Abstract: Disclosed is a towel holding apparatus for providing a ready access to a towel by a user. The towel holding apparatus includes an attachment assembly. The attachment assembly includes a clasping member capable of being detachably attached to an item of the user. Further, the attachment assembly includes a first connector detachably attached to the clasping member, and a first set of magnets removably engaged with the first connector. The towel holding apparatus further includes a holding assembly. The holding assembly includes a second set of magnets removably coupled to the first set of magnets of the attachment assembly. Further, the holding assembly includes a second connector removably engaged with the second set of magnets, and a holding member detachably attached to the second connector. The holding member is capable of removably holding the towel.
Abstract: A button is disclosed that includes a die cast button body for which a secondary or an additional process (e.g., a squeeze process) is unnecessary and for which a degree of freedom for design of the upper surface center of the button body can increase. A shank of a fastening member is provided with a shank distal end having a small diameter, a shank proximal portion having a larger diameter than that of the shank distal end, and a shank stepped portion. A shank receiving space of the button body for receiving the shank is provided with a shank receiving small diameter portion which receives the shank distal end and which has an axial length larger than that of the distal end, a shank receiving large diameter portion which receives a distal side part of the shank proximal portion, and a shank receiving stepped portion. The shank receiving stepped portion has a stepped portion edge boundary with the small diameter portion.
Abstract: The present invention provides a reverse opening type separable end stop having a mechanism which securely locks a reverse opening type slider on a surface of an insert pin or a box pin, thereby blocking the slider from needlessly moving inward, wherein the reverse opening type separable end stop comprises a reverse opening type slider, a box pin and an insert pin, the insert pin or the box pin being provided with a contact portion with which a locking pawl provided on the reverse opening type slider mounted on a fastener chain can always make contact by colliding an end surface thereof in an opening/closing direction at an end portion of the fastener chain, so that the contact portion is locked by the locking pawl, whereby a high quality reverse opening type separable end stop is ensured.
Abstract: A button comprises a button body (10, 10a, 10b) and a prong (20, 20a, 20b) adapted to be arranged on the side of cloth (30) opposite to the side thereof on which the button body mentioned above is set in place to nip the cloth therebetween and to fixedly secure the button body to the cloth. The button body mentioned above contains an outer shell member (13), which comprises a button back (15, 15a, 15b) and a cap (14, 14a, 14b), and an insert (11, 11a, 11b) accommodated in the outer shell member. In order to make a whitish button which could be heretofore obtained only by plating, at least the button back mentioned above is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. Preferably, the button back mentioned above is made of an aluminum alloy containing 3-6% by weight of magnesium, and the cross-sectional thickness of the above-mentioned button back is in the range of 0.25-0.6 mm. Further, it is desirable that the above-mentioned cap and the insert should also be made of an aluminum alloy.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a slider and a reclosable zipper, particularly a zipper with first and second profiles for watertight vessels, packages or similar devices. The slider is generally C-shaped with an upper arm, a lower arm, and a support wall in between. The support wall includes a groove which captures a rail formed on the first profile so that the slider can slidably move along the rail, riding the first profile. The lower arm includes separator blades which separate the first and second profiles when the slider is moved in the opening direction so as to urge the second profile between the upper and lower arms. When the slider is moved in the closing direction, the second profile travels between the upper and lower arms and is urged into engagement with the first profile by the upper arm. At the final closing position, the slider is stabilized or parked within a cut-out portion of the second profile.

Abstract: The reverse opening type slide fastener has a separable bottom end stop including upper and lower sliders, wherein a stopper for preventing the lower slider from slipping off is provided at the bottom end of a box pin. A first engaging portion is formed on an opposite side edge opposite to an insert pin of the box pin and a second engaging portion is formed on an opposite side edge opposite to the box pin of the insert pin to position the insert pin in a downward direction when the second engaging portion engages the first engaging portion. A projecting portion which makes contact with the inner face of the blade of the upper slider to suppress a free sliding of the upper slider, is formed on at least any one of front and rear side faces opposite to the inner face of the blade of the upper slider of the box pin.

