Abstract: Base cup for receiving a container body bottom and for reducing heat gain to fluid contents in the container body. A passive base cup is made of foam and has a reflective layer on a majority of the outer surface thereof, or made of plastic, with an outer reflective layer, and optionally a foam layer. An active base cup serves to actively cool the fluid in the container, by including a compartment therein with a fluid that can be frozen. Again, a reflective layer and an optional foam layer extend over a majority of the outer surface of the cup. The reflective layer materials have a density different than the cup materials to facilitate recycling.

Abstract: A sealable plastic bottle that can be relatively effortlessly manipulated at anytime and any place to cause a pleasing and highly colorful chemiluminescent reaction to occur. The bottle can be securely sealed and can be used to carry drinking water or soft drinks and one that can conveniently be used at the same places for the same activities and at the same times as conventional plastic water bottles and like sealed drink containers. Additionally, the bottle includes a removable closure cap and is uniquely constructed so as to provide secure containment of chemiluminescent fluids between the inner and outer walls of the bottle construction.

Abstract: An insulating cover for a container has a substantially cylindrical sidewall member and a contiguous bottom member. The sidewall and bottom members are preferably formed from a thin sheet of insulating material. The sidewall member has end sections that overlap in an unexpanded orientation. The bottom member has an annular portion than can be adapted to engage the bottom of the container. In another embodiment, a number of substantially identical tabs engage the bottom of the container. The tabs extend from the inner radius of the bottom member annular portion toward the axis of the sidewall member, and are spaced apart so that they do not overlap.

Abstract: A container includes a container body with an accommodating space including central and surrounding regions. A plurality of coolant vessels are retained detachably in the surrounding region by a plurality of retaining members against falling towards the central region. The vessels can be filled with coolant so as to keep the accommodating space, in which wine bottles are received, in a cool condition. A bottom wall of the container body is provided with a plurality of spacers so as to space the wine bottles from the bottom wall.

A metal cage rests against the inner container and is formed of crossing horizontal and vertical cage rods of metal. The flexible inner container has an inner envelope of a plastic foil and an outer envelope of a woven material. The inner container is fastened to at least one of an upper frame of the metal cage and a protective cover of the metal cage. The inner envelope is positioned in the outer envelope of the inner container.

Abstract: A collection device for the collection and disposal of cigarette butts, cigar butts, and other small combustible debris found in and around smoking areas. The collection device includes a body member within which is defined a receptacle chamber and a funnel-shaped throat passage communicating with the receptacle chamber. The body member has an attached throat passage extension that has side portals which communicate with the throat passage. As debris is received through the side portal, it is directed along the throat passage and into the receptacle chamber for collection.

Abstract: A serving tray partially surrounding a beverage holder with which it is integrally molded to form a single, one piece unit. The beverage holder extends downwardly of the tray and serves both as a container and as a handle. Fluids can be stored in the beverage holder itself and consumed therefrom, using a straw. Alternately, a canned beverage or standard size disposable drinking cup can be snap-fitted within the beverage holder. Disposed with bilateral symmetry about the longitudinal centerline of the beverage holder, the tray extends generally perpendicularly therefrom, as does a flat surface on the bottom of the beverage holder, so that when the latter rests upright on a table, the tray extends approximately horizontally. Within the tray itself is situated a plurality of watertight, shallow open compartments, separated from each other by at least one dividing wall whose distal ends link an outer wall of the tray with the side wall of the beverage holder.

Those two sections are together in one integral unit and are releasably attachable to a conventional paint container. Each of a pair of covers selectively closes the openings in the tubular body. Each of the covers is adapted for threadably engaging one of the lips. A first cup is positionable over a first of the covers and frictionally engages the first cover. A second cup is positionable over a second of the covers. The second cup has a diameter generally equal to a diameter of the tubular body and is adapted for frictionally engaging the peripheral wall.

Abstract: An improved structure of foldable receiving bin by which all the side plates of the receiving bin are provided on the connecting ends thereof to an upper frame and a lower base plate of the receiving bin with engaging portions, the receiving bin can be firmly engaged and fixed when it is unfolded or folded; the bin is comprised of a cover plate, an upper frame, a lower base plate, two foldable plates and two lateral side plates. The foldable plates are connected between the upper frame and the lower base plate; while the lateral side plates are pivotally connected beneath the upper frame; the upper frame is pivotally connected with the cover plate which is comprised of a left cover plate and a right cover plate connected by engaging with each other. When the bin is unfolded for use, the engaging portions at the connecting ends between the two foldable plates and the two lateral side plates make the assembly of the receiving bin firm.

Abstract: An insulator wrap for a beverage container is formed by a substantially rectangular body of insulation material. A self-coiling spring strip is embedded in the body along approximately the longitudinal center line. Because the spring strip is curved in lateral cross section, the wrap is held straight when uncoiled to allow easy storage and handling when not in use. Simple manual pressure frees the spring strip to self-coil inwardly to cause the wrap to extend around the container for use. Extended portions of the rectangular body isolate the spring strip from the edges of the body. In one embodiment, the extended body portions are one and one half times as wide as the spring strip. A foam insert is positioned within the elongated concave trough of the spring strip to provide a substantially smooth display surface for graphics and indicia in either the uncoiled or self-coiled states.
