Abstract: An information processing apparatus having a first fitness calculation to calculate a fitness using a predetermined function for models in a population; a virtual model generating to select, as parent models, models having higher value of the fitness using the first fitness calculation among the models, and generate a virtual model that outputs by performing calculation of output results of the selected parent models; a second fitness calculation to calculate the fitness of the virtual model using the predetermined function; a replacing operation constituting the population by adding the virtual model and by deleting a model having lower value of the fitness among the models in the population; and a model extracting to extract a model having higher value of the fitness from the population by repeating processing by the virtual model generating, the second fitness calculation, and the model replacing until a predetermined termination condition is reached.

Abstract: A system for connecting market participants is disclosed. The system may receive a first user data comprising a market participant type. The system may receive a first metadata set associated with the first user data and a second metadata set associated with a second user data, wherein the second metadata set comprises the market participant type. The system may generate a match data based on the first metadata set, the second metadata set, and the market participant type, wherein the match data defines an association between the first user data and the second user data. The system may generate a communication channel between a first user device and a second user device based on the match data.

Abstract: A method to forecast financial performance of companies is provided. The method comprises retrieving from a database news articles related to a number of companies published within a predefined time period. The news articles are classified as either ESG articles or non-ESG articles and then vectorized. A subset of relevant non-ESG articles are selected. The ESG and selected non-ESG articles are fed into a sentiment scoring model, which generates sentiment scores for the companies over the predefined time period. The sentiment scores are fed into an ESG forecast model along with historical market data and ESG data related to the companies. The ESG forecast model forecasts the financial performance of the companies in relation to ESG policies.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for optimizing execution of tasks for users. A processing system including a processor detects a triggering condition for a transport task for transporting a subject from a first location to a second location via usage of an autonomous vehicle, establishes a negotiated task coordination plan between a user and a third party provider for performing the transport task, and executes the negotiated task coordination plan, wherein the executing causes the autonomous vehicle to travel between the first location and the second location for transporting the subject.

Abstract: A system and method for managing latency of messages in an exchange system in response to removal of liquidity are disclosed. In one implementation, the system may include an exchange system, and a set of instructions to cause a processor of the exchange system to gather information on quote patterns. The monitored quote patterns are assessed against quote parameters maintained in system memory, and a latency adjustment is automatically made to delay messages from particular market participants removing liquidity in the exchange system. Market participants may be identified as aggressive market participants, and their subsequent liquidity removing orders delayed, based on predetermined quote pattern parameters.

Abstract: A personalized advertisement and checkout system and method for generating personalized merchant advertisements to specific device users includes a communications network, an advertisement system, at least one merchant administrator operable by a respective merchant user, at least one partner system and at least one user device operable by a respective device user. Each of the advertisement system, the merchant administrator, the partner system and the user device includes a processor and a memory in communication with the processor. Each of the merchant administrator and the user device includes a display and a user interface, the user interface of the merchant administrator receiving input from the respective merchant user and the user interface of the user device receiving input from the respective device user. The advertisement system ranks merchant campaigns entered by the merchant users and generates a list of merchant offer advertisements that is displayed on the user device.

Abstract: The application describes parallel solution generation. A data processing apparatus includes a memory including a computer program code, and at least two processors configured to execute the computer program code. The computer program code includes a component program run in parallel on at least two processors to generate solution components compiled in parallel of points, and to store the added solution components in the memory; and a solution program run in parallel on at least two processors to generate a solution by adding one solution component at a time, read from the memory, to the solution based on a key point, and to store the added solution component to the solution in the memory.

Abstract: Methods and devices for subscription offerings are disclosed. The device determines a set of subscription-based applications stored on the device and for each of the subscription-based applications, determines a service type. The device then determines a first subscription service to offer the user of the device via a graphical user interface of the device. After receiving acceptance of the offer for the first subscription service from the user, the device automatically establishes a customer account for the first subscription service. Then, the device downloads a first subscription service application, generates login information for the customer account, and performs a login to the customer account with the login information.

