  • Patent number: RE47092
Abstract: An oxygen emitter which is an electrolytic cell is disclosed. When the anode and cathode are separated by a critical distance, very small microbubbles and nanobubbles of oxygen are generated. The very small oxygen bubbles remain in suspension, forming a solution supersaturated in oxygen. A flow-through model for oxygenating flowing water is disclosed. The use of supersaturated water for enhancing the growth of plants is disclosed. Methods for applying supersaturated water to plants manually, by drip irrigation or in hydroponic culture are described. The treatment of waste water by raising the dissolved oxygen with the use of an oxygen emitter is disclosed.

  • Patent number: RE47630
Abstract: An approach for forming a semiconductor device is provided. In general, the device is formed by providing a metal layer, a cap layer over the metal layer, and an ultra low k layer over the cap layer. A via is then formed through the ultra low k layer and the cap layer. Once the via is formed, a barrier layer (e.g., cobalt (Co), tantalum (Ta), cobalt-tungsten-phosphide (CoWP), or other metal capable of acting as a copper (CU) diffusion barrier) is selectively applied to a bottom surface of the via. A liner layer (e.g., manganese (MN) or aluminum (AL)) is then applied to a set of sidewalls of the via. The via may then be filled with a subsequent metal layer (with or without a seed layer), and the device may the then be further processed (e.g., annealed).

  • Patent number: RE49414
Abstract: A power tool has a fan guide for straightening the flow of cooling air generated by a fan, wherein the branching passages through are provided for causing a portion of the cooling air drawn into the fan from a ventilation hole to diverge from a flow toward an exhaust port formed on a bearing guide side, and the portion of the cooling air flows toward an inlet and thereby circulates inside a housing. The branching passages through provided to the fan guide are formed so as to be inclined in the same direction as a circumferential direction so that air path resistance during actual operation (in an intermediate-speed region) does not increase.
