  • Patent number: 11939960
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying optimized yaw settings to wind turbines including receiving operating data from at least one wind turbine on a wind farm and sending the data to a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system on the at least one wind turbine to generate current SCADA data. The current SCADA data is sent a central processing center away from the wind farm. The central processing center includes an optimization system that can generate a new look up table (LUT) including at least one new wind turbine yaw setting calculated using information comprising wind direction, wind velocity, wind turbine location in the wind farm, information from a historic SCADA database, and yaw optimizing algorithms. The new LUT is then sent to a yaw setting selection engine (YSSE) where instructions regarding the use of the new LUT are generated.

  • Patent number: 11913308
Abstract: A method that includes an electronic application identifying a downlink sequence for execution by a surface control system of a drilling rig, with the sequence including target output values of a mud pump system and/or a drive system. The method includes instructing the control system to operate in accordance with the sequence. The application receives measured output values of the mud pump system and/or the drive system and calculates differences between the target and measured output values. When the differences are within a level of tolerance, then the application identifies the control system as compliant; and when the differences are greater than the level of tolerance, then the application identifies the control system as non-compliant. The method also includes the application receiving data from a BHA of the drilling rig and determining, based on the data received, if a downlink to the BHA was successful.

  • Patent number: 11907030
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods that may be implemented in real time to determine the total volumetric rate of airflow through a chassis enclosure of an information handling system platform directly from real time measured cooling fan power consumption in combination with standalone or system-level cooling fan power characteristics (e.g., expressed as cooling fan power curves) that relate cooling fan volumetric airflow rate to cooling fan power consumption at the current fan rotation speed. This determined value of total real time volumetric airflow rate may then be used, for example, by individual system level thermal control algorithms and/or data center level thermal control algorithms.

  • Patent number: 11834943
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for controlling operation of a drilling machine includes determining a rock-coal transition and enabling both the real-time control of the blasthole drilling operation of the drilling machine responsive to the determination of the rock-coal transition or using the rock-coal transition information for mine planning in a post-processing application. Such controlling can include stopping the drilling operation of the drilling machine prior to or upon reaching the coal. Mine planning allows for more efficient removal of the exploitable coal. The determining and controlling can be performed in real time based on specialized transformation of Monitor-While Drilling (MWD) data from one or more sensors of the drilling machine while the drilling machine is drilling. The mine planning application is based on processing the Monitor-While Drilling (MWD) data from one or more sensors of the drilling machine after the drilling machine has completed the drilling of a blasthole or blastholes.
