Abstract: A computer-readable medium stores instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a computing device, cause the computing device to dynamically generate and display, on an interactive display, one or more person icons and one or more property icons representing persons and properties associated with a loss event. Each person and property icon is generated and displayed as a user adds a corresponding person or property via the interactive display. Each of the person icons is a graphical representation of a person and each of the property icons is a graphical representation of a type of the corresponding property. The instructions also cause the computing device to dynamically link specific ones of the person icons to specific ones of the property icons as the user specifies relationships between the specific ones of the person icons and the specific ones of the property icons via the interactive display.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating an indication of whether a vehicle crash has occurred is presented. It may be determined whether data output by a base sensor(s) of a mobile computing device indicates that a vehicle crash condition has occurred. An additional sensor(s) of the mobile computing device may begin outputting additional sensor data when the data output by the base sensor(s) indicates that the vehicle crash condition has occurred. The additional sensor(s) may be caused to output the additional sensor data for an amount of time after the additional sensor(s) begins outputting the additional sensor data. An indication of whether a crash of a vehicle has occurred may be generated based on the additional sensor data output by the additional sensor(s) for the amount of time after the additional sensor(s) begins outputting the additional sensor data.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method of processing payment authorization requests for payment transactions to be conducted via a data communications network; the payment authorization requests are conducted as a result of orders by financial account holders via a plurality of different online merchant systems, and the financial account holders hold accounts with a plurality of different issuing banks. These embodiments of the invention provide a means of identifying an issuing bank from a plurality of issuing banks as one which is to be utilized in a given transaction and facilitate a user specifying, in real time in relation to the given transaction, a particular bank account that is to be used to deduct funds for that transaction.

Abstract: Improved workflow processes for efficiently progressing through a credit union membership application using a user interface having a specially structured layout to facilitate the progression are disclosed. Initially, the user interface presents a membership account selection option to select which type of membership account to initiate. Based on the selected type of membership account, the user interface then displays a product selection option for selecting a specific type of product to initiate with the credit union. The user interface then displays an applicant information option structured to receive information about an applicant. Based on this information, there is a determination as to whether the applicant qualifies for membership. Additionally, the layout of the user interface is specifically required to have a number of features, which are designed to facilitate the application workflow.

Abstract: Systems and methods of decentralized block chain voting are provided. Polling data that includes a plurality of polling options and an option identifier associated with each polling option is retrieved. A customized cryptographic currency address is generated for each of the plurality of polling options based on the corresponding option identifier associated with each polling option. A specified amount of cryptographic tokens are transferred to the customized cryptographic currency address for a selected polling option. The transfer is broadcast to a cryptographic currency network for confirmation and inclusion within a block chain ledger of the cryptographic currency network.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for the usage of enhanced pictures (e.g., photos) of tangible objects (e.g., property, cars, etc.) damaged in an accident and answers to questions about the accident to better assess the effect of the damage (e.g., repair expenses and accompanying changes to an insurance policy). A pre-FNOL system may receive responses to one or more questions regarding an accident and one or more enhanced pictures of the tangible property damaged in the accident. The pre-FNOL system may use the responses to the one or more questions and the one or more enhanced pictures to determine repair costs associated with the damaged property and accompanying changes to the insurance policy if an insurance claim were to be filed to cover the determined repairs costs.

Abstract: Financial instruments are produced at a remote location by a 3D printer. In one embodiment, a request is made for a financial instrument, such as a prepaid gift instrument, by user system(s) at the remote location(s). The user system(s) may be at one or more of a retailer location, a money transfer agent location, or an instrument holder or recipient location (such as at an instrument holder/recipient's residence). An instrument issuer may transmit a print file to a user system which may in turn provide the print file to the 3D printer in order to produce the instrument. At least of a portion of the print file may be rendered unusable at the user system after being provided to or used by the 3D printer, in order to prevent use of the print file to produce unauthorized copies of the instrument.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining fault for an accident involving a vehicle having one or more autonomous and/or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, performance data indicative of the performance of the features may be used to determine fault for a vehicle accident, such as a collision, by allocating fault for the accident between a vehicle operator, the autonomous operation features, or a third party. The allocation of fault may be used to determine an adjustment to an insurance policy and/or adjust coverage levels for an insurance policy. The allocation of fault may further be used to adjust risk levels or profiles associated with the autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features, which may be applied to other vehicles having the same or similar features.

