Abstract: Systems and related methods of providing seamless transactions, including payments and promotion redemptions, are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for a system including a communication beacon and one or more servers. The communication beacon may be configured to communicate with consumer devices via a direct wireless connection when the consumer devices are within a wireless direct communicable range of the communication beacon. The one or more servers may be configured to associate the communication with a merchant and receive consumer presence data from the communication beacon such that consumer presence at the merchant may be determined. In response, the one or more servers may be configured to perform a seamless transaction on behalf the consumer that allows the consumer to provide payments or redeem promotions, among other things, simply by self-identifying with the merchant while carrying the consumer device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are for production, management, syndication and distribution of exercise class content for use with an exercise apparatus. An exercise content distribution system includes a database storing the exercise content and data associated with a content provider and an application provider, and a platform server operable to facilitate delivery of the exercise content to the exercise apparatus. The platform server is configured to deliver archived exercise classes, receive a selection of one of the archived exercise classes, transmit data representing content of the selected archived exercise class, receive performance data based on activity by the first user, generate archived performance data for a plurality of other users, and dynamically update a ranked list and at least some of the synchronized archived user performance parameters for display by the exercise apparatus.

Abstract: A personalized digital travel advisor system includes a computing device, a virtual travel advisor platform accessible via the computing device, a user profile integrated into the virtual travel advisor platform, a database, and a data analysis center. User data is collected and stored in the database to build a robust user profile based on a user's interests and preferences. The user data is analyzed by the data analysis center and one or more travel related recommendations are provided to the user based on the user profile.

Abstract: A networked computer system for generating promotional offers for casino property patrons is described herein. The networked computer system includes a promotions management computer server including a processor programmed to execute an algorithm to display an offer selection screen including an event calendar displaying a period of calendar dates, a period token balance associated with the period of calendar dates including an amount of tokens, and a plurality of promotional offers associated with the casino patron, with each promotional offer being displayed with an associated number of tokens. The processor receives a selection of one of the displayed promotional offers and a calendar date, assigns the selected promotional offer to the selected calendar date, reduces the period token balance by the number of tokens associated with the selected promotional offer, and modifies a patron account file to include the selected promotional offer assigned to the selected calendar date.

Abstract: Disclosed is a Social-Topical Adaptive Networking (STAN) system that can inform users of cross-correlations between currently focused-upon topic or other nodes in a corresponding topic or other data-objects organizing space maintained by the system and various social entities monitored by the system. More specifically, one of the cross-correlations may be as between the top N now-hottest topics being focused-upon by a first social entity and the amounts of focus ‘heat’ that other social entities (e.g., friends and family) are casting on the same topics (or other subregions of other cognitive attention receiving spaces) in a relevant time period.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing an advertisement marketplace where buyers and sellers can trade mediacast advertisement inventory programmatically at local, national, and/or worldwide levels. The marketplace system may include a seller-controlled marketplace system which connects sellers with buyers and offers revenue management tools for optimizing yields across direct and programmatic channels. The advertisement inventory is bought and sold as canonical inventory units which group similar but discrete advertisement slots together. The marketplace system may include a seller side platform (SSP) for sellers through which sellers can access demand across multiple sales channels and can make advertisement inventory available and accept or reject bids based on marketplace demand.

Abstract: As part of an integrated banking platform, an internet banking platform includes a banking server, a processor, and a memory module. The memory module includes stored computer program code. The memory module, the stored computer program code, and the processor are configured to cause the banking server to receive access to a rewards program server associated with a rewards account platform. Further, the server is caused to receive enrollment information associated with a user, and to connect to the rewards program server. The server is also caused to transmit an enrollment request message to the rewards program server. The enrollment request message includes at least a subset of the enrollment information. Additionally, the server is caused to receive an enrollment response message that indicates whether the user has been enrolled in a rewards account maintained by the rewards account platform.

Abstract: A method performed by a security system of a 5G network to protect against cyberattacks on a personalized basis. The security system can identify a cybersecurity threat to a wireless device based on contextual information relating to the wireless device, a user preference, or a call detail record. The security system can determine a one-time fee to charge the user in exchange for protecting the wireless device against the cybersecurity threat, generate an on-demand coupon to protect the wireless device against the cybersecurity threat, and send the on-demand coupon to the wireless device based at least in part on the contextual information relating to the wireless device and the user preference. When the security system receives an indication that the on-demand coupon was redeemed, responds by deploying a network asset to protect the wireless device against the cybersecurity threat.

