Abstract: A computer-implemented method for reducing cookie traffic in browser communication is provided. The method sends, by a browser to a domain, a first request resulting in a returned cookie. The returned cookie includes a category tag. The method adds the returned cookie to a set of cookies for the browser. The category tag of the returned cookie is added to a related category tag in a browser tag list. The method sends, by the browser to a server of the domain, a second request resulting in a returned list of required category tags. The method sends a selected cookie with a category tag relating to at least one required category tag of the list of required category tags for the server. The selected cookie is selected from the set of cookies and the category tag for the selected cookie occurs within the browser tag list.

  • Patent number: 11184321
Abstract: A computer-based method includes receiving, by at least one first server managed by a first domain name registrar, a search string that identifies a desired domain name by a potential owner. The desired domain name is determined to be available for transfer. A firm domain name transfer request for the desired domain name is received from the potential owner and sent to at least one domain name aftermarket server operating an Aftermarket Platform. An approval notification is received that the firm domain name transfer request is approved by the current owner. An authorization code for authorizing an electronic transfer of the desired domain name is received and utilized to transfer the desired domain name from a second domain name registrar to an account of the potential owner with the first domain name registrar so that the potential owner becomes a new owner of the desired domain name.

  • Patent number: 11153144
Abstract: Automated fault correction in a network environment comprises identifying a pattern in a set of network events and generating a set of substantiating data for the identified patterns. The method can also identify an occurrence probability value for each network event and generate root cause data based on a ranking for the network events using a set of parameters including the occurrence probability. The method can also be directed to performing a regression of the root cause data against a set of historic data and selecting the root cause with a predefined accuracy as an acceptable candidate. The acceptable candidate is then provided for assisted learning for automated fault correction.

  • Patent number: 11153358
Abstract: Methods and systems for caching and delivering data contents among peer nodes in a decentralized data delivery edge network are disclosed. The network comprises peer-to-peer (P2P) connections implemented on top of a content delivery network (CDN) having CDN servers that provide data resources to network nodes. Such a hybrid network comprises viewer peer nodes, edge cacher peer nodes, tracker servers, and a payment service module. An edge cacher peer node sends its client statistics to a tracker server, wherein the client statistics comprises a cacher location and a performance specification. In return, the tracker server provides caching instructions according to which the edge cacher peer node downloads fragments of a data file from a CDN server, for later transmission to other viewer peer nodes within the decentralized data delivery edge network.

  • Patent number: 11146534
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of implementing a client-side policy on client-side logic. The client-side policy is configured to support client-side hooks by configuring a rule in the client-side policy to be applied to the client-side logic, which is configured to be executed in a browser of a client device in a network-based system. The rule indicates an administrator-defined action to be performed in response to a request to execute the client-side logic. The administrator-defined action is defined by an administrator of the network-based system. The request to execute the client-side logic in the browser is received. The administrator-defined action is performed based at least in part on the rule in the client-side policy in response to receipt of the request.

  • Patent number: 11140223
Abstract: A cloud computing system includes a hub client instance and at least one spoke client instance that is generated based on copying the hub client instance. The hub client instance includes hub objects maintained using hub object tables, and the spoke client instance includes spoke objects that are copied from the hub objects and are maintained using spoke object tables. To synchronize the spoke client instance with the hub client instance, the spoke client instance requests data indicating changes made to the hub object tables. The request may be one-way, such that the spoke client blocks or prevents requests from the hub client instance. In response to receiving the request, the hub client instance sends the data indicating changes made to the hub object tables to the spoke client instance. The spoke client instance updates the spoke object tables based on the data.

  • Patent number: 11122121
Abstract: A storage system includes four storage engines, each storage engine including two compute nodes. Eight point-to-point connections are used to interconnect pairs of compute nodes on different storage engines, such that each compute node is connected to exactly two other compute nodes of the storage system. Atomic operations can be initiated by any compute node on any other compute node. Atomic operations received by a compute node on one of the point-to-point connections will be forwarded on the other point-to-point connection if the atomic operation is not directed to the compute node. During normal operation, atomic operations on a given compute node are performed on a host adapter associated with the compute node. Upon failure of the host adapter associated with the compute node, atomic operations may be performed on the compute node using the host adapter of the other compute node of the storage engine.
