  • Patent number: 11439920
Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile terminal with a call function or a texting function. The present invention controls the use of a mobile terminal by a manual operation because of an incoming call during movement. Location information indicating movement of a mobile terminal with a call or a message data exchange function is received by a GPS receiver, the distance and the movement speed are determined by using the measurement information of the two locations at every predetermined time, and whether or not the mobile terminal is moving in accordance with the movement speed is determined by a movement determination unit. When it is determined by the movement determination unit that the mobile terminal is moving, the display of incoming call information indicating an incoming call is set to non-displayed on the display unit, and at the same time, a notification sound from a speaker, etc. is invalid.

  • Patent number: 11438023
Abstract: An electronic device may include a first set of radios subject to a specific absorption rate (SAR) limit and a second set of radios subject to a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) limit over an averaging period. Control circuitry may dynamically adjust radio-frequency (RF) exposure metric budgets provided to the radios over the averaging period, based on feedback reports from the radios identifying the amount of SAR and MPE consumed by the radios during different subperiods of the averaging period. The control circuitry may distribute and adjust SAR budgets and MPE budgets across the radios based on the feedback reports, distribution policies, radio statuses, transmit activity factors, and/or usage ratios associated with the radios. This may provide efficient utilization of the total available SAR and MPE budget, thereby leading to increased uplink coverage and throughput relative to scenarios where the SAR and MPE budgets remain static.

  • Patent number: 11395235
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may signal power control parameters per configured grant to enable a user equipment (UE) to adjust a transmit power for an uplink message signaled by the configured grant. For example, the base station may transmit the power control parameters in a group-common downlink message to the UE. Accordingly, based on the power control parameters, the UE may or may not apply the power adjustment to a baseline transmit power initially signaled by the base station. In some cases, the base station may signal two power control parameters for the UE to transmit the uplink message. For example, a first power control parameter may include a transmit power control (TPC) command for transmission of the uplink message, and a second power control parameter may include a power adjustment value for transmission of the uplink message.
