Abstract: A beverage bottling plant for filling bottles or containers with a liquid beverage which has a labeling device for labeling the bottles or containers. The labeling device has at least two labeling stations, wherein at least one labeling station can be moved from an operating position to a rest position when its supply of labels is exhausted, while at least one other labeling station can be moved from a rest position to an operating position to permit a substantially continuous feed and application of labels to bottles or containers.
Abstract: The present invention is, in one embodiment, an apparatus for placing an insert within a nested group of taco shells. The insert placement apparatus comprises a vertical shaft, a horizontal shaft, a first pillow block, a second pillow block, a vacuum cup, a horizontal timing belt, an air cylinder, and a servomotor. The vacuum cup is adapted to transport the insert. The first pillow block has a bore therethrough for receiving the horizontal shaft. The second pillow block is supported off of the first pillow block and has a bore therethrough for receiving the vertical shaft. The vacuum cup is suspended off of the vertical shaft. The horizontal belt is routed around a drive pulley and a second pulley and is interconnected to the first pillow block. The servomotor is interconnected to the drive pulley. The servomotor causes the timing belt to displace the first pillow block along the horizontal shaft, thereby causing the vacuum cup to displace horizontally.

Abstract: An apparatus for wrapping a pallet load having a rotary swing arm carrying two upright towers, each tower having a film carriage mounted to and movable along the upright tower for holding a roll of flexible stretchable film and a roll of relatively unstretchable banner film, a programmable control logic controls the wrapping machine to wrap the pallet load with the flexible stretchable film, then over-wrap with the relatively unstretchable banner film over the wrapped flexible stretchable film, and then continue to over-wrap the wrapped relative unstretchable banner film with the flexible stretchable film.
Abstract: An agricultural bagger apparatus and method for compacting feed into a horizontally deployed bag including a moving hopper wall and+ mechanism for moving the wall at an input end of hopper. The wall moving mechanism and the moving wall of the hopper sweeps the feed adjacent to the sloping wall to prevent feed bridging. A safety enclosure isolates the wall moving mechanism from contaminants and prevents exposure to the wall moving mechanism. Some embodiments also compact feed in the upper portion of a tunnel, for example, by reciprocating a hinged piston above a primary compression mechanism.
Abstract: The folding machine comprises a pair of folding rollers (1, 3) rotating about axes essentially parallel to each other and defining a nip (5) through which a web material (N) to be folded passes. Disposed on each of the folding rollers are folding members (61, 61A; 63, 63A) which form folds on the web material parallel to the axis of rotation of the folding rollers. For each folding roller (1, 3) a transferring device (11, 13) is also provided to transfer packs of products folded by the folding rollers towards an unloading area (9), which comprises a plurality of separating fingers (15) movable along a closed path, from an area of engagement with the folded products to an unloading area of the folded products. Each of the transferring devices extends inside an annular groove (1G, 3G) of the respective folding roller (1, 3).
Abstract: A beverage bottling plant for filling bottles with a liquid beverage material having a machine and method for wrapping filled bottles, wherein one roll of wrapping material is replaced with a new roll of wrapping material quickly and accurately to minimize disruptions or interruptions in the bottle wrapping process.
Abstract: An enclosure is formed from a single sheet of paper, which is of a standard size. The sheet of paper is folded along the short edges and then folded along a mid-section. Content material may be placed on the sheet of paper or printed information can be printed on desired surfaces of the paper. The paper may also be folded so that a fold-over flap is formed. The edges are attached through a sealing mechanism such as knurling, gluing, embossing or crimping, tabbing, stapling.
Abstract: A multi-purpose air-packing method and system enables to pack a product having an irregular shape easily at low cost.