Abstract: The method and system involves instant loan decisions by generating a risk profile of a small business (SMB). The risk profile is generated based on accounting data and other third party business management application (BMA) data of the SMB. In particular, the accounting data and other third party BMA data are retrieved from a BMA (e.g., accounting application, payroll application, tax preparation application, personnel application, etc.) as a software-as-an-service (SaaS) used by the SMB. Specifically, the risk profile represents the likelihood of the SMB to be delinquent and/or to default on a loan. The risk profile is then provided to a lender for making an expedient lending decision with respect to the SMB. In addition, statistics of lenders' lending decisions based on provided risk profiles are analyzed to generate a correlation. Accordingly, the algorithm(s) used to generate the risk profile from the accounting data and other third party BMA data are adjusted to maximize the correlation.

Abstract: A method for modeling risk of a derogatory financial event. The method includes generating a risk profile of a small business (SMB) using a risk model based on accounting data and other third party business management application (BMA) data of the SMB. In particular, the risk model is generated using a training data set that includes accounting data and other third party BMA data of multiple SMBs over particular time periods related to historic derogatory events (e.g., to be delinquent and/or to default on a loan) of these SMBs. Generated using the risk model, the risk profile of the SMB represents the likelihood of a derogatory financial event occurring to the SMB.

Abstract: As opposed to using one type of technology from the beginning of a transaction to the end of a transaction at the point of sale, embodiments of the present invention are related to useful techniques for conducting mixed mode transactions. A mixed mode transaction combines at least two modes of communication used in transaction processing. A transaction may start by initiating the transaction using a first communication mode between a first device and a second device. The first device may be a consumer's mobile device, and the device may be a merchant access device or point of sale terminal. To continue the transaction, a second mode of communication may be initiated. The first and second communications modes may be a physical interaction-based mode, a contact or contactless chip mode, a Bluetooth mode, a WiFi mode, an infrared (IR) mode, or any other suitable communication mode.

Abstract: A method for generating a business health score of a business entity that includes identifying tools used to manage the business entity, obtaining business information from the tools, filtering the business information into at least one data category to obtain categorized business information, populating the categorized business information into a data silo, and analyzing, by a computer processor, the categorized business information in the data silo to create a composite business factor. The method also includes applying an algorithm to the composite business factor to generate a result, generating, based on the result, the business health score of the business entity, and providing the business health score to an interested entity.

Abstract: A payment terminal such as a payment reader may receive and form electrical connections with an electronic transaction card such as an EMV chip card. The payment terminal may provide power to the electronic transaction card and engage in communications with the electronic transaction card. Based on information received from the electronic transaction card, the payment terminal may predict the locations of data objects that must be accessed in order to process transactions. The data objects may be accessed based on the predictions and the transaction may be processed.

Abstract: The disclosure details implementations of apparatuses, methods, and systems directed to facilitating an entity sponsoring a trust. The sponsoring entity contributes a pool of assets (e.g., a pool of real property mortgages) to fund the trust. The system facilitates the creation of one or more classes of certificates that represent a portion of the assets held in the trust. For example, if the trust is funded by mortgages, the certificates will represent rights to different portions of principal and/or interest payments generated by the mortgages held as the asset pool. The sponsoring entity can use the system to sell all or some of the certificates to unrelated parties and to create a market in the certificates. Further, in an implementation, the sponsoring entity may also use the system to facilitate an ongoing certificate exchange program implementing a series of certificate exchange applications.
