  • Patent number: 10668767
Abstract: A coating film transfer tool in which a rotational torque with the least variability may be generated without being affected by a surface state of a resilient body may include: a paying-out core having a coating film transfer tape wound thereon; and a rewinding core that rewinds the coating film transfer tape after use. The paying-out core and the rewinding core are interlocked via a power transmission mechanism in a case. The transmission mechanism generates a rotational torque by a frictional force on a sliding surface between components, by using a restoring force of a resilient body. The resilient body is configured to rotate integrally with a component A that comes into contact with one end of the resilient body and a component B that comes into contact with the other end.

  • Patent number: 10633200
Abstract: When being sealed, insulating glass blanks (5) are held in a sealing station (2) gripped at the base by grippers (17) of a gripper arrangement (16) and/or by suction heads (15) and rest at the top against a roller beam (7) fitted with rollers (8). As the insulating glass blank (5) is sealed, only the nozzle (11) of a sealing assembly (10) moves along the outer edge of the insulating glass blank (5), which is stationary during the sealing process. When the lower edge of an insulating glass blank (5) is sealed, grippers (17) engaging the lower edge are released and move away downwards. Sealed insulating glass is removed from the sealing station (2) by a removal robot (24) onto the side opposite the sealing assembly (10), moved to a temporary store and placed therein on A-bearing supports (29) and fan frames (30) sorted according to production lots.

  • Patent number: 10505200
Abstract: An electrolyte membrane with a backsheet is sent out from an electrolyte membrane unwinding roller, and is separated with its second side sucked on a suction roller by a first press roller. While the electrolyte membrane from which the backsheet has been separated is transported with the electrolyte membrane sucked and supported on the suction roller, an electrode ink is applied to a first side of the electrolyte membrane to form an electrode ink layer, which is dried by blowing hot air thereto to form a catalyst layer. Thereafter, in a state in which the outer surface of a second press roller disposed close to the suction roller is in contact with and supported on the first side of the electrolyte membrane, a support film is pressed against the second side of the electrolyte membrane by a third press roller and attached thereto to manufacture a catalyst-coated membrane.

  • Patent number: 10421684
Abstract: Certain example embodiments of this invention relate to vacuum insulating glass (VIG) units having improved seals made using two different frit-based edge seal materials, and/or methods of making the same. In certain example embodiments, a first frit material is applied around peripheral edges of first and second glass substrates. The first frit material, which may be bismuth-based in certain example embodiments, is fired with a heat treatment (e.g., thermal tempering) process. A second frit material, which may be VBZ-based in certain example embodiments, is applied and at least partially overlaps with the fired first frit material. The first frit material acts as a primer, and the second frit material helps seal together the VIG unit. The second frit material is fired at a significantly lower temperature that enables the glass to retain the temper or other strength imparted by the heat treatment.