Abstract: A close marketplace is provided where the users' institutional affiliation, identity, and/or criminal record are verified in order to become members. Although an unregistered person may browse some of the posted listings, in order to buy, sell, contact, and/or meet another member of the marketplace, a person has to be affiliated with an approved institution, the person's real life identity has to be verified, and/or the person's criminal background has to meet a pre-determined criteria. The marketplace lowers the risk for the strangers who may want to interact with each other through a close circle of professionals. When two members are going to meet through the marketplace to buy and sell items, to rent, to be roommates, to date, etc., they have an assurance that each member has gone through a validation and verification process.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a cognitive automation based compliance management system. A computing platform may receive, via a network, an alert notification indicative of a change to a legal framework applicable to an enterprise organization. Subsequently, the computing platform may, in response to the alert notification, detect a task that may be impacted by the change. Then, the computing platform may, upon detecting the task, identify at least one task parameter associated with the task. Then, the computing platform may compare the at least one task parameter with the change to determine whether the task is impacted by the change. Subsequently, the computing platform may, upon a determination that the task is impacted by the change, recommend, via the network, one or more actions associated with the task.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a talent-identification system that can be used by companies to assist in the recruitment process for new employees. Additionally, the system can be used by job seekers to determine ideal career fields and industries. The system employs an array of neuroscience-based tests to assess a user's career propensities, after which the system can provide career recommendations to the user or report on employment suitability of the user to a company.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to estimate demographics of users employing social media. An example method disclosed herein includes (1) identifying a social media message regarding an asset, the social media message associated with a user identifier associated with the user, (2) determining demographics associated with a group of people exposed to the asset, (3) associating the user identifier with the asset, and (4) repeating (1) to (3). The example method also includes (5) combining demographics associated with two or more different groups of people with which the user identifier is associated to estimate a demographic profile for the user.

The method comprises receiving, in a memory of the server computing device, a set of land tract boundary data and a set of spacing unit boundary data from a plurality of data sources; defining, in a processor of the server computing device, based on standardizing the sets of land tract boundary data and spacing unit boundary data, a land tract polygon and a spacing unit polygon, the land tract and spacing unit polygons representing geo-located areas bounding a land tract and a spacing unit respectively; determining, in the processor, an intersection area defined in common between the land tract polygon and the spacing unit polygon; and allocating the interest in mineral rights based at least partly on the intersection area, an expected royalty rate, and an allocation factor attributable to at least one of a plurality of contributing sources associated with the mineral right.

Relationships are derived between a plurality of the grammatical elements. At least one derived relationship is used to update a profile for a customer. At least one derived relationship is used to identify a customer for which a remedial action is warranted.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a bid of an impression of a piece of content, while dynamically set at impression time, may be based on a base bid that is something of a rough indicator of what the estimated price will be. That base bid then is adjusted dynamically up or down at impression time. This base bid can be determined by dividing the expected number of impressions for a day by a total daily budget. The expected number of impressions may be determined by using the empirical number of impressions from the previous day. As such, in an example embodiment, the prediction of the number of impressions for a day utilizes a corrected version of the empirical number of impressions from the prior day, with the corrected version based on a specialized formula with weights trained by a machine learning algorithm.

Abstract: A hypergraph is constructed based on historical shopping cart data. A node of the hypergraph corresponds to a shopping basket, and a hyperedge of the hypergraph corresponds to a unique product, the hyperedge connecting all nodes of the hypergraph representing baskets containing the unique product. A hypergraph partition algorithm identifies a cluster of shopping baskets represented in the hypergraph and determined to be similar to a given basket. Based on the cluster of shopping baskets a dual-level return prediction is performed. The dual-level return prediction includes predicting whether the given basket will be returned, and based on predicting that the given basket will be returned, predicting a probability that a product in the given basket will be returned. Based on predicting that the given basket will be returned, an ameliorative action is performed to reduce the probability.

Abstract: In some examples, artificial intelligence and machine learning based incident management may include analyzing incident data related to a plurality of incidents associated with organization operations of an organization to train and test a machine learning classification model. Based on mapping of the organization operations to associated organizational key performance indicators, a corpus may be generated and used to determine an organizational key performance indicator that is impacted by each incident. New incident data related to a further plurality of incidents may be ascertained, and specified organizational key performance indicators associated with further organizational operations may be determined.
