  • Patent number: 11185105
Abstract: A system for dispensing toppings onto a topping vehicle may include a hopper platform, hoppers, a retaining plate, a blade, and a hopper-advancing pin. The hoppers each include a hopper bracket slidably engaging the hopper platform. The blade is mounted on the retaining plate and may reciprocate relative to the retaining plate. The hopper-advancing pin is movable relative to the hoppers between deployed and stowed positions. The hopper-advancing pin may engage one of the hopper brackets in the deployed position such that movement of the retaining plate between retracted and extended positions causes movement of the hopper bracket and a respective hopper along a length of the hopper platform. The hopper-advancing pin may be disengaged from the hopper brackets in the deployed stowed position to allow movement of the retaining plate between the retracted and extended positions without causing movement of the hopper brackets.

  • Patent number: 11162166
Abstract: The disclosure provides a fully new method for molten metal coating treatment coating treatment, as a method for treating surfaces of a metal strip by molten metal coating, by which inherent issues in conventional immersion coatings and spray coatings are avoided. In the disclosed method for molten metal coating treatment, a surface of a metal strip is coated by discharging a droplet of a molten metal toward the surface of the metal strip, using a nozzle system configured to discharge the droplet of the molten metal from a nozzle due to an action of the Lorentz force generated on the molten metal by sending an electric current to the molten metal in a chamber, the chamber being applied with magnetic flux in a given direction, while the electric current sent in a direction perpendicular to the given direction.

  • Patent number: 11148411
Abstract: A solder paste printer for which a pressing force of squeegee towards a stencil when spreading solder paste is smaller than a printing pressure when performing solder paste printing. The force with which the solder paste is pressed downwards by the squeegee is weak, and instead of solder paste being pressed down, it spreads along the squeegee. Also, the moving speed of the squeegee when spreading the solder paste is faster than the moving speed of the squeegee when printing solder paste. Thus, because the squeegee is moving fast, before the solder paste is pressed down sufficiently to be printed, the solder paste spreads out along the squeegee. Accordingly, it is possible to appropriately spread the solder paste along the direction in which the squeegee extends.

  • Patent number: 11089810
Abstract: Batter is applied to food products by depositing the products atop a coating pan which vibrates such that the products are transported along the pan. As this occurs, batter is supplied atop the coating pan and the products. The coating pan is preferably configured such that the products tumble across the pan, thereby better ensuring that the products are coated on all sides with batter. The products are then received on a vibrating drainage pan having a perforated drainage pan surface, whereby excess batter drains from the batter-coated products through the perforations as the products are transported across the drainage pan. Batter-coated products leaving the drainage pan can then be received by a fryer, oven, conveyor, or other food processing equipment.
