Abstract: In a mobile station which communicates with a base station corresponding to a serving cell that is a cell in which the mobile station is located, of a plurality of cells, an acquirer is configured to acquire a situation of movement of the mobile station. A changer is configured to change a criterion used to determine whether to switch a communication destination from a first base station corresponding to the serving cell to a second base station corresponding to an adjacent cell neighboring the serving cell, in response to the situation of movement of the mobile station acquired by the acquirer and a positional relationship between the serving cell and the adjacent cell.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for cell prioritization. Methods involve monitoring resource usage on a first cell and comparing the monitored resource usage on the first cell to a predetermined threshold. The method additionally includes receiving a connection request from a hybrid wireless device capable of communicating using the first RAT and the second RAT and assigning the hybrid wireless device to the second cell when the monitored resource usage on the first cell meets the predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A method that incorporates aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining, by a system comprising a processor, interference information associated with one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs) from each base station of a plurality of base stations. Further, the method can include determining, by the system, from the interference information a strategy for improving a PRB utilization of a first base station of the plurality of base stations. In addition, the method can include conveying, by the system, the strategy to at least one base station of the plurality of base stations. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A wireless communication method is provided to comprise: receiving, by a first computing device, a notification that a wireless communication device that has previously established a protocol data unit session via a first network access has registered for a second network access; and establishing, by the first computing device, one or more quality of service (QoS) flows for the protocol data unit session for the wireless communication device over the second network access by transmitting, to a second computing device, a message that includes information to associate the one or more quality of service (QoS) flows with the second network access, and wherein the first computing device is configured to carry out a session management function and the second computing device is configured to carry out an access and mobility management function.

Abstract: A road map generation system is provided that collects camera image data of road conditions captured during traveling of vehicles on roads and generates road map data based on the camera image data. The system performs image processing on the collected camera image data to convert into orthographic images and to combine the orthographic images to generate a combined image. The system extracts a defective portion of a road marking on a road from the combined image and performs a determination of whether the defective portion of the road marking is due to noise at the image processing of the image processing device or there is a defect in the real world. When the defective portion of the road marking is due to the noise at the image processing, the system performs a correction process of the road marking.

Abstract: Provided is a secure ranging method capable of blocking access of a malicious user by preventing an attack by the malicious user when ranging is performed using an ultra-wideband (UWB). Also, provided is a method of increasing accuracy of ranging. A method of operating an electronic device for performing ranging by using a UWB in a wireless communication system includes: transmitting and receiving at least one frame for ranging, to and from at least one other electronic device; obtaining a first ranging value and a second ranging value, based on the at least one frame; and performing integrity checking, based on a result of comparing the first ranging value with the second ranging value.

The mobile banking application is configured to activate a contextual provider location mode when the user enters a provider location. The contextual provider location mode presents a plurality of modifications to both appearance and operation of the mobile banking application. Each modification is in response to an analysis performed by a context circuit of the mobile banking application. The modifications serve to facilitate the user's experience at the provider, enabling the user to perform their intended tasks in an easier more efficient manner. Additional data pertaining to the user's tasks and behavior are further categorized and transmitted back to the provider, enabling further accuracy and improvements during subsequent visits.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for a mobility mechanism in the scenario including both enhanced packet core (“EPC”) and 5GC are disclosed. One method of a UE comprising receiving system information including a cell list from an eNB/ng-eNB, wherein, the cell list includes an identifier of a cell connected to EPC or an identifier of a cell connected to 5GC. Further, the identifier is a Physical Cell Identifier (“PCI”) of the cell, and the cell indicated in the cell list includes a serving cell for the UE and/or one or more neighbour cells of the serving cell.
