  • Patent number: 11151188
Abstract: An online platform generates a playlist of clips of a lecture accessed by a plurality of users of the online platform. The online platform receives a recording of the lecture, and receives a plurality of events captured during a time period corresponding to the lecture. Each captured event is associated with a time stamp corresponding to a time at which a user performed an activity while listening to the lecture. The online platform clusters the captured events based on the time stamps, and generates one or more clips of the recording of the lecture from the clustered events. The online platform generates a playlist including the clips of the lecture.

  • Patent number: 10956483
Abstract: A first selectable slide presentation priority level assigned to a slide presentation is determined responsive to detecting an indication from a user using an input device to start the slide presentation. Individual slides of the slide presentation determined to include an assigned individual slide priority level equal to or higher than the assigned first selectable slide presentation priority level are selectively presented. For each presented slide, any additional content-dependent slides with assigned individual slide priority levels lower than the assigned first selectable slide presentation priority level that are determined, according to inter-slide content dependency data, to include a user-assigned inter-slide content dependency upon content of the presented slide are selectively presented.

  • Patent number: 10922997
Abstract: An exercise feedback system receives exercise data captured by client devices of users performing musculoskeletal exercises. The exercise feedback system may provide captured images to a client device of a physical trainer (PT) who remotely provides feedback on the users' exercise performances, for example, by labeling images as indicative of proper or improper musculoskeletal form. A PT may track multiple users using a central feed, which includes content displayed in an order based on ranking of users by a model. Additionally, the exercise feedback system may provide an augmented reality (AR) environment. For instance, an AR graphic indicating a target musculoskeletal form for an exercise is overlaid on a video feed displayed by a client device. Responsive to detecting that a user's form is aligned to the AR graphic, the exercise feedback system may notify the user and trigger the start of the exercise.

  • Patent number: 10895435
Abstract: Firearm simulator targets and firearm simulation systems are disclosed. A firearm simulator target includes a processor, a memory module, a plurality of light emitting diodes, and machine readable instructions stored in the memory module. When executed by the processor, the machine readable instructions cause the firearm simulator target to illuminate a target pattern subset of the plurality of light emitting diodes such that the target pattern subset of the plurality of light emitting diodes are illuminated to display a target pattern. The target pattern subset of the plurality of light emitting diodes that are illuminated includes a first light emitting diode. When executed by the processor, the machine readable instructions further cause the firearm simulator target to receive a signal from the first light emitting diode, and determine a target hit location at the first light emitting diode based on the signal received from the first light emitting diode.

Abstract: A method for assessing a pre-cognitive emotional response from a test subject, using responses obtained during the first moments of brain activity after presentation of a stimulus, includes exposing the test subject to a visual stimulus for between approximately 500 milliseconds and approximately 1 second, and receiving an input from the subject while the subject is exposed to the visual stimulus or within approximately 300 milliseconds after the subject is first exposed to the stimulus. The method further includes storing, in response to receiving the input, a user response that identifies one of a plurality of emotional reactions that is associated with the visual stimulus. Each of the exposing, receiving, and storing acts is repeated for a plurality of visual stimuli. The method further includes determining, based on each of the stored user responses, one or more dominant emotional characteristics of the subject.
