window hinge member and includes a pin retaining arm. The cover is configured to move between a closed position where the pin retaining arm is positioned to retain the hinge pin within the one or more knuckles, and an open position where the pin retaining arm is positioned to allow the hinge pin to be removed from the one or more knuckles.
