Abstract: A horizontal band saw machine includes a pair of jaws, a pair of saw blade wheels, a band saw blade looped over the saw blade wheels, a pair of saw blade guides, a contact guide attached to the other of the pair of jaws, a coupling bracket connected to the other of the pair of saw blade guides to locate a distal end thereof below the other of the pair of saw blade wheels, and a follower member provided at the distal end of the coupling bracket. The contact guide and the coupling bracket are configured to move one of the pair of saw blade guides until the follower member contacts with the contact guide when the band saw blade is fed circularly in a state where the band saw blade is clamped by the one of the pair of saw blade guides.

Abstract: A power tool assembly includes a workpiece support surface, a latch movable between a first latch position whereat a drop arm assembly cannot be moved from a first position whereat a shaping device does not extend above the workpiece support surface to a second position whereat the shaping device extends above the workpiece support surface, to a second latch position whereat the drop arm assembly can be moved from the first position to the second position, an actuator housing configured to receive an actuator device, and a reaction plug configured to be selectively seated with the actuator housing, the reaction plug configured such that when an actuator device is installed in the actuator housing and the reaction plug is moved from an unseated position to a fully seated position, the reaction plug forces the actuator device to move the latch from the first latch position to the second latch position.

For performing cutting, opening and closing, the cutting tool includes a pair of handles pivotally connected to each other and each handle having a blade. The control device is set on the handle and involved in opening or closing of the blades of the cutting tool. The control device includes a first component and a second component. The first and the second components are connected to and locked with each other tightly by a fastening structure. The control device is disposed on the handle closely, without loosening from the handle.

Abstract: A food slicer includes a frame for supporting a landing and a runway, which is movable relative to the landing. A cutting blade is secured on an upstream end of the landing. A separate cutting knife is moveably connected to the frame. An adjustment mechanism is connected to the frame to adjust an offset between the cutting blade and the runway. The adjustment mechanism includes first and second guide tracks provided on respective first and second movable cam plates, and a gear mechanism for moving the first and second cam plates along a length direction of the food slicer.

Abstract: A lottery ticket distribution device (10) for dispensing scratch-off lottery tickets, which includes; a housing, a lottery ticket feeding device, a cutter (36), a guiding press plate (38), and a guiding press plate drive device and a control device (23). The guiding press plate drive device includes a linear electromagnet (50), a lever (51), a pulling plate (52) and a spring (53). The linear motion of the linear electromagnet (50) pushes the lever (51) to rotate, and the rotation of the lever (51) drives the pulling plate (52) and the guiding press plate (38) connected to the pulling plate (52) to rotate, so that a lottery ticket tape (16) is bent toward the cutter (36). The lottery tickets feeding device makes the lottery tickets to roll back, thereby a lottery ticket is separated.
