A multi-segment baffle may be adjusted by articulating segments of the baffle and modifying the angles of redirection of the bias light output. Such adjustments modify the size of an opening between the baffle and the display and thus alter the characteristics of the bias light output. An inner surface of the baffle may be coated with a reflective material to improve efficiency. The baffle may be formed from a portion of a rear cover of the display.
