Abstract: A semiconductor device that is resistant to bending stress and has a structure in which an antenna circuit, an electric double layer capacitor for storing electricity, and the like are formed over a signal processing circuit that is provided over a substrate and has a charging circuit. The signal processing circuit having the charging circuit is provided over a substrate, and the antenna circuit and the electric double layer capacitor are provided over the signal processing circuit. The antenna circuit is electrically connected to the signal processing circuit, and the electric double layer capacitor is electrically connected to the charging circuit. With such a structure, a wiring for connecting the charging circuit and the electric double layer capacitor can be made short. Accordingly, a semiconductor device that is resistant to bending stress can be provided.

  • Patent number: 10373113
Abstract: A computer system for dynamically managing the transport vector of items receives a client identification and handling parameters from an input device. The system identifies, within a client database, different transport vectors associated with the client identification. The system then accesses one or more item-specific variables associated with the particular item. The system also filters the different transport vectors by the item-specific variables and the handling parameters such that a remaining subset of the different transport vectors all conform with the item-specific variables and the handling parameters. The system selects a specific transport vector from the remaining subset of the different transport vectors based upon a ranking of a user specified attribute. The system then generates a physical digital encoding that conforms with a particular template associated with the specific transport vector.

  • Patent number: 10366262
Abstract: An information code reading system includes an information code terminal and a server communicably connected to the terminal. In the terminal, an information code with first and second information is imaged, and transmitted to the server information indicating the information code. The server decodes the information indicating the information code received from the terminal, and memorize information showing that the information code has become an object being read, when the second information is provided via the decoding process. From the server, either the first information or information related to the first information provided via the decoding process is transmitted to the terminal. Hence, in the terminal, a process is performed with the first information received from the server.

  • Patent number: 10360421
Abstract: A method that includes scanning for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) broadcasts from beacon devices located at fixed locations, filtering the BLE broadcasts to generate a subset of the BLE broadcasts based on signal strength of the respective BLE broadcast or an identifier indicating an unapproved device transmitted the BLE broadcast, identifying within the subset of the BLE broadcasts a first BLE broadcast with a first data packet indicating that a first beacon device is within a specified distance from the asset tag manager, parsing the first data packet to locate a first beacon identifier associated with the first beacon device, creating a second data packet with the first beacon identifier and an asset tag identifier associated with the asset, and transmitting a first wireless broadcast including the second data packet, where the first wireless broadcast is received by a hub.

  • Patent number: 10354223
Abstract: Methodologies, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for reading machine readable features of objects. A local terminal generates a temporary object number corresponding to an unreadable object and captures an image of the unreadable object. A message is sent to a number of portable devices requesting that a duplicate of the unreadable object be located and that a machine readable feature on the duplicate object be read. Once a duplicate object is located, one of the portable devices reads a machine readable feature on the duplicate object, and the portable device calls a service offered by a server to retrieve a data value corresponding to the duplicate item from a database. This data value is then sent to the local terminal invoking a service offered by the terminal to replace the temporary object number with the data value corresponding to the duplicate item.

  • Patent number: 10344948
Abstract: There is a category of situations which may have previously been considered direct replacement but in fact takes on many elements of a true retrofit; namely, replacing existing LED lighting systems (which they themselves were retrofits) with different LED lighting systems that (i) overcome a deficiency or inadequacy of the existing LED lighting system retrofit, (ii) adds a functionality to the existing LED lighting system retrofit, or (iii) reestablishes functionality that would otherwise be lost with the existing LED lighting system retrofit. Discussed herein are means to provide improved glare control, horizontal beam containment, playability and control functionality for interfacing with third party controls in these so-called retrofit-of-a-retrofit, or “upgrade” situations.

  • Patent number: 10337693
Abstract: As lighting systems age the need for retrofits—namely where newer lighting technology is used to replace older or different technology, but where a direct replacement is not possible without some kind of modification to the rest of the lighting system—increases. The residential lighting retrofit market is well established with a one-for-one light source replacement approach that is widely embraced; for example, a table lamp with a failed incandescent bulb can be readily replaced with an LED bulb despite the disparate power requirements because of the onboard driver system, and this avoids having to modify the lamp itself, the outlet, incoming power, etc. No such solution exists for specialized lighting systems such as sports and wide area lighting systems. The present invention is directed to such a solution, and one which is cost effective, easy to implement, and customizable to meet the varying site requirements of such specialized systems.

  • Patent number: 10318223
Abstract: A wearable computing device includes a head-mounted display (HMD) that provides a field of view in which at least a portion of the environment of the wearable computing device is viewable. The HMD is operable to display images superimposed over the field of view. When the wearable computing device determines that a target device is within its environment, the wearable computing device obtains target device information related to the target device from a programmed local tag. The target device information may include information that defines a virtual control interface for controlling the target device and an identification of a defined area of the target device on which the virtual control image is to be provided. The wearable computing device controls the HMD to display the virtual control image as an image superimposed over the defined area of the target device in the field of view.
