Abstract: An image forming system includes a mobile terminal and an image forming apparatus. The mobile terminal obtains a list related to document data from the image forming apparatus, receives, from a user, a selection of document data via the list to create selected document data, transmits information indicating the selected document data to the image forming apparatus, causes a display device to display a preview image based on the preview image data, accepts print setting information and a print instruction of the document data corresponding to the preview image, and transmits the print setting information and the print instruction of the document data to the image forming apparatus. The mobile terminal sets the print setting information and transmits the print instruction of the selected document data to the image forming apparatus without receiving the selected document data from the image forming apparatus.

The image forming instruction information includes image data, and transmission information indicating the communication protocol used. An image forming section prints an image using one of a decolorable toner and a non-decolorable toner. A storage device stores correspondence information indicating, for each communication protocol, one of the decolorable toner and the non-decolorable toner for forming an image. A processor is programmed to determine the communication protocol with which the received image forming instruction information was transmitted.

If, however, there is a destination for the protocol associated with the fax number an attempt is made to send the fax to the destination according to the protocol.

The flexible transmission path extends from a connection portion that is electrically connected to the image sensor, to a specific location within a reading range between the reading start position and the reading end position, and curved the connection portion and the specific location. The charge remover includes a conductor which abuts on an upper surface of the flexible transmission path and is grounded. With a reciprocal movement of the image sensor, the charge remover moves between a stop position being away from the reading start position in the forward direction, and a position being on the reading end position side of the stop position.

The system includes an interface that receives an order ID. A communication system transmits the order ID over a communication network to a remotely-located terminal, and receives order data comprising information obtained from a record in a first database. A memory device that is locally connected to the interface locally stores a second database comprising rules defining requirements of a drug labeling standard. The memory device stores insufficient information to locally interpret the order ID. A label generator applies at least one of the rules using a portion of the received order data and a portion of information locally stored in the second database to control a label printer that prints the label in compliance with the drug labeling standard.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method for configuring a print job in a print shop workflow can comprise defining, by a print job processing system of the print shop, one or more available print configurations for the print shop and one or more recommendation rules for applying the available print configurations. A file for a print job submitted to the print shop can be received and evaluated based on the defined one or more available print configurations and the defined one or more rules. One or more recommendations for configuring the submitted print job can be generated based on the evaluating of the received file. The submitted print job can be processed according to one of the generated recommendations and the print shop workflow.
