Abstract: According to certain embodiments, the present disclosure includes a method for generating a knowledge graph of clinical information for use as a reference model to semantically represent relevant information from clinical encounters. In certain embodiments, the method includes representing a clinical concern as a module of the knowledge graph. In some examples, the method includes associating at least one section node with the module, wherein each section node of the at least one section node corresponds to a clinical concept relevant to the clinical concern and associating at least one topic node with the at least one section node, wherein each topic node of the at least one topic node corresponds to a clinical topic relevant to the clinical concept. And, in certain embodiments the method includes outputting the knowledge graph of clinical information to semantically represent the relevant information from a clinical encounter associated with the clinical concern.

Abstract: A system and method for performing role-based user annotation of product documentation is disclosed. The system identifies first and second roles for first and second users, respectively; causes, based on the first role, a first user interface to display on a first client device to receive a first input associated with the default document from the first user; creates a first layer of annotation on the default document based on the first input; receives a request to access the document from the second user; determines, based on the first and second roles, whether to merge the first layer of annotation to the default document for generating an output document; causes a second user interface to display the output document on a second client device; and causes the first input and the output document to be applied for document performance analysis associated with one or more entities.

Abstract: One embodiment includes an apparatus, with materials having a text sub file with texts, an illustration sub file with illustrations, and a logic sub file with instructions for presenting at least a part of the materials. One embodiment includes materials with a logic sub file that can analyze an attribute of, and provide a response to, a user. Another embodiment is applicable to apparatus and methods using a limited voice recognition dictionary at least tailored for a piece of materials that includes illustrations. The piece of materials includes instructions. The another embodiment can also use a limited image dictionary. The apparatus can include a headset, and the illustrations can include a piece of audio. The apparatus can be implemented in a vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods to briefly deviate from and resume back to amending a section of a note are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain audio information representing sound captured by an audio section of a client computing platform, such sound including speech from a user associated with the client computing platform; effectuate presentation of a graphical user interface that includes sections of the note; analyze the audio information to determine which individual ones of the spoken inputs are the primary spoken input or the deviant spoken input; determine, based on analysis, which section of the note to which the deviant spoken input is related; alternately amend, based on the determination, sections of the note by deviating from one section to another section and returning back to the one section for continued population; and effectuate, via the user interface, presentation of the alternating amendments to the sections of the note.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for language-agnostic subtitle drift detection and correction. A method may include determining subtitles and/or captions from media content (e.g., videos), the subtitles and/or captions corresponding to dialog in the media content. The subtitles may be broken up into segments which may be analyzed to determine a likelihood of drift (e.g., a likelihood that the subtitles are out of synchronization with the dialog in the media content) for each segment. For segments with a high likelihood of drift, the subtitles may be incrementally adjusted to determine an adjustment that eliminates and/or reduces the amount of drift and the drift in the segment may be corrected based on the drift amount detected. A linear regression model and/or human blocks determined by human operators may be used to otherwise optimize drift correction.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting global interpretation risks in an email. A method includes extracting data from a header of an email, the data indicative of a locale of a sender; comparing the extracted data to other data indicative of a locale of a recipient of the email; and in response to a mismatch between the locales of the sender and recipient: scanning content of the email to identify portions of content subject to misinterpretation by the recipient, and modifying display of the email in response to an identification of at least one portion of content subject to misinterpretation, the modifying to indicate possible misinterpretation of the content by the recipient.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a document for displaying on a display of the client device. The method includes identifying a first portion and a second portion of the document having a first level of content hierarchy, and determining a first text corresponding to the first portion and a second text corresponding to the second portion of the document. The method includes generating a first outline entry including the first text and a second outline entry including the second text, and displaying a selectable entry point on a graphical user interface. The method includes, in response to a selection of the selectable entry point, displaying an outline window, including the first outline entry and the second outline entry, and navigating to the first portion of the received document or the second portion of the document in response to a selection of the first outline entry or the second outline entry.

