Abstract: In a target image generated by multi-resolution processing, a pixel of interest and a group of reference pixels are designated. In a corresponding image belonging to a level that is one level above, pixel value patterns are compared between a corresponding region of interest and corresponding reference regions so as to calculate weights. A modified pixel-of-interest value is determined by means of multiplying the reference pixel values by the weights.
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: acquire a registration request that a user uses to request a print service apparatus to register the image processing apparatus and the user; acquire identification information on an administrator having an administrative right to the print service apparatus; in response to the registration request, request the print service apparatus to register the image processing apparatus and the user; and request the administrator identified by the identification information to perform authentication under the administrative right to register the image processing apparatus and the user on the print service apparatus by transmitting, to the administrator, authentication information, used to register the image processing apparatus, and identification information on the user that are acquired from the print service apparatus.
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and processor-readable storage media for localized anomaly detection in digital documents are provided herein. An example computer-implemented method includes identifying at least one image in a digital document; processing the identified at least one image using at least an image compression algorithm; applying a first machine learning model to the at least one processed image, wherein the first machine learning model is trained to detect whether the at least one image comprises one or more modifications; in response to detecting that the at least one image comprises at least one modification, applying a second machine learning model to identify a location in the at least one image corresponding to the at least one modification; and generating an indication that identifies the location of the at least one modification in the at least one image.
Abstract: The described aspects and implementations enable efficient detection and classification of objects with machine learning models that deploy a bird's-eye view representation and are trained using depth ground truth data. In one implementation, disclosed are system and techniques that include obtaining images, generating, using a first neural network (NN), feature vectors (FVs) and depth distributions pixels of images, wherein the first NN is trained using training images and a depth ground truth data for the training images. The techniques further include obtaining a feature tensor (FT) in view of the FVs and the depth distributions, and processing the obtained FTs, using a second NN, to identify one or more objects depicted in the images.

Abstract: The present application is suitable for use in the technical field of computers, and provides a smart diagnosis assistance method and terminal based on medical images, comprising: acquiring a medical image to be classified; pre-processing the medical image to be classified to obtain a pre-processed image; and inputting the pre-processed image into a trained classification model for classification processing to obtain a classification type corresponding to the pre-processed image, the classification model comprising tensorized network layers and a second-order pooling module. As the trained classification model comprises tensor decomposed network layers and a second-order pooling module, when processing images on the basis of the classification model, more discriminative features related to pathologies can be extracted, increasing the accuracy of medical image classification.

Abstract: A raster image processor (RIP) system is used in a printing system to process a variety of different jobs. A front end receives the jobs and determines the job type. The job types include a print job, a preview job, and an estimation job. Depending on the type of job, the front end configures the RIPs within RIP system accordingly to process the job. The RIPs may process the job in parallel, with a high performance RIP processing the first page of the job. If the job is not processed in parallel, then the front end assigns the job to a very high performance RIP. The front end also assigns the preview job to a preview RIP and the estimation job to an estimation RIP. The front end configures RIPs as needed.

Abstract: A system for treating plants for use in agriculture, comprising a spray boom provided with a plurality of spray nozzles supplied by a spray control device, the apparatus comprising a set of cameras capable of capturing images of a crop area, a digital processing device capable of analyzing the images captured by the camera, identifying plants to be treated and sending commands to the spray control device with a view to selectively spraying a product on plants to be treated, the apparatus also comprising an arrangement for lighting the crop area captured by the cameras. That source field information may comprise a three-dimensional object represented as a two-dimensional manifold embedded in Euclidean three-dimensional space approximated via polygon mesh. This can comprise subdividing the initial space into a plurality of subspaces and generating a fixed-dimensionality vector representation for each field that corresponds to one of the subspaces. Abstract: A method for defending against an adversarial sample in image classification includes: denoising, by an adversarial denoising network, an input image to acquire a reconstructed image; acquiring, by a target classification model, a predicted category probability distribution of the reconstructed image; acquiring, by the target classification model, a predicted category probability distribution of the original input image; calculating an adversarial score of the input image, and determining the input image as an adversarial sample or a benign sample according to a threshold; outputting a category prediction result of the reconstructed image if the input image is determined as the adversarial sample; and outputting a category prediction result of the original input image if the input image is determined as the benign sample. A system for defending against an adversarial sample in image classification, and a data processing terminal are further provided.
