  • Patent number: 10247068
Abstract: An oil separating module for an internal combustion engine, including: an oil separator, an oil return arranged such that separated oil can flow through the oil return to an oil sump, a mounting, and a non-return valve having: a valve housing having a throughbore with a first end opening and a second end opening, and a valve body movably mounted in the valve housing such that the valve body transitions between an open position and a closed position. When the first end opening is above the second end opening, the valve body automatically transitions to, or remains in, the closed position when a second end opening pressure is greater than a first end opening pressure by at least a threshold pressure difference, and the valve body automatically transitions to, or remains in, the open position when the second pressure is not greater than the first pressure by at least the threshold pressure difference.

  • Patent number: 10242785
Abstract: A valve for metering fluid has an electromagnet for actuating a valve needle controlling a metering opening. The electromagnet generates, upon current flow, a magnetic flux that proceeds via an outer pole, a hollow-cylindrical inner pole, an armature displaceable on an armature guidance region embodied on the valve needle, and a working air gap delimited by the armature and inner pole. Disposed fixedly on the valve needle is an entraining element that penetrates axially displaceably into an entraining element guidance region embodied in the inner pole and has a radial stop shoulder for the armature which delimits a take-up travel or pre-stroke travel. The entraining element is extended into an additional inner pole having a pole surface formed by the stop shoulder, and is embodied magnetically conductively and a magnetic flux between the armature and valve needle is suppressed by way of a magnetically nonconductive material.

  • Patent number: 10221955
Abstract: One embodiment relates to a valve device. The valve device includes: a valve case; a valve element slidably disposed within a valve chamber defined in the valve case; and a positive pressure spring configured to urge the valve element toward a valve seat in the valve case. The valve element includes an outer circumferential portion having a predetermined length extending along an inner circumference of the valve chamber. The outer circumferential portion includes plural opening portions. And, ribs project from the inner circumference of the valve chamber to enter into the opening portions, thereby limiting movement of the positive pressure spring in a radial direction.

  • Patent number: 10196874
Abstract: A bonnet assembly for assisting to move a valve stem to a retracted position includes a bonnet body. The bonnet body has a bonnet valve end selectively connected to a valve, a bonnet actuator end opposite the bonnet valve end selectively connected to a valve actuator. A valve stem extends through the central bore of the bonnet body. A booster piston seal circumscribes the valve stem and engages an inner diameter of the central bore. The booster piston seal selectively defines an extent of a pressure cavity containing pressure media. An effective stem pressure surface faces in a direction towards the valve and is in fluid communication with the valve when the bonnet body is connected to the valve. A booster pressure surface faces in a direction towards the valve when the bonnet body is connected to the valve and is selectively acted on by the pressure media.
