The ventilation system is paired with a humidifying device to supply humidity into the interior space, said humidifying device comprising a generator for generating an aerosol from a liquid with droplets sized to be carried by the airstream, and at least one aerosol outlet channel arranged in the interior space such that the aerosol is captured by the airstream. A method for conditioning an interior space using at least one or more such ventilation systems is further described.

Further, the provided systems and methods are closed loop, reducing the loss solvent and decreasing the risk of safety concerns such as human exposure to solvent chemicals or explosion of volatiles. In some embodiments, the systems and methods remove impurities from the extracted oils, for example waxes or other precipitates, and provide a higher purity and higher quality extract.

    Abstract: A method for dynamic dosing of disinfectant solution in a medical device reprocessing system includes calculating a volume of an initial dose of concentrated disinfectant solution for dilution to make a first in-use disinfectant solution. The initial dose of concentrated disinfectant solution is diluted with diluting fluid to make the first in-use disinfectant solution comprising a target concentration of disinfectant agent. The first in-use disinfectant solution is applied to a medical device. A concentration of the disinfectant agent in the first in-use disinfectant solution is then calculated. The actual concentration of the disinfectant agent in the concentrated disinfectant solution is then calculated based upon the concentration of disinfectant agent in the first in-use disinfectant solution. It is then determined whether a volume of a second dose of concentrated disinfectant solution is increased or about the same as the volume of the initial dose to make a second in-use disinfectant solution.

One example extraction system includes two solvent columns, a material column, and a dewaxing column. The solvent columns store and provide solvent for stripping target chemicals from plant material in the material column. The solvent mixed with target chemicals passes into the dewaxing column, where the target chemicals are separated from waxes and lipids. Cooling is applied to elements of the system by way of an open-loop CO2 refrigeration method. Solvent is moved from the solvent columns to the material column by creating a pressure differential between the two solvent columns.

The positive electric charge is deposited on a part of the retail store fixture that it is desired to sterilize. The positive electric charge repels bacteria, sterilizing the portion of the retail store fixture that receives the positive charge. A shopping cart, for example, equipped with the electric charge circuit can be sterilized without requiring chemicals or power to be supplied to the cart. Rotation of the shopping cart wheels can be used to generate the voltage. The voltage can be used to sterilize a shopping cart handle, and/or other parts of the shopping cart.

The method comprises producing a packaging having a front panel and a back panel defining a compartment capable of holding one or more medical devices wherein at least one of the front panel or top panel has a portion containing a gas permeable material while the remaining portion of the pouch is gas impermeable. This gas permeable material allows gas to pass through the material and contact the one or more articles contained within the compartment or allows gas to pass through the gas permeable material from the inside of the compartment to the outside of the container. Upon completion of sterilization, the pouch is sealed and the gas permeable portion is cut away leaving the sterilized medical device enclosed in a completely gas impermeable pouch.
