Abstract: A method for manufacturing a leather article including a flexible leather includes steps as follows. A leather precursor is provided, wherein the leather precursor includes a polymer material. A release member, the leather precursor and a pressing member are stacked in sequence to form a stacked set, wherein at least one of the release member and the pressing member is formed with a plurality of vents. The stacked set is heated and vacuumized to allow the polymer material to form the flexible leather, such that the leather precursor forms the leather article. The leather article is separated from the release member and the pressing member.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an article of footwear comprising a forefoot portion with a top layer and a bottom layer, where a void is formed between the top layer and the bottom layer. A heel portion is secured to the bottom layer of the forefoot portion and indirectly secured to the top layer through the bottom layer of the forefoot portion, the heel area forming a first portion of a collar. There is at least one extension extending from the heel portion that is secured to an edge of the top layer of the forefoot portion, and the extension forms at least a second portion of the collar.

Abstract: There is provided an open-palmed glove. The glove includes a first layer of material. The glove includes a second layer of material coupled to and extending about peripheral portions of the first layer of the material. There is also provided an open-palmed glove comprising a single material in the form of one of leather, leather suede, synthetic leather, and microfiber, with a lining coupled to said single material and forming an aperture aligned with the back of the glove. There is yet further provided use of an open-palmed glove for rock climbing. The glove consists of a single material on the back thereof. The single material touches both the hand and a rock that is being climbed. There is yet additionally provided a kit comprising a plurality of pairs of rock-climbing gloves of different sizes, each having its own color which corresponds to a color of a camming device.

Abstract: A high heel footwear including a heel tip assembly and a heel assembly. The heel tip assembly includes a top lift abutting against the heel, a rigid shaft member having a threaded portion, and a first wedge-lock feature configured to prevent the top lift from rotating. The heel assembly includes a threaded insert, a spring, a hollow insert, and a second wedge-lock feature. The threaded insert is received inside an opening formed in the heel to receive the threaded portion of the rigid shaft member. The spring is also received inside the opening and abuts against the threaded insert. The hollow insert abuts against the spring. The rigid shaft member passes through the threaded insert, the spring, and the hollow insert. The second wedge-lock feature locks with the first wedge-lock feature to retain the top lift on the end of the heel.

Abstract: Examples of a garment, such as a bra or sports bra, having cup pockets with concealed openings are described. The garment has openings into the cup pockets that are positioned on the side wings of the front portion of the garment. The side wings of the back portion of the garment and the side wings of the front portion of the garment at least partially overlap to conceal or hide the openings into the cup pockets.

Abstract: A seal for a garment comprising a body portion. The body portion having an upper edge, a lower edge, a first end and a second end. The lower edge fixed to the garment at an opening; and wherein the second end of the seal comprises a tab which is adapted to cover a portion of the first end to form a seal.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an elastic fabric including a latent crimped yarn according to an embodiment includes forming a raw fabric by knitting the latent crimped yarn and a polyester yarn, reducing the raw fabric, removing oil from the raw fabric, removing wrinkles of the raw fabric, followed by drying, dyeing the raw fabric, and removing wrinkles of the raw fabric, followed by drying to form the elastic fabric. The method can manufacture a highly elastic fabric having excellent recovery and color fastness to washing.

Abstract: An upper for an article of footwear is disclosed. The upper can include a plurality of layers, such as an inner layer, a middle knit layer, and an outer layer. Each of the plurality of layers can provide different functionalities to the upper. The combination of the inner layer, middle knit layer, and the outer layer can be effective at transferring a load from the underfoot region to a position above the biteline.

Abstract: The sleep sack can include a back panel, a front panel, and a flap. The sleep sack is used by placing the front panel over the back panel. The front panel extends from the shoulder to under the arm of the infant or toddler. The sleep sack is used by placing the flap over the front panel once placed. The flap extends from the shoulder to under the arm of the infant or toddler. The flap can be releasably attached to an outer surface of the sleep sack to adjust the compression of the torso of the infant or toddler.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes an upper defining an interior void and a first cable movable in a tightening direction to move the upper into a tightened state and movable in a loosening direction to move the upper into a loosened state. The article of footwear also includes a tightening grip operable to be moved away from the upper in a first direction to move the first cable in the tightening direction and a cable lock operable in a locked state to restrict movement of the first cable in the loosening direction and operable in an unlocked state to permit movement of the first cable in the loosening direction. A release grip is operable to be moved away from the upper in a second direction to move the cable lock from the locked state to the unlocked state, whereby the release grip is separate from the tightening grip.

The brim apparatus includes a center section having a size for fitting about a circumference of the sports helmet and a visor outwardly or radially extending from the center section. In one brim apparatus the center section features a stop surface that opposes an upper surface of the visor when the apparatus is affixed to the headgear such that the visor is prohibited from flipping upwards or sliding down or coming off during use.

Abstract: A device and method for protecting the hands, knuckles and fingers of a user using an elongate tool such as a straightening bar to apply a desired straightening force to a structure to be straightened, such as sheet metal structure, using a fulcrum-lever approach to apply straightening force to the structure. The hand protecting device may comprise a base portion and a grip portion molded in one piece. The user's hand may grip the device while the structure of the device prevents crushing of the user's hand when the device is used at the fulcrum point, between the elongate tool and a fulcrum structure. The device and method of the system allow the user to use their hand to make needed adjustments to the placement of the elongate tool to apply the desired straightening force, without crushing the hand of the user when the straightening force is applied.

Abstract: Present aspects are directed to a braided upper comprising a tubular braided structure, which comprises an internal cavity and a plurality of apertures. The yarn of the tubular braided structure surrounds a perimeter of each of the plurality of apertures. The braided upper comprises a midsole positioned within the internal cavity and comprising a plurality of braid-receiving features mated with the yarn of the tubular braided structure. The braided upper and the midsole are keyed to one another when the yarn is mated with the plurality of braid-receiving features.

Abstract: A swimming cap which prevents water from entering ears has a swimming cap main body; the swimming cap main body has a left side and a right side, each of which is symmetrically provided with an ear enclosing part for accommodating a human ear; each of the ear enclosing parts has an outer wall which protrudes outwards from an outer wall of the swimming cap main body; each of the ear enclosing parts has an inner wall which forms an enclosing space for enclosing the human ear which protrudes outwards from an inner wall of the swimming cap main body; each of the enclosing spaces has an outer edge which is provided with a waterproof edge in shape of an inclined trumpet at a connecting portion with the swimming cap main body. The present invention is simple and compact in structure and highly practical.

The garment many include a garment body; and, embedded in the garment body, at least one multi-sectional pad. At least two of the multi-sections may comprise: at least one aramid layer; at least one multi-durometer foam layer having a substantially similar surface area to that provided by the at least one aramid layer; and at least one shield layer.

Abstract: A visor and protective face shield apparatus having a transparent or non-transparent visor and a transparent face shield. The visor and face shield can be assembled from separate components or from a unitary blank using improved tabs and slots such that the face shield is supported by the visor.
