Abstract: There is provided an adjustable, curved keyboard having arcuately arranged keys to complement naturally to a user's wrists, hands and fingers. The keyboard is supported by a bracket, which extends from underneath the desktop of a desk, for pivotal, elevational and horizontal adjustment of the keyboard's position relative to the user. The keyboard comprises an elongated base and alphanumeric keys positioned at an upper surface of the base. The base has a longitudinal axis disposed below the upper surface of the elongated base, and the upper surface is curved about the longitudinal axis. Also, the alphanumeric keys are arranged about the longitudinal axis of the base to form an arcuate typing surface that provides a comfortable typing surface for the user and reduces the risks of repetitive stress injury.

  • Patent number: 5694855
Abstract: A system for imprinting stationery including envelopes, letters and cards with return addresses, sending addresses, letterheads and other indicia uses inexpensive self inking stamps. A horizontal rectangular top plate is provided with apertures through which the stamps pass when imprinting on a piece of stationery. The top plate is supported above a flat horizontal support surface on which the piece of stationery rests by a three sided fence which provides positioning stops for the stationery. The apertures are located at predetermined positions on the top plate so as to correctly position imprinting of sending addresses, return addresses and letterheads on stationery of various sizes. The positioning and registry is so well maintained that different colored stamps may be used in the same aperture to produce multicolor printing. By providing a system that produces high quality custom printed stationery as needed, the volume storage and expenses of preprinted stationery is avoided.

  • Patent number: 5662043
Abstract: A plurality of inking blade plates are positioned in abutting fashion between cooperating insertion and clamping strips to form an inking blade. A temperature differential is created between the blade plates and the strips which are then allowed to return to a common temperature. This creates a uniform spacing between each of the inking blade plates in the inking blade. The resulting inking blade is usable with an ink ductor roller in a rotary printing press.
