  • Patent number: 9585306
Abstract: A method of spreading granular fertilizer includes driving a small framed truck over an electronically mapped area that is in need of granular fertilizer. As the small framed truck is driven over the mapped area, a GP S sensor is read to determine the location of the small framed truck on the mapped area. An electronic control determines the application rate of granular fertilizer needed to the left of the truck and the application rate of granular fertilizer needed to the right of the truck in relation to the location of the truck on the mapped area. The method includes dispensing left and right amounts of granular fertilizer from a hopper carried on the truck, with the left and right amounts being separately dispensed at rates determined in the determining step. Apparatus to carry out the method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9587777
Abstract: An anhydrous ammonia nurse tank coupling had a locking collar for securing a flow nozzle to a nurse tank fitting. A nipple is threadingly secured to the fitting and has a hexagonal-shaped section. A nozzle coupling extends about said flow nozzle for threadingly securing to the flow nozzle to the nipple. The nozzle coupling and the nipple have acme threads which are secured together, with a seal element extending between the nipple and the flow nozzle. A locking collar slidably disposed on said nozzle coupling, for moving from a retracted position disposed aside of the hexagonal-shaped section of the nipple to an extended position disposed adjacent to the hexagonal-shaped section and non-rotatably securing the locking collar to the nipple. The locking collar is non-rotatably secured to the nozzle coupling in the extended position, and non-rotatably secures the nozzle coupling to the nipple when in the extended position.

  • Patent number: 9586214
Abstract: A showerhead with convenient mode switching mechanism includes a stationary plate, a water diverting plate, a gearwheel, a sliding groove, a stopper, a rotary plate, a rear plate, a showerhead casing, a stopper holder, a spray face fixedly engaged with the rotary plate, and a dial protruding outward from the spray face. Manual rotation of the rotary plate clockwise or anticlockwise effects movement of the pin of the stopper which then turns the gearwheel and the water diverting plate for switching to a different spray mode. Upon discontinuance of the manual rotation of the rotary plate, the rotary plate and the pin of the stopper are then biased to return to their original positions.

  • Patent number: 9579668
Abstract: A spray nozzle assembly (10) comprising a cap (30) which houses an inner assembly of nozzle inserts (40). The cap (30) is threadably engaged by complementary threads (31, 21) to a nozzle body (20). The nozzle body (20) and the cap (30) are therefore able to be mated in a controllable axially compressive relationship in which the threadable connection enables a large amount of finely controlled axial tensile or compressive force to be applied in either moving the cap (30) and nozzle body towards each other or away. It should be noted, however, that seat (70) restrict the extent of axial travel of the screwable parts (20, 30, 40) relative to and towards each other. This facility enables strong unwanted adhesive forces of glue-like or set flowable material to be broken so that the cap (30), insert assembly (40) and nozzle body (20) can be moved apart for servicing.

  • Patent number: 9562348
Abstract: Sanitary throughflow element (1, 2, 30) which includes a throughflow rate regulator unit (5) having a carrier part (6) extending over the open cross section of a fluid line portion, the carrier part (6) having at least two inter-spaced insert openings (7) in which, respectively, a throughflow rate regulator (8) is arranged. Each throughflow rate regulator (8) has an elastic throttle body (9) which is round on the outer circumferential side in cross section and which delimits a control gap (10) between itself and a circumferential wall defining the insert opening (7). The throttle bodies (9) of the throughflow rate regulator (8) are compressed in the throughflow direction due to pressure of the through-flowing fluid such that this compression causes a circumferential widening of the throttle bodies (9) that constricts the control gap (10) determining a throughflow capacity of the throughflow rate regulator (8).

  • Patent number: 9533118
Abstract: In various arrangements, a nebulizer element of a nebulizer may be energized with a drive signal. A phase offset of the drive signal may be measured. A phase delta may be determined. The phase delta may indicate a difference between a target phase offset and the measured phase offset. The target phase offset may indicate a non-zero target phase difference between the voltage of the drive signal and the current of the drive signal. A frequency of the drive signal may be changed to decrease the phase delta.
