Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for systems and methods for semantic video segmentation to identify objects appearing in video content. Example methods may include determining a voice-based request at a first device to identify an object appearing in video content, determining a first video identifier for video content being consumed in association with the first device, determining a timestamp associated with the video content at a time the voice-based request was received, determining, using one or more knowledge graphs, a set of product identifiers for products present in the video content at a scene corresponding to the timestamp, and generating a response to the voice-based request comprising a first product identifier in the set of product identifiers.

Abstract: A customer logs into a desired retailer through a Virtual Reality (VR)/Augmented Reality (AR) cross-retailer application (app). Preferences and/or a profile are obtained from the retailer via an Application Programming Interface (API). A customized VR/AR setting is rendered within the app based on the preferences and/or profile and a VR/AR session is initiated with the app. Consumable items and ingredients of each item are rendered as VR/AR selectable objects during the session for interaction by the customer and a custom item is made with selected ingredients. The customer purchases the item within the session and an order is placed with the retailer through the API. In an embodiment, an avatar of the customer and avatars of other customer placing orders with the retailer are rendered on a virtual floor or superimposed on an actual floor of the customer's physical environment within the app for social interaction and social network features.

Abstract: Purchase history data is used to automatically create links within a data repository between product sold via an electronic vendor system and a plurality of shopping carts. When a customer performs a search for product, the vendor system queries the data repository to retrieve the plurality of shopping carts that have been linked to the product that is associated within the data repository to the search request. A plurality of customer interface elements, each corresponding to a one of the plurality of shopping carts, is then presented as a result to the search query. A selection of a one of the customer interface elements causes the vendor system to add one or more of the product to the corresponding one of the plurality of shopping carts.

The computer-implemented method to electronically recognize a product in an electronic image captured via an electronic mobile device is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a server, a video stream from a camera of the electronic mobile device, the video stream including a plurality of frames. The server selects at least one of the plurality of frames from the video stream, the at least one of the plurality of frames from the video stream being selected is a captured image. The server segments a plurality of products in the captured image into a plurality of segments. The server performs an image recognition using each of the plurality of segments to identify the product in each of the plurality of segments. One or more recognized products identified in the image recognition is outputted by the server.

Abstract: Various embodiments of apparatuses and methods for transaction processing at edge servers in a content distribution network (“CDN”) are described. In some embodiments, an edge server receives an initial request from a client for content associated with a particular origin, and then provides the content to the client. The edge server can then receive another request from the client that might include an indicator for transaction processing. The edge server determines that transaction processing is indicated for handling this new request, in some embodiments. The edge server can then send a transaction notification to the origin, receive a transaction continuation response from the origin, and then execute a data transaction with transaction entities that are distinct from the content distribution network and the origin, in some embodiments. If the transaction is successful, the edge server can notify the client and the origin of the successful transaction, in some embodiments.

Abstract: Certain embodiments herein relate to implementing collaborative bidding in online auctions. A determination may be made whether bidding entities, or bids associated with bidding entities, share promotional interests, such as promoting the same product. Bids submitted by bidding entities that share the same promotional interests may be combined to create a single, combined bid that may compete against other bids in an online auction. Costs associated with promoting the product may be allocated among such bidding entities in various ways, including proportional allocation of cost based on a bid price submitted by the bidding entity.