Abstract: The invention describes a clasp for jewelry, especially for necklaces and bracelets, comprising a push-in fastener element, a receptacle element for receiving the push-in fastener element, a latching mechanism by means of which the push-in fastener element can be latched in the receptacle element, the latching mechanism comprising a spreadable latching means which when spread comes into a form-locking engagement with the receptacle element, and a handling means that can be gripped from outside of the receptacle element, for operation of the latching mechanism. It is provided according to the invention that the handling means is attached to a slide which is provided in the receptacle element and which in a first position, hereafter described as the latched position, is in engagement with the latching means and holds the latter in spread condition while in a second position, hereafter described as the unlatched position, it does not hold the latching means in spread condition.
Abstract: A slide fastener with a slider locking mechanism comprising a slider body, a tab attached to the slider body rotatably, and a slider having a locking pawl formed integrally with the tab, wherein the locking pawl has a pawl portion fitted into between the elements, and the pawl portion comprises: a first contact surface which, when the tab is rotated after sliding operation of the slider is ended, contacts with a first element of an element row attached to a fastener stringer to stop the tab's rotation temporarily; and a second contact surface which, when the slider starts a forced movement in an element separating direction with the tab's rotation stopped, contacts with a second element to stop the slider's forced movement in a state where the tab restarts to rotate and the pawl portion is fitted into between the elements.

Abstract: A fastener adapter and fastener strap combination includes a first strap member having first and second ends, an outer surface and an inner surface with hook material; and a second strap member having first and second opposing surfaces of hook material. The second strap member is attached to the inner surface intermediately between the first and second ends of the first strap member. The first surface of the second member and a portion of the inner surface of the first member define a first all-hook opening. The second surface of the second member and a portion of the inner surface of the first member define a second all-hook surface. The combination also includes a continuous fastener strap having first and second end portions, the first end portion frictionally attached to the first all-hook opening and the second end portion frictionally attached to the second all-hook surface.

Abstract: A safety buckle includes an intermediate buckle member, which has two opposite receiving holes and two smoothly arched grooves on the top and bottom sides in each receiving hole, and two connecting buckle members each having a plug insertable into the receiving holes of the intermediate buckle member and raised portions protruded from the top and bottom sides of the plug for engaging the smoothly arched grooves to secure the respective connecting buckle member to the intermediate buckle member for allowing the connecting buckle members to be biased relative to the intermediate buckle member within a predetermined angle. In an alternate form of the safety buckle, the locations of the raised portions and the locations of the smoothly arched grooves are exchanged.

Abstract: A slider for a slide fastener with an automatic stopper, includes: a body; a pull; a pawl rod; a leaf spring; and a cover including front, back, side and upper walls. The side walls are provided at respective centers thereof with openings through which a pivotal shaft of the pull can be passed. A pair of mounting parts are provided in the front and in the back on an upper wing plate of the body. Holding mechanisms for holding the leaf spring are provided in the front and in the back on an inner face of the cover at respective positions inwardly separated from the front wall and the back wall. The leaf spring defines spaces between the holding mechanisms and the upper wall. The holding mechanisms hold the leaf spring at positions inwardly separated from opposite ends thereof. The cover is fixed to the front and back mounting parts.
Abstract: An vehicle seat belt includes a buckle system. The buckle system includes a seat belt buckle with a buckle face, a release button, and an opening for receiving a seat belt tongue. The buckle includes a seal positioned on the buckle face to seal the buckle face and prevent contaminants from entering the interior cavity of the buckle. Should contaminants penetrate the seal, drain holes located on the bottom side of the seat belt buckle may allow the contaminants to pass through the interior cavity of the buckle rather than harm the internal components of the seat belt buckle. Additionally, the seal, made of a flexible material, may aid in the prevention of noises that occur when the buckle comes in contact with other vehicle components.
Abstract: A suspension belt end connector has first and second wrapping elements that are arranged in a housing. The housing may have a back wall, side walls and an open side opposite to the back wall. The side walls taper and form with the back wall and a yoke a suspension unit to accommodate a suspension bolt. The end connector supports a poly V belt which serves as a suspension element. The belt is laid around the first wrapping element in a first loop, around the second wrapping element in a second loop, and again around the first wrapping element in a third loop that runs opposite to the first loop. The end of the belt is then held fast by means of a clamp or wedging device. Ribs of the first and third loops mutually engage, as a result of which the coefficient of friction in the engaged section of the belt is increased.

Abstract: A fixing clip for fixing an interior part of a vehicle is provided. The fixing clip is assembled in a body with the interior part via a headlining by a screw and is fixed to a mounting bracket provided in a vehicle body. The fixing clip includes a bottom part provided with a screw hole through which the screw is fastened and being in close contact with an upper surface of the interior part, a pair of body parts extending and being bent upwardly from both ends of the bottom part to face each other, and a pair of coupling parts extending and being bent outwardly and downwardly from upper ends of the body parts and being inserted into clip insertion holes provided on the mounting bracket. Accordingly, the clip can firmly and easily mount/separate an interior part on/from the vehicle body with its deformation, damage, or unexpected seceding due to an external force prevented.
