Abstract: A carrying bag suited for transporting hairstyling products. The carrying bag comprises a housing having a base, sidewalls, a rear wall, an open front, and an open upper end. A flap attached to the base is removably securable over the front and upper portions so as to enclose the interior volume of the housing. The housing may further include one or more handles or shoulder straps. An interior wall extends between opposing sidewalls and defines a front compartment and a rear compartment, wherein the rear compartment can be further subdivided into smaller compartments in which hairstyling products can be stored. The front compartment further includes a power strip having an electrical plug for securement to an electrical outlet and one or more sockets for connection to electrical hairstyling products.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a bottom portion comprising a spindle for receiving a quantity of floss. A first locking plate is operable for receiving a feed portion of the floss upon a horizontal surface. A plate extends from the first locking plate where a distal end of the plate engages the feed portion and a return portion of the feed portion returns back over the horizontal surface. An aperture enables an exiting portion of the return portion to exit the bottom portion. A top portion includes a spindle cap portion operable for engaging the spindle. A second locking plate is operable for engaging the first locking plate to substantially constrain the feed portion of the floss and the return portion. A stretching mechanism is joined to the second plate for applying a stretching force along a portion of the feed portion and a portion of the return portion.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for tapering artificial eyelashes include coupling artificial eyelashes to a first roller, and rotatably engaging at least a portion of the artificial eyelashes with an outer surface of a second roller. In an example, the outer surface of the second roller may include a friction element coupled thereto.

Abstract: A method of extending eyelashes is described herein. Specifically, an adhesive-based method of extending eyelashes is disclosed. The method can comprise wearing a ring on a first hand and manipulating forceps with a second hand. The ring can comprise a bowl, while the bowl can comprise eyelash adhesive. In addition, the method can comprise attaching a first side of an eye patch to a surface, attaching a tape on a second side of the eye patch, and supporting a plurality of loose extension lashes on the tape. The extension lashes on the tape can be removed with forceps. A portion of the eyelash extension can be dipped into the eyelash adhesive within the ring. Lastly, the method can comprise attaching the eyelash extension to a natural lash on a user.

Abstract: A hair extension integration system having a plurality of hairpieces, a headband and a plurality of barrettes, the system selectively integrating with the user's natural hair without the need of any other attachment devices. Hook and loop fastener material attaches the hairpieces to the headband and barrettes. The hook and loop fastener material faces away from natural hair and skin of the user, protecting the hair from snags and friction. The hair extensions are not limited to one size or color. The hook material is preferably on the hairpieces and the loop material is preferably on the headband and barrettes. The system has a kit comprising the hairpieces, the headband and at least one barrette.

Abstract: The present invention provides a rotary-push type cosmetic container. The rotary-push type cosmetic container includes: a lower case; an upper case opening up and closing down with respect to the lower case; an internal container disposed in the lower case and filled with a cosmetic through the back; a rotary plate having an extraction hole at the center and moving up the internal container by rotating about a middle case in the lower case; a piston combined to the lower portion of the rotary plate to generate pressure for extracting the cosmetic in the internal container; and a nozzle plate elastically moved up and down by a spring between the piston and the rotary plate.

Abstract: A dual-purpose hair styling and retention device including a curved handle having a top surface couplable to a user's head and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, the top surface and the bottom surface forming a hand gripping surface. The dual-purpose hair styling and retention device also includes a base pivotally coupled to the handle, the base having an upper surface and a bottom surface opposite the upper surface, the upper surface including a plurality of bristles coupled thereto. The dual-purpose hair styling and retention device further includes an extended configuration in which the handle extends from the base to expose the hand gripping surface and a hair-retention configuration in which the base is selectively coupled to the bottom surface of the handle to at least partially obstruct the hand gripping surface and expose the plurality of bristles.

Abstract: An electric flossing device includes a body, an electromechanical driving mechanism, and a flossing adapter that houses a flossing string insert. The flossing adapter has a head with forward extending arms. String floss is retained at the distal end portions of the arms and moves up-and-down and side-to-side to work the floss down between the user's teeth, while simultaneously scraping the teeth. The flossing adapter and flossing head remains stationary as the flossing string insert moves, to reduce fatigue and avoid injury to the user. This motion emulates manual flossing and permits the device to be moved forward and back slightly to follow the entire curvature of the tooth and ensure complete cleaning.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for a standing mirror having a round, flat mirror disposed in substantially the horizontal plane so that it faces upwardly allowing an operator to see hard to reach and see areas of the body. The mirror is disposed in a frame having a conventional razor disposed in a receptacle thereon along with lights disposed in the rim that make the mirror visible for use in darkened areas. Suction tubes disposed on the mirror remove cut hair into a pouch which hangs onto the side of the mirror. A plurality of supporting folding legs having telescoping sections and pivoting sections support the mirror.

Abstract: A shoulder assembly for connecting two arms of a hair styling apparatus, the shoulder assembly comprising: a housing; a first coupling member which is attached to the housing and which projects from the housing to couple the housing to a first arm; a second coupling member which is attached to the housing and which projects from the housing to couple the housing to a second arm; wherein both the first and second coupling members are flexible so that the first arm is movable relative to the second arm when the shoulder assembly is connected to the first and second arms.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning chandeliers includes a hand-held tank for holding hot water and a base supporting the hand-held tank. The base has a hollow interior. The tank has sidewalls, at least one of which is transparent. An air and water pump and a battery are mounted in the hollow interior. The battery is in electrical communication with the pump. A first inlet admits ambient air into an inlet of the pump and a second inlet admits water into the inlet. At least one air and water-emitting nozzle is formed in a sidewall of the tank. A pump outlet is in open fluid communication with the at least one water-emitting nozzle. The at least one nozzle discharges agitating water and bubbles into the hot water or above the water line, depending upon the water depth, to help dislodge chemicals and grease from chandelier parts immersed in the hot water.
