Abstract: A display apparatus includes a shroud having first and second sheet portions disposed in opposition to one another, the first and second sheet portions being connected to one another at a first side by a first joint and at a second side by a second joint. A support member is disposed between the first and second sheet portions and between the first and second joints, the support member being affixed to the first and second sheet portions and movably disposed relative to the first and second joints, the support member being positionable between a closed position and an open position, the open position outwardly biasing the support member against the first and second sheet portions to cause the shroud to assume a curvilinear cross-sectional shape along a length of the shroud. Notches are formed in the first and second joints at a first position along the length of the shroud.

Abstract: An armrest for a vehicle seat can inhibit liquid droplets formed due to condensation from entering inside of the armrest when cup holders are tilted. The armrest comprises a cup holder portion, a wall-like first blocking portion, and a wall-like second blocking portion. The first blocking portion is provided toward a pivot center line relative to the cup holder portion, extends parallel to the pivot center line, and projects upwardly when the armrest is in the stored position. The second blocking portion extends in a vicinity of a root of the first blocking portion parallel to extending directions of the first blocking portion to be interposed between the cup holder portion and the pivot center line. The second blocking portion comprises at least one first through hole that penetrates the second blocking portion for communication from the cup holder portion toward the pivot center line.

Abstract: This invention relates to hand cast fishing apparatus which may support a conventional fishing reel to provide the benefits that a fishing reel provides combined with the simplicity and relative compactness of hand cast fishing apparatus. For this purpose the fishing apparatus provides a handpiece supporting a line guide for direct finger monitoring of the set fishing line and from which the line may be hand cast. The fishing reel of choice is attached to a mounting which extends from the handpiece and mounts to the user's forearm.

Abstract: An adjustably-sized and shaped picture frame formed of corner pieces around which are looped or woven one or more filaments such as colored yarns to form the frame borders. The frames created can be customized to various shapes and sizes. The corner pieces may be molded or molded and machined, and may have a diamond shape with inner side edges that align with outer corners of a sheet of artwork. The filament is woven around posts on both a front face and an outer corner of the corner pieces. A chamfer under a lower face of each corner piece may be used to secure free ends of the filament.

Abstract: A display card holder including a sleeve for a printed card and a sleeve holder defining a cavity open at one end to receive a sleeve end section having a pair of cutouts. The cavity defines a sleeve-receiving channel having a width providing clearance to the sleeve thickness. A button member movably supported by a sleeve holder body defines an actuator portion exposed to an outside of the sleeve holder. The button member includes wings extending from opposite sides of the actuator button. A spring biases the button member in a first direction with respect to the body of the sleeve holder. Each wing is formed to include: a pin adapted to extend through a corresponding one of the cutouts, and an elongate first edge forming a pivot about which the button member is pivotable with respect to the sleeve holder body.

Abstract: An animal trap comprising a trap (106, 102, 302) section having at least one moveable wall section (136, 228, 314), being moveable with respect to one or more other walls of the trap section to thereby alter the size of the trap section; animal detection means (138, 242, 306) operable to detect the presence of an animal within the trap section and adapted to signal such a presence to control means, which control means is operable, upon receipt of said signal, to cause movement of the moveable wall section (136, 228, 314) and thus alter the size of the trap section.

Abstract: A decorated tab for a beverage container has a lift end, a nose end, and central webbing. An enclosed portion of the central webbing has a coating. A symbol is located on the enclosed region which is created by selective removal of the coating by a laser ablation. The symbol has a boundary profile defining a perimeter of the symbol generated by a continuous, uninterrupted vectorized laser dot pattern defining regions of ablated coating. The symbol has an interior portion generated by a plurality of pulsed rasterized laser dots defining further regions of ablated coating.

Abstract: The present application relates to a paper picture frame including a central rectangular portion and four rectangular tubular frame sections extending along four margins of the central rectangular portion at the rear surface thereof. The paper picture frame further includes a paper stand for holding the paper picture frame on a flat surface. The paper stand may be in the form of a triangular tubular structure formed by a base panel, a first side panel, and a support panel. A second side panel extends from the base panel over the support panel, and has a terminating end extending beyond the first side panel. A blank for forming the paper picture frame and a method for holding a picture in the paper picture frame supported on the paper stand are also disclosed.

