  • Patent number: 12157339
Abstract: A steering wheel suspension structure of an omnidirectional mobile robot includes a steering wheel connecting ring, a plurality of leaf spring connecting beams and a chassis mounting section. The steering wheel suspension structure is an integrated plate structure. The steering wheel connecting ring is connected with a steering wheel, and the chassis mounting section is connected with a robot chassis. The leaf spring connecting beam is connected with the steering wheel connecting ring and the chassis mounting section, and the leaf spring connecting beam is used as the main component of suspension deformation. The suspension structure is simple, easy to install, light in weight, less in space, and highly integrated with the steering wheel assembly. When the suspension is deformed by the force, it weakens the radial force and only has the displacement and force in the vertical direction, thus ensuring the handling performance of the chassis.

  • Patent number: 12084120
Abstract: A method of operating a construction machine that includes a base, support arms each pivotally coupled to the base, and a plurality of wheel assemblies each coupled to the one of the support arms, the method including, in a transport mode of the construction machine, turning a wheel of each of the wheel assemblies, independently from a wheel of another of the wheel assemblies, to a toe out orientation. The method also includes driving each support arm to a deployed condition of the support arm in an operational mode of the construction machine. Driving each support arm to the deployed condition causes the distal ends of each of the support arms to move away from one another and outwardly from the base. The method also includes locking each support arm in the deployed condition and controlling steering of each wheel in the operational mode of the construction machine.

  • Patent number: 12083851
Abstract: A single axle suspension system that includes right and left dampers, first and second hydraulic circuits, a first pressurizing mechanism that is connected in fluid communication with the first hydraulic circuit, and a second pressurizing mechanism that is connected in fluid communication with the second hydraulic circuit. The first and second pressurizing mechanisms are configured to provide active roll control by adding and removing hydraulic fluid to and from the first and second hydraulic circuits to increase and decrease pressure inside the first and second hydraulic circuits independent of damper movements. This in turn causes a simultaneous increase in the fluid pressure inside either the first working chamber of the right and the second working chamber of the left damper or the first working chamber of the left damper and the second working chambers of the right damper to provide roll stiffness that counters vehicle roll during cornering.
