The over-the-air antennas receive the weighted communication signal and transmit it to a device under test. The chamber model is based on a simulation or a measurement. The chamber model takes into account undesired interactions in the over-the-air chamber for cancelling them during the radio channel emulation.

    Abstract: Testing scale buildup in a well tool can include pressurizing separate cationic and anionic solutions, then heating the separate solutions, mixing together the solutions, and exposing the well tool to the mixed solutions. A well tool can be constructed by a) determining velocities of flow at a predetermined offset from surfaces of a geometric model representative of the well tool, b) calculating scale buildup on the surfaces based at least in part on the velocities, c) reducing pressure change per unit distance along selected ones of the surfaces having greater than a predetermined level of scale buildup, and d) repeating steps a-c until all scale buildup is no greater than the predetermined level. A method of predicting scale buildup can include inputting a parameter indicative of flow through a well tool to a mathematical model, which determines a rate of scale buildup on a surface of the well tool.

From the gathered information, the activated workflow engine matches appropriate variables and assigns input values to suit the workflows which are applicable to the transaction. This facilitates the ability to invoke multiple workflows associated with this transaction and subsequently validates the “activated state” of these workflows. When the underlying simulation model or the main transaction is executed, the workflows are activated, the input variables get populated, and the independent workflows get invoked automatically (without requiring manual further input).

    Abstract: Methods for designing and developing models for simulating the behavior of clock signals and in particular those generated by phase-locked loop (PLL) circuits are provided. The clock period of a phase-locked loop circuit's variable frequency oscillator signal may be modeled by combining the inverse of the oscillator frequency rounded up to the simulation time scale with the inverse rounded down to the simulation time scale. The variable frequency oscillator signal may further be synchronized with a reference clock signal at a rate determined by the relationship between the reference clock signal and the variable frequency oscillator signal. A parameter may indicate a target range for the deviation between the two signals and a runtime monitor may be used together with the parameter setting to decide whether synchronization is required and make the appropriate adjustments.
