Abstract: A holding device with a securing sheet for mounting onto a wall. The device comprises a base means and a holding means connected with said base means for supporting a foreign article. An impervious securing sheet is connectable air-tightly onto the wall and extends outwardly beyond a backside of the base means. A friction plate is connected to the base means and the securing sheet. If the friction plate and the securing sheet pull away from the wall, a negative pressure prevents the article from falling.
Abstract: A monitor having: a monitor main body displaying a picture; a base member; a stand member standing on the base member; a moving member combined to the stand member to move up and down, that supports the monitor main body with a force counterbalancing a weight of the monitor main body; a locking part provided in the moving member; a locking hook provided on one of the stand member and the base member to be locked to and released from the locking part of the moving member; and an elastic member to release the locking hook from the locking part when the moving member supports monitor main body with the force counterbalancing the weight of the monitor main body. With this configuration, the present invention provides a monitor which has decreased packing volume, and is convenient to handle.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tripod head, in particular a camera tripod head, whereby the return moment for balancing the tipping moment generated by the tipping moment exerted by the camera may be generated as near as possible to a sine sine curve with a compact construction. Essentially stationary return springs (17) are used for the above. The tilting movement of an arrangement (5) supporting the camera is transmitted over a carrier (26) by a cable (9), whereupon the pressure springs (17) are compressed and generate the necessary return moment.
Abstract: An apparatus includes a central support shaft that has an elongated shape provided with axially opposed ends. Rectilinear legs have opposed ends conjoined to the bottom support shaft end and extending outwardly therefrom at an oblique angle. The legs are pivotal between compressed and expanded positions. Auxiliary support shafts have elongated shapes provided with opposed medial and lateral ends. The auxiliary shafts are pivotally conjoined to the brackets and pivotal about the medial ends, such that the auxiliary shafts can be independently biased between vertical and horizontal positions. Brackets are attached to the central support shaft and spaced along a longitudinal length thereof. Clamps are positional along the auxiliary shafts. Each clamp is adaptable between open and closed positions for releasing and gripping the window blind. The window blind is centrally registered between the auxiliary support shafts during cleaning operations.
Abstract: Each of attachments 50 has fixtures formed in a base part 51 for fixation to metal fixtures 80a and 80b. It also has a projecting part 52 having two surfaces formed on its side which opposes one of brackets 20. The two surfaces differ in height by an amount corresponding to the difference in height between the metal fixtures 80a and 80b. Each of the two surfaces has a fixture formed thereon. The brackets 20 each have screw holes and clearance holes formed in their portions which oppose, when their vertical locations relative to PDP 10a and PDP 10b are kept unchanged, the attachments 50 fixed to the metal fixtures 80a and 80b, respectively.

Abstract: A mount for an image display apparatus allows a viewing angle, height, and aspect ratio of the image display apparatus to be adjusted. The mount includes a base, a support member disposed vertically with respect to the base, and an elevator which moves up and down within the support member. An upper bracket is engaged with the elevator, and a pivot bracket is engaged with a rear surface of the image display apparatus and rotates about a pivot shaft of the upper bracket. Rotation of the bracket causes an activation bar to move up and down, for forcing a holder into a fixed position or a released position the holder from. The holder prevents rotation of the display if the display is not already positioned at its upper position. The holder also prevents downward movement of the display if the display has been rotated.
Abstract: A curtain rod assembly includes one or more support members, such as brackets, that are configured to support a curtain rod from a wall. The support member include a coupler portion that provides a seamless and flush interface between the support member and the rod.
Abstract: A height adjustment mechanism for electronic equipment is disclosed. The height adjustment mechanism includes a first sliding component that includes a first set of mechanical structures for engaging a second set of mechanical structures, a first mechanical sub-component coupled to the first sliding component and coupled to a second mechanical sub-component that includes the second set of mechanical structures and a second sliding component coupled to the first sliding component. The first set of mechanical structures and the second set of mechanical structures are configured to mesh. A movement of the first sliding component causes either an expansion or a retraction of the first mechanical sub-component.

Abstract: An anti-shock device has at least two sliding members placed in at least two layers. Each sliding member is comprised of a slotted seat, an inner seat, and a rolling shaft. The slotted seat has a slot defined longitudinally in a face and has outer curved rails defined in two sidewalls. The inner seat mounted slidably in the slot has an inner curved rail defined therein, corresponding to and curving in the opposite direction of the outer curved rails. The rolling shaft is mounted rotatably through the outer curved rails and the inner curved rail. When subjected to vibration, the anti-shock device converts the horizontal forces into vertical forces. In addition, an energy dissipation member is provided in the anti-shock device that eliminates vertical vibrations.
Abstract: An adjustable bracket for mounting the headrail for a covering for architectural openings includes a stationary base member mountable on a wall or ceiling surface having a slot formed therein and a headrail holder connectable to the headrail and adjustably movable and operably connected within the elongated slot between fixed positions.
Abstract: A wall mounting monitor bracket comprises a sliding base means, at least a movable arm means, and at least a connection means. The movable arm means is hung on the sliding base means via one end, and connected to the connection means via the other end. The other end of the connection means is attached to a first monitor. By adjusting the movable arm means and the connection means, the first monitor can be firmly and easily adjusted to different angles.
Abstract: A supporting device is described. The supporting device includes a shell, a release mechanism, a rotational mechanism, and a support frame. The shell includes a release chamber disposed at the central position of the shell and a rotational chamber through the shell and perpendicular to the release chamber. The release mechanism is disposed in the release chamber for operating the support frame. The rotational mechanism is disposed in the rotational chamber and protrudes to move correlatively with the release mechanism. The support frame is coupled to the rotational mechanism and is unfolded outwardly for supporting an apparatus. The support frame is closed into the equipment by operating the release mechanism.
Abstract: The invention provides a device for avoiding inattentive-fall of a legged furniture article, comprising a support means having a cavity for passage of a leg member of the furniture article; and at least one roller rotatably attached to the support means, wherein the roller and the cavity are arranged vertically in a staggered mode. In the device of the invention, a simple one-way roller structure is used in order to enhance greatly the stability of the furniture article as well as impart the advantages of easy installation and convenient use to the device of the invention.
Abstract: The supports of the present invention further comprise a frame strut extending across a lower portion of the support frame. Two openings are defined in the frame strut which are adapted to receive ends of an expansion limiter piece. This limiter piece is generally V-shaped and has connection means at the end of each of the V legs for connection to frame struts of adjacent hose supports. The vertex of the limiter piece is located proximal to a vertex formed by the hinge of adjacent hose supports. At the vertex of the limiter piece and at locations near the connection means, living hinges are formed so that a user will experience relatively little resistance to opening, accordion-style, the invention hose supports.
Abstract: A hanger assembly including an adjustable bar and a fixture box for rapidly installing and centering an electrical fixture over a hole in a ceiling. The adjustable bar includes an elongated tubular member, a threaded rod rotatably connected to the tubular member, joist engaging members on each end of the bar, and a fastening arrangement for securing the fixture box with respect to the adjustable bar. The adjustable bar can be adjusted to a shortened configuration to allow easy passage through a hole in a ceiling and the tubular member then rotated to force the joist engaging members into secure contact with the joists. The fastening arrangement permits loosening and readjustment of the hanger assembly to enable centering the fixture box above the hole.
