    Abstract: A door mount mechanism is to be mounted onto a door for rotating a thumb turn of a door lock. The door mount mechanism includes a casing, a rotatable component and an intermediate coupling. The casing is for abutting against the door, and defines a receiving space that is adapted for receiving the door lock. The rotatable component is coupled rotatably to the casing. The intermediate coupling includes a first coupling segment connected co-rotatably to the rotatable component, and a second coupling segment connected co-rotatably to and linearly movable relative to the first coupling segment and for driving rotation of the thumb turn of the door lock such that the thumb turn is co-rotatable with the rotatable component.

    Abstract: A lock and key combination providing extra code combinations. The lock has a housing and a cylindrical key plug with a keyway and at least side locking tumbler. The side locking tumbler has, at its rear side, a tongue which will fit into an associated recess in a side bar. The outer surface of the tongue is shaped as a groove between two vertical edge portions. One of these edge portions will make contact with the sidebar, adjacent to an entrance opening of the recess in the sidebar and thereby stop the tongue from entering into the rectangular recess if the side locking tumbler is rotationally misaligned. Because of this, it is possible to design the cylinder lock with a large number of predetermined code positions for each side locking tumbler. An associated key with a key blade having a wave-like side code pattern, will have, for each side locking tumbler, a selected one of a large number of predetermined different code positions.

    Abstract: A lock comprises a male element, and a female element for receiving the male element enabling aligned copular engagement. The male element has a shoulder and the female element a catch for closing behind the shoulder to hold the male element therein. The catch and a lock casing are held in the female element with the axis of the lock casing inclined, normally at a right angle, to the line of engagement of the male and female elements. The lock casing and the female element have juxtaposed faces inclined to the line of engagement of the male and female elements. At least one face on the lock casing extends from the casing outwardly from the line of engagement contiguous with an inwardly facing complementary face on the female element. In this way longitudinal forces generated by attempted separation of the engaged male and female elements are resolved by the faces into a lateral force on the female element.

The motor may drive the auger in a first or second rotational direction to move the spring towards/away from the motor to reduce/increase spring force on the locking element, thereby moving the locking element to an unlocked/locked position. One of the locking element and motor housing has a projection while the other has a guideway for slideably receiving the projection. The guideway prevents rotation of the locking element with respect to the motor as it moves between locked and unlocked positions. The projection and guideway are interlocked to prevent disassembly of the locking element and motor housing.

Locking element cavities each contain a moveable locking element such as a ball, movable in response to a magnetic field applied by a magnetic key. A locking bar is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking bar has coded projections which extend into the respective locking element cavities when the locking bar moves from the locked position to the unlocked position. A code plate is shaped in registration with the coded projections. When the locking bar is in the locked position the code plate and the coded projections form a substantially uninterrupted surface. The locking elements prevent movement of the locking bar from the locked position to the unlocked position except when magnetically moved to a coded position.
