Abstract: A portable disinfectant container for an infant pacifier or infant nursing nipple, consisting of a half-oval shaped disinfectant container which is provided with a sponge that may be saturated with any appropriate non-toxic disinfectant solution. The disinfectant container is constructed of durable ABS plastic and has an attached hook for hanging on a purse, baby bag, stroller, or crib. The hinged lid of the disinfectant container may be flipped open and a pacifier or nipple inserted into a slit in the sponge for disinfectant purposes, the absorption qualities of the sponge preventing any type of spillage of the disinfectant.

Abstract: An improvement of laser record protection folder over U.S. Pat. No. 5,501,326. There is a rectangular shape bag element for holding either a laser record or an index printing. A "Y"-shape dividing line and a slot opening are formed in one of the two pieces of the bag element to facilitate the insertion or removal of the laser record or index printing. The dividing line forms a sealed envelope on the bag element and thus can prevent the recording surface of the laser record from smearing by user's hand or ambient dust and dirt.

Abstract: A label for applying to a CD includes a label adhering section and a detachable centering section integral therewith. The centering section is shaped so that the label registers exactly on center on the CD when the outside edge of the centering section abut the inside surfaces of the portable container in which the CD is housed.

Abstract: A kit for repairing an eyeglass frame that has lost a hinge pin comprises a container with at least one hinge pin therein, the hinge pin being locally plastically deformable at one end thereof, and instructions for installing the hinge pin in the frame. The replacement hinge pin is deformable either by softening or melting with a small flame or other heat source, or alternatively has a soft end portion which is mechanically deformable. The hinge pin has a first end with a diameter larger than a largest body diameter of a body of the pin and further has an easily detachable handling tab attached to the first end, the pin being again locally deformable at a second end thereof. In this case the a user inserts the pin into a hinge of the eyeglass frame, deforms a second end of the pin to give it a diameter greater than the maximum body diameter of the hinge pin, whereby the earpiece is pivotally secured by the pin, and then removes the tab.

Abstract: A mesh housing defining an interior cavity and enclosing side walls and top walls is fabricated of a coarse open mesh material. The housing includes access door apertures which facilitate the storage of toy articles within the mesh housing interior cavity. A plurality of toy articles such as toy action figures or the like are readily stored and displayed upon the outer surfaces of the mesh housing by engaging the coarse mesh housing and hanging the articles thereon. A variety of mesh materials and mesh styles are utilized. Alternate embodiments are shown setting forth cylindrical and triangular mesh housing shapes as well as free standing or wall and door attachment embodiments.

Abstract: The present invention is a holder for attachment to an article to be viewed in conjunction with listening to an audio recording. The audio recording is carriable in the holder for preventing the recording from becoming disassociated from the article so that the audio recording can be readily played while viewing the article. The holder includes a body having a first section, a second section and a third section. The third section is folded onto the second section. At least a portion of a periphery of the body is sewn so that the second section and the third section form a pocket for holding the recording. A releasable closing mechanism has first and second components where the first component is coupled to the first section and the second component is coupled to the third section. The first section releasably couples with the third section to form a flap to close the pocket. A coupling mechanism is coupled to the holder for coupling attachment to the article therewith.

Abstract: A basket-style carrier. The end panels are formed of overlapping end panel sections, the outer section of which is foldably connected to an upper portion of a central handle panel and the inner section of which is foldably connected to a lower portion of the handle panel. This results in an end panel formation which does not tend to collapse after a collapsed carrier is erected and also makes the carrier more rigid by tying in the full extent of the handle panel to the end panels.

