Abstract: A protective enclosure that is primarily constructed from corrugated, symmetrical panel members of uniform shape. The panel members are made from steel. The panel members are connected together to form the walls and roof of the enclosure. The enclosure is connected to a cementitious member to anchor the enclosure. The enclosure is provided with a door that completes the enclosure and allows entry and exit from the enclosure.
Abstract: Snap-in mounting systems for laminate solar panels are provided. The laminate solar panels can include laminate strips that can be snapped into mounting rails. The mounting rails may be coupled to racking rails for structural support and may include locking mechanisms for additional support and theft deterrence. An entire system may include a number of racking rails, mounting rails, and solar panels.
Abstract: A connector is provided to attach a supported member to a supporting member, with the supported member being in sloped and skewed relation to the supporting member. The hanger has left and right back members and left and right side support members attached to the left and right back members respectively. A seat member attaches to both the left and right back members along aligned left and right seat bend lines. A pair of seat side members can extend from the seat member. A pair of left and right jutting tabs extend from the left and right back members respectively.
Abstract: Assemblies and couplings for mounting PV modules are provided. An assembly is provided to avoid conflicts between linkages used to adjoin adjacent PV modules and leveling feet used to mount the PV modules to supporting structure. Specifically, an interlock support coupling is provided that may include a shaft with a locking portion disposed at the end that interfaces with an interlock bracket used to couple adjacent PV modules and a housing with an opening for receiving a connection with a supporting foot. An interlock bracket may be provided with a slot for receiving an interlock support coupling.
Abstract: An apparatus has a vacuum transport chamber having first and second isolation valves coupled to first and second substrate processing locations, and third and fourth isolation valves coupled to a load lock. First and substrate transport vacuum robots are provided. The load lock is between the first and second substrate transport vacuum robots, and has an atmospheric isolation valve. The atmospheric isolation valve, the third and the fourth isolation valves are arranged in a spaced triangular relationship. The first substrate transport vacuum robot transports a processed substrate from the first processing location to the load lock and transports an unprocessed substrate from the load lock to the first processing location substantially simultaneously as the second substrate transport vacuum robot transports a different processed substrate from the second processing location to the load lock and transports a different unprocessed substrate from the load lock to the second processing location.

Abstract: A modular foundation design for supporting a wind turbine or telecommunication tower, comprised of pre-cast concrete modules offering advantages of off-site manufacture and ease of transportation, but which deign is simple to construct. A base slab is provided comprised of sub-modules/base members arranged together in juxtaposed position which together provide a horizontal surface on which pre-cast pipe members may be stacked in end-to-end position to form a pedestal. Anchor rods extend through the pipe members into screw retainers in the base members, which rods serve to not only post-tension the pipe members and secure them together, but further advantageously serve to retain the base members together thereby assisting in distributing forces and loads applied to one sub-module/base member over the entire base slab. Coupling means to further couple the base members together may be added to better retain the base members together and still further improve distribution of forces.
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a universal window frame assembly. A window frame assembly can include a plurality of frame members, wherein at least one of the frame members comprises a first profile frame member and at least one of the other frame members comprises a second profile frame member. The at least one first profile frame member and the at least one second profile frame member seat together to form the frame assembly. Head and side jamb members of a window frame can have a common first profile, and a sill jamb member can have a second profile. The frame members can be connected with corner keys configured to engage one or more openings in the first and second profiles. The sill jamb member can provide a sill slope angle.
Abstract: An encapsulated glass assembly includes a plastic frame having at least three sides and corners, with the frame having a channel extending within its outer frame surface that includes a lower wall portion connected to a side wall portion. The outer frame surface further includes at least one upper wall portion extending from the side wall portion and extending along at least one side of the frame, each one of the at least one upper wall portions further defining a portion of the channel as a C-shaped channel. A glass panel coupled to the frame is retained within the C-shaped channel along at least one side of the frame such that the edge of the panel is adjacent to the side wall portion. An encapsulant having a Shore hardness less than the frame is bonded onto the panel and onto the frame to secure the panel to the frame.

