Abstract: The present disclosure provides a power control method and a wireless device, in a cluster comprised of wireless devices including a first wireless device and a second wireless device, comprising: receiving power control information including a second data channel transmission power, from the second wireless device; determining a first data channel transmission power based on the second data channel transmission power; and controlling data channel transmission power of the first wireless device according to the first data channel transmission power; wherein, the first data channel transmission power is a power allowing the first wireless device to reach all wireless devices in the cluster, and the second data channel transmission power is a power allowing the second wireless device to reach all wireless devices in the cluster.
Abstract: A method of rate control of a display device includes receiving compressed stress data for a slice of a display, decompressing the compressed stress data to obtain reconstructed stress data for the slice, adding additional stress data to the reconstructed stress data to obtain updated stress data for the slice, encoding the updated stress data at a first precision level (pc) to generate first updated compressed stress data for the slice, in response to a size (bc) of the first updated compressed stress data for the slice of the display exceeding a size (bt) of a buffer, determining a second precision level (p) based on the first precision level (pc), a third precision level (ps) of the additional stress data, and a fourth precision level (pb) of the buffer, and encoding the updated stress data at the second precision level (p) to generate second updated compressed stress data.
Abstract: A customizable knee brace for use in the treatment of osteoarthritis is provided. The customizable knee brace includes a lateral upright. The lateral upright includes at least a first semi-rigid support, a second semi-rigid support, and a hinge physically coupling the first semi-rigid support and the second semi-rigid support. The customizable knee brace further includes a thigh cuff constructed of formable material and coupled to the first semi-rigid support. The customizable knee brace further includes a shin cuff constructed of formable material and coupled to the second semi-rigid support. The customizable knee brace further includes an elastomeric web framework coupled to the lateral upright and configured to secure an area of a knee of a patient when wearing the customizable knee brace. The customizable knee brace further includes at least one tensioning element configured to adjust a tension of the elastomeric web framework.

Abstract: A switching converter circuit for switching one end of an inductor therein between plural voltages according to a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to convert an input voltage to an output voltage. The switching converter circuit has a driver circuit including a high side driver, a low side driver, a high side sensor circuit, and a low side sensor circuit. The high side sensor circuit is configured to sense a gate-source voltage of a high side metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET), to generate a low side enable signal for enabling the low side driver to switch a low side MOSFET according to the PWM signal. The low side sensor circuit is configured to sense a gate-source voltage of a low side MOSFET, to generate a high side enable signal for enabling the high side driver to switch a high side MOSFET according to the PWM signal.

Abstract: A vehicle has a plurality of control apparatuses, a user input, a geographic position component, an object detection apparatus, memory, and a display. A processor is also included and is programmed to receive the destination information, identify a route, and determine the current geographic location of the vehicle. The processor is also programmed to identify an object and object type based on object information received from the object detection apparatus and to determine at least one warning characteristic of the identified object based on at least one of: the object type, a detected proximity of the detected object to the vehicle, the location of the detected object relative to predetermined peripheral areas of the vehicle, the current geographic location of the vehicle, and the route. The processor is also configured to select and display on the display an object warning image based on the at least one warning characteristic.

Abstract: An access point (AP) communicates to one or more stations (STAs) information indicating a set of channels and/or resource units (RUs), corresponding to a wideband basis service set (BSS) for an authorized unlicensed radio local area network (RLAN) using 6 GHz spectrum, which are subject to a lower power spectral density (PSD) level than other portions of the BSS frequency range or are not to be used for transmission. In some, but not necessarily all, embodiments, the AP and the STAs do not encode data on the identified channels or RUs, but do encode data on other channels and/or other RUs, which are not subject to the lower PSD constraint.

Abstract: Herein is disclosed a composition for application to a wound comprising: a first layer comprising a skin adhesive, wherein the first layer has a wound-facing side and a non-wound-facing side and, in a first area, apertures extend through the first layer from the wound-facing side to the non-wound-facing side; and a second layer disposed on a non-wound-facing side of the first layer, the second layer comprising a polymeric film that is continuous in that it extends over and covers each of the apertures of the first layer, the second layer having a moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR) of at least 500 g/m2/24 hours, measured in accordance with BS EN 13726-2:2002, wherein the composition further comprises a third layer disposed between the first layer and second layer, the third layer being a supporting layer for the first layer, the third layer having apertures therethrough, substantially corresponding to the apertures in the first layer. A method of making such a composition is also disclosed.