Abstract: A distinctive composite article has a longitudinal, length dimension and a lateral, width dimension. The article includes a flexible outer shell portion having a shell length and a shell width. At least a portion of a flexible drape layer is substantially affixed to the shell portion, and the drape layer has a drape width which is larger than the shell width. Additionally, the drape layer may have a drape length which is larger than the shell length. The drape layer includes a first laterally extending fold line, a first longitudinally extending fold line and at least a second longitudinally extending fold line. The longitudinally extending fold lines provide for a laterally-folded drape width which is not more than the shell width. The drape layer may also include at least a second laterally extending fold line, and the laterally extending fold lines may also provide for a longitudinally-folded drape length which is not more than the shell length.

The packing structure comprises a polypropylene box, and upper and lower pressing members for sandwiching the container for containing semiconductor wafers, wherein both the upper and lower pressing members comprise an olefinic resin.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for packing end covers of paper rolls and a package for end covers (2, 2a) of paper rolls. In the method, end covers (2, 2a) are compressed in a pile in the axial direction of the pile, after which the end cover pile is wrapped in a protective paper (1) and the edges (1a) of the paper are folded and fastened onto the outermost end covers (2a) of the end cover pile. The apparatus has compression surfaces between which the end covers (2, 2a) are stacked, rotating reels on which the end cover pile can revolve when it is compressed so that the protective paper (1) can be wrapped around the end cover pile, and fixing means with which the edges (1a) of the protective paper (1) are folded over the outermost end covers (2a) and fastened onto them with glue.

Abstract: A new continuous carrier for surface mount or other electrical or mechanical parts, and a method of fabricating same, formed by molding one or a pair of continuous flexible film strips to a side or sides of a series of desired electrical or mechanical components such that the components are attached to the single strip or filament or suspended between the film strips or filaments. The film strips may be provided with sprocket holes or other equivalent structure for advancing the film strips during the molding process and for reeling up the resultant assembly onto a reel for sale or distribution to a PCB assembler. The latter places the reel of molded parts onto a conventional feeding device. The parts are then separated from the supporting strips or filament, picked-up by a pick-and-place device and placed onto the PCB in the normal manner. The filament or strip may be constituted of plastic, paper or metal.

The device may be a plate comprising a recess to receive such planar object and a central clamp for the round receiving aperture of such planar object. The receiving plate comprises at least on one side, and in the vicinity of its edge, two mutually spaced boreholes for "threading" or stacking, for instance when using bar-shaped retainers or ring-binders. The boreholes each communicate through a slot of lesser width than the borehole diameters with the side edge of the receiving plate. Incisions are formed on and near both sides of the slots to form resilient wall portions bounding the slots.

The eyeglass holder has a front generally rigid side and a back generally rigid side. The front and back sides define an eyeglass receiving space therebetween. The eyeglass holder has an edge affixed to a bottom side of the case. The eyeglass holder extends upwardly from the bottom side. The eyeglass holder is positioned generally centrally between the front side and the back side and has an opening facing the top of the case. A section of flexible material extends between the front and back rigid sides and includes a zipper extending therealong.

Abstract: A multiple tier dessert container includes a container, a lid, a plurality of trays, and at least one handle. The container has a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side. The perimeter of the first end of the container is terminated with an angled edge of uniform thickness. The recessed cavity extends around the perimeter thereof, and is sized to be received by the angled edge of the container such that the lid snugly fits onto the container. The first side and second side have a plurality of ledges which are formed therein. Each tray has a length, a width and at least one area for storing decorated desserts. The size of the storage area is dictated by the size of decorated dessert. The width of each tray is sized to slidably fit in the container. The length of each tray is sized to firmly fit between an attached lid and the second end of the container.

Abstract: A packet for wet tissue, has a packet containing wet tissues, and a lid unit having a sliding lid for covering and uncovering a tissue dispensing opening. The lid unit is fitted in an opening formed in the pouch and is attached to the periphery of the opening. The lid unit has a base plate provided with the tissue dispensing opening and a lid supporting part formed so as to surround the tissue dispensing opening. The sliding lid is supported horizontally slidably on the lid supporting part to cover and uncover the tissue dispensing opening. The tissue dispensing opening is sealed when the lid is closed.