Abstract: A device for filling or creating a void within a construction medium. The device has a body having at least one inflatable body portion. Each inflatable body portion has one or more inflatable cavities. There is at least one valve member fluidly connected to the one or more inflatable cavity to control flow of fluid into and inflate said cavity. In-use, the one or more cavities are shaped to substantially fill or create the void in a construction medium when in an inflated state.
Abstract: A wedge assembly for post tensioning concrete includes one or more wedges and a wedge ring. Each wedge includes an outer surface having a circumferential groove formed thereon. The wedge ring is adapted to fit into the groove of the wedges and retain the wedges to a strand. The wedge ring including a gap adapted to allow the wedge ring to be installed from the side of the wedges. When installed to the strand, the wedges may form a clearance fit maintained by the wedge ring. At least one wedge may include a guide adapted to assist with the separation of the wedges when installed to the strand.
Abstract: A device which can be fixed to the edge of a panel, for example a sound-absorbing panel formed by heat-bonded synthetic fibers, is disclosed. The device includes a body with a longitudinal through-hole and two walls which define a cavity for enclosing the edge of the panel. The through-hole communicates with the cavity. The through-hole is configured to guide a threaded element (screw or the like) towards the cavity so that the threaded element engages at least with the edge of the panel so that it expands towards the walls of the cavity and is firmly retained by them.
Abstract: An interlocking construction block system comprising a family of blocks that interlock along three axes, including a left/right axis, a front/back axis, and an up/down axis. The family of blocks are self-aligning and do not require skilled labor or mortar to create a structure of any length, width, height, or shape. Each block comprises a specific geometry that allows all blocks in the family to interlock in a woven pattern that not only locks the blocks in place but also allows even distribution of structural weights and stresses. The disclosed blocks can be manufactured in different sizes to conform to any building code requirement and to create wall lengths to a one-inch measurement. The blocks may comprise channel openings to allow for plumbing, electrical, and structural reinforcements in the structure and may each be reinforced with an internal mesh cage.

The rail base extension includes vertically-oriented sides interconnected by a partition plate, the rail base extension sides having mating surfaces on opposing external surfaces thereof for mating with internal surfaces of the rail framing member second receiving channel walls. A fastener secures the rail base extension to the rail framing member, and a panel is secured along a longitudinal axis thereof in the first receiving channel of the rail framing member.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for accurately modifying a concrete slab on subsided ground by injecting an expandable resin below the concrete slab more than once, which also allows for easy control of the work process. The method of the present invention as a means for resolution includes performing the following steps: on a concrete slab in an area including a region where ground subsidence has occurred, determining points to drill injection holes for injecting an expandable resin at a pitch of 0.5 to 2.0 m in a grid pattern; injecting an expandable resin below a point where the subsidence of the concrete slab is severest and expanding the expandable resin to push up the concrete slab at most 30 mm more than once.
Abstract: A system for fixing an opening within a structure includes a planar front member including an opening, a rear member including first and second outer portions and a central portion connected at a pivot point. The first and second outer portions include first and second hooks, respectively, adjacent to the pivot point. A spring extends between the first and second hooks. The first and second outer portions includes first and second elongated slots and the central portion includes a slot. The system further includes a handle including a body, and the body of the handle is threaded through the first and second elongated slots and the slot of the rear member and the opening of the front member.
Abstract: A below ground blind assembly for concealing a hunter below ground includes a box that is selectively positioned in a hole in the ground thereby facilitating a hunter to sit in the box. A cover is removably positioned on the box to conceal the hunter. In this way game is inhibited from seeing the hunter. The cover having an opening therein and a weapon is selectively extended outwardly therefrom. In this way the hunter may shoot the game from the box. A power supply is coupled to the box and the power supply selectively supplies power to an extrinsic electronic device.
