Abstract: A drawer slide includes a first slide channel telescopically mounted for longitudinal movement in a second slide channel. The first channel includes a cantilever spring latch which engages the second slide channel when the first slide channel is extended to a fully telescoped position associated with a fully open drawer supported by the first channel. The first slide channel further includes a longitudinally movable manual release lever, which is slidable to engage and release the spring latch and thus allow the first channel to be slidably translated into the second channel thereby allowing the attached drawer to be moved to the closed position. The first slide channel further includes a second cantilever spring latch that limits the opening movement of the first channel. Both spring members may be released by an auxiliary release lever.

The solar power supply arrangement includes a solar collecting device supported by the main supporting stem, wherein the solar collecting device has a collecting surface arranged to expose to sunlight for extensively collecting solar energy.
Abstract: An elongated truss boom structure is adapted to be flattened and coiled to a stowed configuration. The truss boom includes longerons, battens, and diagonals A fixed ladder shaped structure is formed by a plurality of fixedly coupled battens which interconnect two adjacent longerons. The truss boom is flattened for stowage by arranging all of the longerons coplanar to the plane of the fixed ladder shaped structure. The longerons preferably have a corrugated cross section. For stowage the longeron is heated and compressed into a ribbon shaped cross section, and upon deployment the longeron is heated to restore its corrugated cross section. A mechanical assembly machine includes a drum, a stowed flattened truss boom rolled into a coil around the drum, a device for unrolling the coil, an actuating and locking mechanism, and a control arm which connects the actuating and locking mechanism to the drum.

Abstract: A shelf assembly has expandable shelves connected to upright legs that horizontally support the shelves in a locker. A drawer slidably mounted on one shelf for movement between open and closed positions engages a longitudinal rib to maintain the drawer generally horizontal when the drawer is moved to the out position. The drawer when in the closed position can be moved into a nested position in the shelf to facilitate packaging and display in a flat box. The legs having tight fit connections with the corners of the shelf.
Abstract: A lifting apparatus for a two-leaf folding flap, whose upper leaf is hinged to a top or partition wall of a cupboard around a horizontal first axle and whose lower leaf is pivotally connected to the upper leaf around a second axle parallel to the first axle, comprises at least one two-armed lever which is pivotally mounted to a side body part around a horizontal pivot axle and whose longer arm is linked to the lower leaf. One end of the compressing spring element is pivotally connected to the body part and the other end is pivotally connected to the lever. To prevent the leaf from coming into contact with the end surfaces of body parts of the cupboard closed by the folding flap, the lever is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner on its pivot axle and the shorter lever arm is guided in a cam guide fixed to the body via a slide block or a roller.
Abstract: A modular, self contained room that can be assembled within a building structure or built at one location and moved into a building structure. The room will have a battery operated electrical system, a self-contained air system and the walls will have a fireproof gel enclosing and protecting the wiring for the electrical system.
Abstract: A rotating shelf assembly having at least one rotating shelf array rotatabiy mounted to a base closet. Each rotating shelf array has a rotating shelf array top, rotating shelf array floor, rotating shelf array side wall, rotating shelf array flat back, rotating shelf array curved back, and adjustable shelves. Edges of the rotating shelf array top, rotating shelf array floor, rotating shelf array floor and rotating shelf array curved back define a rotating shelf array mouth, through which the adjustable shelves may be accessed. Each rotating shelf array is rotatably attached to a base closet. The storage closet may have storage closet doors to permit access to items stored behind the base closet. Alternate embodiments include a rotating shelf array sized to be mounted to a storage room wall step, and a clam-shell rotating shelf array designed to be mounted to a flat wall.
Abstract: A removable, spill-proof refrigerator shelf includes a glass shelf panel, a one-piece molded plastic frame member extending about the periphery of and supporting the glass shelf panel, and an adhesive injected into a channel created by the frame member for sealingly fixing the shelf panel within the frame member. The top of the adhesive is made flush with the top surface of the shelf panel, thereby forming a substantially continuous and easily cleaned surface. An integral outer rim is provided about the periphery of the frame member and acts as a barrier to prevent any liquid spilled on the shelf from flowing onto shelves and/or food below.
Abstract: A storage and retrieval device for compact discs (CD's) that includes a storage box divided into a plurality of CD storage units, each storage unit adapted to hold two CD's. An ejector arm is slidably positioned on, and rotatable about, a pivot rod. The ejector arm has an ejector finger located on its inner end. Upon rotation of the ejector arm about the pivot rod, the ejector finger contacts the lower end of the CD's located within the two CD receiving slots of a selected storage unit, and raises the CD's into position for retrieval.
Abstract: A bulk merchandise-vending machine with a base supporting a merchandise storage member, a mechanism plate positioned to form a closure member for the base and removable therefrom by a forward pivotal movement about its bottommost edge while the storage member is tilted slightly upwardly about its rearmost edge, wherein the front of the storage member is provided with a locking element cooperative with a lock carried by the mechanism plate and operable positively to prevent the storage member from tilting about its rear lower edge and separate from the mechanism plate, whereby unauthorized access to the mechanism carried by the mechanism plate and/or a coin receptacle there behind is positively prevented.
Abstract: A cabinet for storing vertically stacked items has a stabilizer. The cabinet has a door and a fixed base, the stabilizer adding to the total support base of the cabinet when extended. If fully extended, the stabilizer prevents tipping if the center of gravity of the cabinet shifts beyond the fixed base. The door automatically engages and extends the stabilizer when the door is initially opened from a closed position. The door continues to engage and extend the stabilizer until the stabilizer is fully extended. Once the stabilizer is fully extended, the door disengages the stabilizer if the door continues to be opened. When closed, the door returns to automatically re-engage and retract the stabilizer. If the stabilizer has been partially retracted during the interval in which the door has been open, the door will still re-engage and retract the stabilizer.
Abstract: A table-top refrigerator includes a refrigerated chamber equipped with trays disposed one on top of the other in the form of a filter, which may be drawn out of the refrigerated chamber by telescopic extensions. One of the trays has an opening edge stepped such as to slope in the directions of displacement and a tray disposed over the above has a stepped tray floor. The backward facing sections are, thus, substantially congruent in form.
Abstract: A working table includes a housing, a board slidably received in the housing, and a casing secured to the board and moved in concert with the board. A post is slidably engaged through the housing and the casing and has a rack, a spindle is rotatably secured in the housing and slidably engaged through the casing, to guide the casing to move relative to the housing. A gear is rotatably secured in the casing and engaged with the rack of the post, and a worm is slidably engaged on the spindle and engaged with the gear, in order to move the post up and down when the spindle and the worm is rotated relative to the casing and the housing.
