Abstract: A drainable container system for a vehicle includes a container having an exterior surface and defining an interior cavity configured for storing a fluid, and a drain hole configured for draining the fluid from the cavity. The hole has a central longitudinal axis that is substantially perpendicular to the surface. The system includes a drain plug, wherein the plug is insertable into the hole along the axis into a locked position so that the fluid does not drain, and removable from the hole along the axis when disposed in an unlocked position so that the fluid drains. The system includes a locking element configured for preventing rotation of the plug within the hole about the axis when the plug is disposed in the locked position, wherein the element is formed from a metal that is substantially elastic at a temperature of from about ?40° C. to about 10° C.

At least one anti-twist lock (13) of the container (1) is formed by an offset which tapers downwardly in a side wall (12) in the direction of a contact surface (19), and which has two contact edges (35) in the circumferential direction.

Abstract: A container assembly for holding, shipping, and consuming a product, such as a frozen confection, is provided. The container assembly includes a container, a lid, and a utensil. The utensil is connected to the assembly so that a consumer is able to spoon the product from the container. A consumer may purchase the assembly containing a product, open the container, remove the utensil, and consume the product using the self-contained utensil. The assembly may also include a membrane for ensuring freshness and to indicate tampering of the product. The utensil may be attached directly to the lid, or in a pocket between sealed membranes.

Abstract: A tamper-evident rigid plastic food container system wherein the outer periphery of the mating surfaces of the lid and tray are permanently bonded together after the food product has been placed in the tray, a set of perforated rows at an inner periphery, the interconnect of which needs to be torn in order to open the lid. Intentional, inadvertent, or malicious ingress into the container can only be made by tearing at the perforations and thereby evidencing the potential tampering and contamination of the packaging contents. The lid and tray edges may further include mechanical interference fits, including snap-fit grips that may be of the releasably lockable kind to permit sealing, release, and re-sealing multiple times without deterioration in reliability, and which can further prevent or minimize leakage of liquid food product.

A cover is configured to be attached to the base to generally enclose the carrier, thereby protecting the baked goods for transport or storage. Abstract: The present invention is directed a beverage container having a two-part base. The beverage container has a container body having a side wall member and a bottom member, and a liquid retaining cavity therebetween. The container body has a first mating member adjacent a bottom of the container body. The two-part base comprises an inner member partially surrounded by an outer member, and wherein the inner member is preferably made of a rigid material and wherein the outer member is preferably made of a thermoplastic elastomer. The two-part base has a second mating member, whereby the two-part base is connected to the container body adjacent the bottom of the container body via a mating connection between the first mating member and the second mating member. Portions of the two-part base contact the bottom member of the container body to define seal areas that create a substantially fluid-tight seal between the base and the container body, thereby allowing the beverage container to be top-shelf dishwasher safe.

Abstract: A tray for transporting and displaying baked products is disclosed. The tray can be stacked in a 0° and 180° stacking configuration. The trays further include substantially non-glossy, non-smooth surfaces that allow stickers to be more easily removed, as well as drain channels in the base to facilitate removal of water following washing. The trays further include a scalloped handle on one side of the tray only to allow operators to more easily recognize which side of the tray they are facing. A tray retrieval tool can be used with several hook areas to facilitate retrieval of the trays following washing in high temperature water, or following stacking and storage. The trays further include spacers and spacer holes to place the spacers so that different types of baked products can be accommodated without damaging or destroying the baked product.

A frangible seal (13), recessed below the upper surface (6) of the cap, connects the detachable section to the remainder of the cap and thus, when the detachable section is withdrawn, the risk of spillage is minimized.

Abstract: A collapsible portable tank for storing liquids has a liquid impervious liner. The side walls of the liner are supported by a collapsible frame. A plurality of hand grips in a zigzag pattern on the floor panel of the liner facilitates manipulation of the liner to collapse the liner with the frame. The liner floor panel is of heavier material than the side walls and is heat sealed along its entire perimeter to the liner side walls, affording a more durable floor while eliminating clumsy excess liner material at the corners of the tank. Another hand grip on the floor panel opposite a drain in the liner side walls facilitates evacuation of stored liquid from the tank prior to collapsing the tank.