Abstract: An enhanced video book and a system and method for creating an enhanced video book are described. Artwork and text corresponding to a storyline can be converted into a format that can be animated. A timing is established at which the converted artwork can be displayed, at a pace corresponding to the timing at which the converted text can be read. The converted artwork and/or the converted text are animating, and voice-over narration corresponding to the converted text is generated. The display of the converted artwork or the converted text is adjusted and synchronized with the voice-over narration based on the timing at which the converted artwork can be displayed. Audio is added and synchronized to the converted artwork. The converted artwork, the converted text, the animated or converted artwork, the animated converted text, the voice-over narration, and the audio are combined into an enhanced video book.

Abstract: Methods for enhancing or automating a review process of annotation tags for a set of tokens is described. A system may receive a list of tokens with associated tags for each token for a data set and may output any identified inconsistencies where a token is assigned at least two different tags. For example, instead of a human looking at each token individually or taking a sample set of the tags for review, the described techniques may look at all tokens with the associated tags in a set of data and may leverage reorganizing the tokens and associated tags to highlight errors to be fixed. Accordingly, the system may look across all tokens within an entire data set, while a review (e.g., by a human) of possible errors of the data set is limited to the highlighted errors flagged by the system.

Abstract: A method and system is provided for facilitating affiliate link generation using a web browser application. A publisher enables the system by identifying a webpage on an affiliate web site. The system performs an initial assessment of the page to extract webpage information, which is compared to information stored in a database. If the extracted information matches stored information, a record of the webpage is displayed and an affiliate link is dynamically generated for immediate use. If the extracted information does not match stored information, a new record of the webpage is created. If the webpage contains product-specific data, a product-specific record is stored. If the webpage does not contain product-specific data, a non-product record is stored. An affiliate link is then dynamically created. The new record of the product and dynamically created affiliate link is added to the database for immediate use.

Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a multi-device mixed interactivity system are provided. The interactivity system includes paired mixed-input devices for interacting and controlling virtual objects. In operation, a selection profile associated with a virtual object is accessed. The selection profile is generated based on a selection input determined using real input associated with a selection device and virtual input associated with a mixed-reality device. The selection device has a first display and the mixed-reality device has a second display that both display the virtual object. An annotation input for the virtual object based on a selected portion corresponding to the selection profile is received. An annotation profile based on the annotation input is generated. The annotation profile includes annotation profile attributes for annotating a portion of the virtual object. An annotation of the selected portion of the virtual reality object is caused to be displayed.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for automatically detecting positions of various webpage elements within a webpage when the webpage is rendered, based on analyzing the programming code of the webpage. A position detection system obtains and parses the programming code of the webpage to identify webpage elements within the webpage. A group of related webpage elements is identified based on a shared programming structure. The position detection system generates a DOM tree based on the programming code, and determines relative positions of the webpage elements within the group by traversing the DOM tree using a breadth-first search algorithm.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a statement presentation system. The statement presentation system may include a computer-readable storage medium that may be configured to store executable modules. The computer-readable storage medium may include a statement browser that may be configured to receive a statement file and present a statement. The computer-readable storage medium may also include a statement generation engine that may be configured to modify the statement file, and generate a modified statement file. The statement generation engine may extract data from a data source based on the modified statement file, and operate the extracted data. The operation may be conducted by loadable operation code, a loadable operation library file, or a loadable operation tool. The statement generation engine may render the operated data and display the rendered data on the statement browser in the form of a statement.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and using knowledge graphs are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor a method for generating a knowledge graph may include: (1) receiving data from at least one data source; (2) identifying facts in the data; (3) generating a relationship triple for each fact, wherein the relationship triples identify a subject, a predicate, and an object; and (4) populating the knowledge graph comprising nodes and edges with the relationship triples, wherein the nodes represent the subjects and the objects, and the edges represent the predicates, wherein each edge is associated with a weighting indicating a strength of the predicate relationship between the subject and the object.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for manually and programmatically remediating websites to thereby facilitate website navigation by people with diverse abilities. For example, an administrator portal is provided for simplified, form-based creation and deployment of remediation code, and a machine learning system is utilized to create and suggest remediations based on past remediation history. Voice command systems and portable document format (PDF) remediation techniques are also provided for improving the accessibility of such websites.