Abstract: A display system may include a display, a first server transmitting first content to the display device, a second server receiving the first content from the first server, and a camera transmitting second content obtained by capturing images on the display, to the second server. The second server may be configured to determine whether a rate at which the first content coincides with the second content is greater than or equal to a specified value, by comparing the first content with the second content. The second server measures a first time period during which a region of the captured images corresponding to the first content coincides with the second content at a rate which is greater than or equal to the specified value. Advertising costs are calculated based on the measured first time period.

Abstract: A mobile commerce system and components thereof are provided in which multiple wireless mobile communications devices (mobile devices) (1) each has a unique electronic identification and processing circuit (2) capable of encrypting data utilizing an encryption key and a first software application providing connectivity to commercial webpage servers (4) for purposes that include the conduct of selected transactions involving a payment for goods or services. Each mobile device is independently enabled to conduct financial transactions in real time by communication with a financial institution. Each mobile device further has a second software application termed mobile payment application adapted to interact with the first application to receive data as to a payment required to conclude a transaction conducted by way of a commercial webpage server.

Abstract: An example system disclosed herein for transforming neuro-response data into media ratings includes a data collector to obtain first neuro-response from a first subject exposed to a first media and second neuro-response data from a second subject exposed to a second media. The first media broadcast is before a time of the second media. The example system includes an analyzer to integrate the first neuro-response data with ratings data for the first media to generate a first rating for the first media. The ratings data is based on set-top box data associated with a media presentation device presenting the first media. The analyzer is to transform the second neuro-response data into a second rating for the second media based on the first rating.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for location-targeting the provision of media distributed by a mobile platform. The method provides a mobile platform with an attached media projection subsystem, and an identifier associated with the media projection subsystem. The media projection subsystem is selectively enabled, the geographic location of the mobile platform is determined, and the identifier and the enablement of the media projection system are verified. Verification information, including the mobile platform (media projection subsystem) location, identifier, and enablement of the media projection subsystem is communicated to a server and stored in a non-transitory memory.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods directed to a social-financial platform. In certain embodiments, sponsor-members, consumer-members, and beneficiary members are part of a social-financial platform in which purchases made by consumer-members at merchant sponsor-members result in automatic rebates being paid to and allocated between the consumer member and one or more beneficiary-members. Also disclosed is a monolithic financial structure for carrying out rebate allocation automatically and instantaneously, and for transferring funds between users.

Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically providing content complementary to a content being rendered on mobile devices based on determining a context of the device based on identifying an encoded unique audio identifier. The transmission and playback of the complementary content is synchronized with the currently rendered content by dynamically taking into account the context of a user operating the mobile device. The context of a user may be built from considering a piece of currently rendered content, characteristics of a profile of a vendor, characteristics of the individual user and/or the user's individual profile, date, time of day and/or further additional information. The context may further take into account the current position and/or location of the user as acoustically triangulated based on sending and/or receiving unique audio identifiers as a high frequency audio signal.

Abstract: An online system provides a feed of content including organic content items and sponsored content items that are positioned relative to each other to maximize user interaction with the feed of content. To reduce latency of providing the feed of content to a user without impairing positioning of organic content items and sponsored content items relative to each other, the online system generates the feed of content including organic content items and sends the feed of content to a client device while selecting sponsored content items for the feed of content. The online system transmits selected sponsored content items to the client device, which modifies the feed of content to include the sponsored content items and presents the modified feed of content.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing an in-person transaction process are provided. In example embodiments, a network system receives, from a first user device, information regarding a service or an item. Using the received information, the network system generates an unpublished listing and associates the unpublished listing with a session identifier. The unpublished listing is temporarily stored to a datastore. The network system then generates a scannable code that provides a uniform resource identifier (URI) associated with the session identifier. The scannable code is presented on the first user device, whereby the scannable code can be scanned by a second user device to access, via the URI, a transaction user interface associated with the session identifier. In response to a request to access the transaction user interface triggered by the second user device scanning the scannable code, the transaction user interface is displayed on the second user device.