Abstract: Wearable items having wear-susceptible areas or indicia for influencing an emotional or psychological state, after a progressive amount of wear occurs on the area or indicia, are disclosed. The wearable item comprises a substrate that includes wear-susceptible areas, wear-susceptible indicia, and/or a combination of wear-susceptible areas and indicia. One or more wear-susceptible areas incorporate markings and/or indicia such as words, pictures, symbols, which progressively “wear away.” These phrases, symbols, and pictures can relate to emotional and/or psychological obstacles and impediments, which are adversarial in nature.

Abstract: A device for displaying a document comprises a front transparent planar sheet and a rear planar sheet, each sheet having three edges that are coterminous with and permanently affixed to a corresponding edge of the other sheet, thereby forming an envelope having three sealed edges and an open end. The device further comprises an adhesive strip affixed to either the front sheet or the rear sheet and positioned across the open end between the front and rear sheets to selectively seal the open end, an interior edge seal positioned interiorly to the three sealed edges, thereby forming a double edge seal along the three sealed edges, and a first corner seal and a second corner seal, each extending onto but not all the way through the adhesive strip on opposite ends of the open end.

Abstract: A license plate locking system is provided that will prevent theft of a license plate. The license plate locking system of the present invention comprises a locking bar, wherein said locking bar comprises a two hollow bodies. Each hollow body provide access to a plate holder device, such as a screw, wherein said plate holder device is positioned inside said hollow body and covered by non-removable cover with resilient properties rendering the screws inaccessible. This prevents the removal of the registration tags or license plate by unauthorized persons.

Abstract: A display tool includes a display part, a back part, a stable part, a leg part, and a bottom part. The display part is disposed in its erected state. The back part has its upper edge connected to an upper edge of the display part and is disposed behind the display part such that a distance between the back part and the display part gradually increases from the upper edges to lower edges of the back part and the display part. The stable part protrudes downwardly along the back part from a portion of the lower edge of the back part. The leg part protrudes downward direction from the remaining portion of the lower edge of the back part at an angle less than an angle at which the back part slants. The bottom part is connected to a lower edge of the display part and to a lower edge of the leg part. The stable part is disposed such that its lower edge is in abutment with an upper surface of the bottom part.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of display modules, assemblies of display modules, and systems of display modules. Display modules have a plurality of light emitting elements arranged in a predetermined pattern and providing a highly uniform visual effect. Alignment and complementary alignment features enable the alignment of adjacent display modules and the creation of large displays from a plurality of aligned display modules. Features to grip and retain a support frame are provided. Modules and systems have features that permit installation and removal from the front side of the display. A system of modular support frames works cooperatively with the display modules, adapting to different mounting environments, and thereby providing large modular displays with desirable properties.

Abstract: A color changing display system is provided that includes a light source for producing different light colors, a controller for providing a smooth transition between the different light colors, and a body with a combined image comprising two or more differently colors images printed in a single layer and positioned on the body. Each of the different color images reacts with a respective color of the different light colors such that an appearance of the combined image changes gradually from a first display image having one particular shape into a second display image having a second particular shape in response to the different light colors interacting with the combined image to produce a moving, seemingly holographic effect. The combined image may be back-lit or front-lit.

Abstract: A fishing rod with convenient devices for measuring a length and a weight of a fish, includes a display; a weight sensor, a measuring control unit, including a processor, a non-transitory memory, an input/output, a weighing manager, a communication manager, and a data bus; a measuring assembly, including an assembly body, an axle, a spring-loaded mechanism, and a retractable hook connector; a weighing hook, and a cavity for storing the weighing hook, wherein the retractable hook connector, is configured to show a length between a lower end of the fishing rod and a lower end of the weighing hook. The retractable hook connector can be a retractable tape measure or a retractable cord.

Abstract: A display system that temporarily but securely displays a variety of large-sized interchangeable display objects atop vehicle rooftops for eye-catching public broadcast. The display system comprises a display object and a common, reusable base. The display object combines an art ornament with a display object connection assembly that matingly connects to a base connection assembly without the use of tools. The base is releasably secured to vehicle rooftops using an array of magnets. Intended for personal use, the display system is designed to be more convenient and aesthetic than commercial displays allowing users to display a variety of interchangeable display objects with associated art ornaments, communicating different messages based on changes in the seasons, their activities and interests, their mood, or other factors.
